The Árpád-era church is the oldest built monument in Lakitelek. The former name of the settlement was Felső-Alpár, the first mention of which dates back to 1075. The excavation of the ruined church in Upper Alpár was carried out in the framework of a serious tourism development project, with grant support. An archeology and art history complex was also built next to it. Currently, the walls are located in the courtyard of the Tőserdei Pálinkaház, and can be viewed freely during opening hours, along with an exhibition showing the history of the church's excavation.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I wanted to book a table when they told me that they only accept groups until May. I don't know why the opening hours are posted then, and how they can advertise themselves as a restaurant if they don't even provide such services.

The design is very nice. Special, natural environment, beautiful courtyard. We had a lunch at the restaurant, but it was quite forgettable for me. Very small selection. We hardly found any food that I would like to eat. We were already thinking about getting up, but since the small selection and the relatively high prices indicated a special gastronomic experience, we chose 3 completely different dishes to taste. Well, the meals were particularly small in quantity (my partner also only lived well, although he is not a big eater) and were mediocre. It might be worth going once because of the environment, but for us the gastronomic experience was missed. I note that there are few tables and there was only 1 family besides us, even though we were there in the summer, on weekends and at noon.....
