We were so happy to be able to return to one of our favorite places from our childhood. They still captured the heart and essence of Casa Bonita but gave it a much needed update so it can be enjoyed for many more years. The environment was amazing and clean and the old "Casa Bonita Smell" is gone. The new puppet show and magic show were so much fun. The divers were great and so was the Mariachi band. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The food was a huge improvement and nobody left with their stomach hurting. I still wouldn't come here for just the food but the price was worth it for the experience to me. We did like the salsa and sopapillas the best. The bathrooms are very nice and no longer cramped wooden door stalls. We will definitely be back. Wish they'd open fully. My only complaint is that they put the chips, salsa and waters out on the tables before people get there so when we were walking around and exploring, they were just sitting out on empty tables and could easily be sneezed on or tampered with.

After months on a waiting list, I got to go. I had been there as a kid in the 70s, and had fond memories (minus the food). Once you make your reservation after being notified that you have been selected from the wait list, you arrive, pass through security, check in at a ticket window, go through the buffet line, and then your food is put on a tray and you are led to a table. We were placed in a mine cave atmosphere. I got enchiladas, which were better than the 70s but kind of blah. I ordered a skinny margarita, which I enjoyed. The sopapillas were also enjoyable. After dinner, we wandered around, saw the cliff diving, went to the gift shop, heard music, saw the puppet show and just enjoyed seeing it all. It is pretty expensive for the average person. I think it was more affordable for families in the early days. I am glad it is back open. I doubt I will be back, but I am glad I went once (again).

Casa Bonita is not just a restaurant, it's a whole adventure! The food was solid. I had the braised brisket and it was great. The sopapillas were so warm and puffy it was delicious! The divers were breathtaking, the puppet show was hilarious, and the decor and games were legendary. I felt like I was in a different world. I can't wait to go back! My only complaint is I would have liked more rice and beans.

This place is absolutely fantastic since it has been overhauled, everything was working and in great shape, the our waiter was great, the actor's were wonderful as well, all of the attractions operating! We had went for my kid's birthday, and they all did their own part to make it special for him. Blows my mind to say this, but the food was very good ! I had the enchiladas, and enjoyed it. Bravo 👏 Matt Stone and Trey Parker, you took a once proud restaurant in Denver, and made it, in my opinion, better then before! I don't often do this, but 5 out of 5 stars gentleman. Thank you again for saving this staple of Denver dining/entertainment! We will definitely be back again soon !

Casa Bonita hits a very special spot for me and the nostalgia that they have been able to keep is absolutely outstanding! Overall, the restaurant itself is pretty much exactly the way. It's always been just exponentially cleaner. Awesome that you can still run around and check everything out. We had chicken mole and the pork tacos and everything was really really good and of course you can't miss out on the sopapillas! The staff is fantastic and the entertainers hit it out the park! Fun, fun fun! Can't wait to go back again!

We had a really good time at the revamped Casa Bonita this weekend! From what I can recall prior to the remodel, I don't think it received a significant renovation, but it sure cleans up nicely. It was really, pretty, in a word. As for the food, which is probably the main concern for former visitors, was a significant improvement! Taper those expectations though. Limited menu per usual, but tastier, at least for the carnitas I had this go round. Receiving your food is cafeteria style, that is unchanged and part of its character. The service is top notch! From the host escorting you to your table (which can seem like quite the march if you've never been, huge place) to the servers. The shows were a lot of fun, especially for the kids, they adore this place now. I say now because when they were little, they didn't care for the dimly lit environment. We will certainly return, the kids insist! 😀

This was one of my favorite restaurants growing up so expectations were high when they reopened and they did not disappoint. They really outdid themselves with this renovation. The food is delicious, it looks clean, it smells clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The performances are funny and kid friendly. The coolest thing in my opinion is they have implemented a no tip policy and actually pay their staff livable wages. I highly recommend getting on the wait list for Casa Bonita, it's worth it.

I don't know why anyone has a complaint about the food, it was good. It's much better than it was! It was great and just how it used to be (except the food, which is better). Black Bart's cave, the arcade, the shop... The cliff divers... It's all there and it's awesome!!! I thought the price was a bit steep but you get chips and salsa, a meal and a drink, and sopapillas for that price. I love that they're a non-tipping facility. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. Every employee we came across was happy to be there (or was good at pretending lol) and welcoming. Good job, guys. I'm glad y'all bought it and kept everything as it should be. 🤘.
