This place is perfect for relaxation, meditation and jogging in the moring and evening. At day time, movies were directed, mostly you see couples around this place also youth playing Volleyball, Cricket etc. There is no any fee or extra charge for entrance.

Don't expect something like the garden of eden. On the periphery of Bagmati (Manohara) river, a place where you can go for a stroll. Not too polluted, the trees do well in taking away all that toxic scummy smell from the river. Children and adults alike frequent the park, play sports like badminton, volley ball, football and even cricket (what are the odds) You can't take in you vehicles not even bicycles. So it's not a spot for riding your bikes (go find someplace better). It's kind of a dating spot, you ought to find couple once ever couple minutes sitting somewhere quiet and enjoying some quality time. (Don't stare at them and embarrass yourselves.) There's two portions, partitioned by a bridge. The west side is better managed but the East side needs some work. A place where filmings of MVs are not uncommon, you see them once in a while. Final verdict, decent recreational spot to jog and stroll around.
