Amazing little shops and beautiful lights and layout. Great place to see, especially in the evening. Quiet and friendly people. Must see in this area! Go to "Rock Your World" shop! The owner throws such good deals and really has a passion for this rocks/crystals. All top quality product. If you're into minerals, go there for the best prices of one of a kind stuff I've ever seen!

Belmar is a popular, open-air complex with brand-name stores and diverse eateries, plus a cinema and art studios. It is located at 7337 W Alaska Dr, Lakewood, CO 80226, USA. The shopping district has a variety of stores to choose from, including clothing stores, home goods stores, and toy stores. There are also many restaurants to choose from, including both sit-down and fast-casual options. In addition to the shops and restaurants, there is also a cinema and several art studios. Belmar is a great place to spend a day shopping, dining, and exploring. The open-air complex is perfect for a leisurely stroll, and there is something for everyone to enjoy. I would highly recommend Belmar to anyone looking for a great place to shop, dine, and explore.

Nice place; some cars were not stoked to let pedestrians cross when going to different shops, but typical for CO suburbs.

Hobby Lobby was the only store I visited. Handicap accessible entrance and parking. Clean and well maintained restroom. Store was well stocked and organized, however labels or numbers on the aisles would be helpful. Not a lot of staff for such a large store so finding an employee took a few but she was very courteous and helpful.

Beautiful shopping area. Great shops and restaurants. This Saturday I went to Target to pick up an order and saw food trucks and tents in the center. It was a Beer festival. For a price of $45 you had unlimited taste testing with small glasses. (bit pricey to me. If I felt I got my money's worth, I'd be wasted) I'd have loved to see an option with a lesser price with limited tasting.

Bad shopping center. The stores are all pretty lame. The restaurants are nothing to write home about. It’s pretty much the same stores that you’ll find everywhere else, there’s no point in coming here to shop, because you’ll pay extra here. Every store charges a surcharge or tax just for shopping in Belmar. It’s ridiculous. The workers are apathetic and frankly do not care about their customers. The parking and the driving are horrible and unsafe. There’s so many cars parked on both sides of the road that there is barely any room to drive. This place is a suburban money trap, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Lots of nice shops and eateries. Places to receive services also. Great restaurant options, huge patios to eat and drink at. Nice scenery, location is fantastic. Plenty of parking options available. Shops located in close proximity to each other so it's not a lot of walking and still a nice distance.

Belmar is quite simply a magical place! I love walking with my dog Jazzy and meeting all of the homeowners in Belmar. The special events are amazing and the Belmar pond is a lovely relaxing place to walk. I noticed this morning that a new sign has been installed advertising the trail around the pond as the Belmar Fitness Trail. There are so many wonderful restaurants in Belmar. You will not be disappointed spending a morning and afternoon or a full day shopping and exploring. Belmar Security is frequently on the job and patrolling the streets.

Today's visit, 🍕 "The Crazy Train" deep dish, at The Rock Wood Fired Kitchen. The place is decorated in rebel and looks and feels like it too. Lots of wooden furniture. Feels outdoorsy yet cozy and comfy. Service is great. The 🍕 is mouthwatering! Reasonably priced handmade recipe tossed before your very eyes. The chips with queso dip was 😋

First time for me at this theatre, and it was a great experience from walking in the door to leaving. The staff when we came on greeted us, and the staff when we left thanked us for coming and told us to have a great rest of our day. The concessions staff was friendly and patient with us while we made our selections. I was traveling with a 10 year old, and the whole experience including the movie was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Kudos to all yoyr staff!!!

Great location and a place to grab Starbucks on your way into the store. The view as I drank my coffee was nice!

A little confusing to navigate around but the area has a lot of great shopping and restaurants. The best part is that somehow the area seems not to be over crowded with the homeless like the city. Now don't get me wrong I feel bad for people less fortunate however it's nice to be able to walk down the street to shop or eat without being asked for money, cigarettes, food etc. I don't mind giving and I normally do, but it's nice to get a break from that once in a while.

Why so empty? So the bars are all empty. Most of thos place are empty and I do not understand why? It's a great location centrally located. They got an ice skating g rink. It's lit up beautiful for holidays. They have bowling a movie theater... I want to see more people here. May e they need better stores÷

I liked it better when it was the "Villa Italia Mall" I think it needs a gaming room. Something like a high end console battle room or paintball arena.. maybe something similar to boondocks or go cart racing... Or all the above. One thing I appreciate most is the owner is glad to take constructive criticism. afterwards, a kind response and the willingness to work together to create better solutions. Such a great example of leadership. I have edited this on my own and am not sponsored by any private or commercial company.

