Park located just beside the river Bagmati. You can find a very peaceful environment inside the park. We went for a walk there. Its a bit crowded during the morning and evening. People come here for enjoying the greenery. There is a volleyball playground inside the park. We also played a gully cricket for sometime. A very good place for meditation.

It is a beautiful public park that is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. The park was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the United Nations in 1995 and covers an area of 27 acres. The park is well-maintained and features several walking trails, open spaces, and picnic areas. The lush greenery and beautiful flowers make it a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. There are also several water fountains and sculptures throughout the park that add to its aesthetic appeal. One of the main attractions of the UN Park is the panoramic view of the Himalayas that it offers. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the mountains from various vantage points in the park, making it a popular spot for photography. The park is also home to several important cultural and historical monuments, including the World Peace Pagoda and the International Memorial Museum. These attractions offer visitors a glimpse into the history and culture of Nepal and the world. Overall, the UN Park is a peaceful and relaxing oasis in the bustling city of Kathmandu. Its beautiful natural surroundings, cultural attractions, and stunning views of the Himalayas make it a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Nepal.

Quite descent park for morning and evening walk with fresh air and peaceful environment comprising tall trees and greenery. You can also go there in the afternoon with friends and loved ones and to meet up. There is a volleyball ground, sitting place and paved walking trail where you can also spend time reading book, stretching out, doing yoga, meditating. However, it doesn't meet the expectation as it can be more better and managed in proper and better ways.

If you wana jog or brisk walk or run this is good place. Even if you just wana hang out with friends then also this place is nice. There is Rest Room available. You can buy water and snacks inside also. Plastic waste is visible and very few dustbins for now. Place is nice but you might feel smelly due bagmati polluted river following on the side. Despite all this thing place is good for a quick break from daily life activities.

An absolute brilliant park of its own, its beauty and the nature as well as environment is so peaceful, so friendly. Kids will be playing football, volleyball, people will be cycling and adults will be doing excericse of running, local shops are also present there and the sellers of those local shops are so friendly and nice, nothing is better than this park at noon time, definitely a passionate experience of mine to visit this park every week.

A good place to go for mourning and evening walks. It is a kind of mini forest right in the heart of Kathmandu valley. A well maintained path for running and walking can be found in the park

nice rides....bit could be more better in rides....but enjoyed with family and friends....nice place for fun and relaxation.Nearest place to chill out. We started our ride from kaushaltar and reached there in 1 hour. You can enjoy a good view from the top. Lots of leeches During rainy season. So take precautions. The road is muddy during rain.

Just a chill place to hang out but there is a road beside it with lots of vehicles during the day. Also, Bagmati River is not what it used to be; it's polluted.

A nice place to blow off steam. Superb for morning/evening walks and general exercise. The only concern is that it is located on the clogged Bagmati River.  This park, nevertheless, contains greenery, which is peculiar in Kathmandu. There are trees, shrubs, and chairs for sitting, as well as a lane for walking. Excellent location for mindfulness - based stress relief. Overall, it's a nice place to chill out and get some refreshments. It is very beneficial to spend time in nature, play games inside, or have some quality conversations in a park with a relaxing environment. It is ideal for jogging, exercises, and light dates.

The park is worth a visit. This is a popular place for early morning joggers. The setting is renowned for giving an experience that is conducive to relaxation, despite the fact that the odor from the river Bagmati can be too much to handle at times. Possibilities to sit down and have a chat are many. It's a nice area for couples to go out on a date. However, this park is not pristine and well-kept like other parks in the area. Some bars for callisthenics, as well as activities like pull-ups, push-ups, and so on, would be useful, in my opinion. The addition of badminton courts would greatly increase its usefulness.

It is one of the best place to find peace. This is the place perfect to get some fresh oxygen in the busy and polluted Kathmandu city. Here you can find place to play sports and have some good time with loved one. Also, you can click some beautiful pictures.

The UN Park was situated along the river Bagmati corridor, Lalitpu The park has given sanctuary to the morning joggers, yoga enthusiasts, birds etc. Quite serene and pleasant place to all.

Good initiative but there is a lot to be done. It has not been maintained, first of all it was not even completed. How long will it take to finish as planned, no one knows. Seems like the planner has left the project and forgot it.

So the park has been upgraded significantly in the past few years and it looks nothing like how it is shown in the pictures here it is a lot better There is also a playground like area and an exercising area and bathrooms and benches and lots of greenery and also a river All these things make this place really worthwhile to visit and relax in while taking a stroll It is also a good place for morning walks or exercising Also the bridge next to the park is also fun to walk across and a perfect place to take photos ; )

Public park for recreational activities. Good place for friends meetup, family gossip, playing some games like badminton, volleyball 🏐, etc. Here you can do morning exercise, jogging and also yoga. Plus you can also shoot small videos for YouTube, TikTok etc. And you know everything is free to do here, just pay for the washroom. #UNPARK

It's a relief to have a park in the neighborhood. The park is kept maintained at most of the times. Entry is free of cost and have sitting areas in different parts of the park. If they could only trim the bushes and tall grasses, it would be even more pleasing.
