Pat Mayse Lake Recreation Area

Park

👍👍 Worth the two hour drive from Dallas. Clean, relatively quiet, nice trails, picnic areas, camping and boating areas. The park fees are reasonable. Bathrooms are kept clean. I try to come enjoy this lake a few times each year. It's a nice and relaxing getaway.

Love Pat Mayes, it have been my place peaceful place since I was small. I go there regularly to visit with God and think and find and answers to my problems it has never failed. God is there and he paints the sky every night and morning.

We had a ball. 2 weekends in a row. Grandkids 2nd time.. It really was blast. Large picnic tables. Grills there. They didn't allow dogs in the picnic areas near the water. But it didn't matter.

COOL LAKE u get to park your rv trucks off road..Good place to fish camp..relax... My kids enjoy it here. We had a good time..the sun hits the water like a mirror...sand n rocks...i enjoy myself. We went in free since they had a tournament and whoever is going fishing gets to go in free. What a way to start . Frist time here we love it. Nice lake I loved it!! nice atmospheres . Kids had fun. Friendly staff and so nice.

We enjoyed our stay. We actually ended up finishing out the week instead of 2 days. Very quiet, relaxing.

A hidden gem north of Paris, TX. A perfect spot to decompress. We spent a few nights in an RV. No sewer hookups, but electric, water and a dump station. Beautiful, relaxing, and on a lake. Dollar General Market and DQ are very convenient. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Price was right. Could not have asked for more!

2nd weekend in row. We had a blast. Grandkids got waterlogged this past weekend. (So did Papa). Just a great day.

👍👍 This is a great place to take your kids. It's clean and family friendly. Occasionally, you can see a patrolman close by. Family members can walk or jog while the kids play. It's a nice place nestled on the hill.

👍👍 Fun park even for tweens. Passing through on our travels and brought our 10 year old to play. A good amount of kids at 5 pm. She had a really good time. Love the Southern attitude and all the kids were so adorable. Looks like a nice walking trail as well. Playground had swings, a merry-go-round, sli...