Belmar is such a great location. The development team really did a great job on the layout of this area. Beautiful homes, shopping, parks, and restaurants. During the Christmas season, the holiday lights are nice. Get some hot chocolate and take a stroll through Belmar.

Great place to shop! Especially at 377 S. Teller St. Which sells used golf equipment at the best value around!

Belmar is a beautiful and unique place. I love it! Wonderful small shops and the tastiest restaurants line the pedestrian-friendly streets. Beautiful decorative lighting sets the mood at night. Farmer's market and other events make it a fun place with lots happening. Worth the visit!!

We loved staying in this area for our family trip to Denver. Belmar is what they call the downtown Lakewood area. It seemed very clean and safe and you can easily get all around Denver from starting or staying here. Shops and restaurants all over. Movie theater and easy parking.

I love it here but one big downside is that the music is soo loud on the street. I’ve come at all hours and they never seem to have it at a reasonable volume. Definitely something that reminds why I would want to go somewhere else

Belmar is a great place to come for shopping or just for a nice walk. Tons of free parking and frequent events make it even more appealing. The whole complex is beautiful and I consider myself fortunate to live so close.

Went to target for vision test. Store was clean and well organized. Could use a bit more parking.

A mix of trendy shops, and restaurants alongside standard big box stores like Target. Plenty of parking depending on the time of day and always available with a walk.

A lot if the staff in stores are super unfriendly and made me feel like it was problematic bringing my dog in even when I explained he was a psychiatric service animal. I feel like they are trying to come across as an upscale place instead of being in the middle of downtown Lakewood, you're not cherry Creek belmar, you don't have to act so snooty

More of a notalgic visit since I have not been to this area in over 20 years! Big changes indeed! Looks like the pandemic did take a punch to the place since many shops have shuttered. Overall a definite upgrade. Hopefully they will bounce back!

I super love living in Bel Mar. It is a clean, low crime enclave close to shopping and restaurants. Bel Mar Park is a lovely morning walk. Ice skating, yoga classes in the plaza. Great location, friendly neighborhood.

I love the Belmar shopping area. I have been shopping here for 18 to 20 years. Wild to think that many of the shops are still the same and are just as well kept and maintained at they were 20 years ago. I love the King Soopers, the Michael's and a number of other shops. The restaurants are great too. And there is a decent selection of options as well.

We love Chewy's. We get take out on the nights we just don't feel like going out to dinner but don't want to cook either. Their take out never misses. We've never gotten an incorrect order. They do a great job, and very friendly staff.

if i could leave 0 stars i would. When i go shopping the AC’s are broken and it’s way too hot to shop in. Fix the AC for your customers and your workers !!!!

What more can I say, it's where the cool kids go to play and shop in Lakewood. So I don't know why they allow me there. Hope they don't find out.

Chuey's was average this trip. Food quality was not as remembered from earlier visits. Found it interesting that peach tea could be ordered for lunch but not at dinner. Waiter said, at dinner, they did not offer flavored tea. Earlier in the day they did. If you like a plate full of rice and beans and little else then this is the place to go. Serving was also very dry when sauce was ordered. Not this establishments (Colorado) best showing. Texas locations are much better.

Very interesting place. Back when it was Billa Italia Mall I used to get high where the Target is now. Man we smoked alot of ganja back then. Then we'd go play video games at the arcade.

Chuy's is always a lot of fun. The decor and all their different restaurants is very eclectic and enjoyable. Always great service and the food is always delicious. Only giving four stars because they discontinued their churro beans. Those are what got me going to Chuy's in the first place and kept me coming back. Make sure to try the jalapeno ranch dip with your tortilla chips

Great shopping center. So many shops to visit and plenty of places to eat and an extra plus the movie theatre.

Ate at Ted’s Montana Grill- delicious, great service, and reasonably priced dinner. Drove around Belmar afterwards. Changes in stores, a number of closures, but promising new business moving in. Love the lights across streets! Festive, even beyond the Holidays.

Parking lot on the far south side is dangerous to drive through. Potholes will send you to the repair shop. Shops and restaurants are fine but exteriors are not being taken care of. It's going downhill fast. I'd rather shop at a clean place. I feel sorry for the shops and restaurants.

  • 3/5 Bryan H. 1 year ago on Google
Parking here is always a challenge. There is always a lot of construction/road projects going on. There are also a fair amount of sketchy people wandering the streets. The ice skating staff was super accommodating.

4/9/23: G-Que Bbq: great place. Fabulous pulled pork, mac 'n cheese and bbq beans! They also have sweet iced tea! Now what's a better BBQ meal than that? Great service too.

This chuys has been an absolute treasure since it moved in! Always have a great time and the food is great as well. The best part is the sauce they bring out with the chips first thing when you sit down!
