Absolute gem of the Douro Valley! My husband and I picked the Golden Mirror for the Douro portion of our honeymoon and we were so glad that we did! The rooms are spacious, clean and new and the view from our room was absolutely breath taking! The hosts of the hotel are so SO nice and helped us with parking every time we came back. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minute drive from Regua and about 10 minute drive to Lamego - both had good options for dining. We did two wine tastings just down the road at Quinta da Pacheco and Quinta de Tourais - both were incredible and just a couple minutes from the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a 10/10! We hope to be back some day.

Amazing experience staying at Golden Mirror! Warm and friendly staff, lovely breakfast and views that day it all. We really enjoyed our clean room. Hotel is new.

Thoroughly recommended and I look forward to returning. The views (especially from the rooms) are amazing and the outdoor garden and pool area is beautiful to relax in. The hotel is very new so everything is modern and high quality, from the showers to the beds. Everything was clean and very pleasant. The hosts are also so friendly and welcoming and they made my visit very comfortable. The only downside perhaps is the small car park but at least it’s very secure.

Fantastic stay. Pedro was a great host. Only stayed one night but caught one of the most magical sunsets from the room with the douro Valley and the river. Room was fantastic. We had the largest one. Only challenge was the busy road so getting in and out might annoy some cars from behind as there is a blind corner just ahead of the property. Otherwise everything was purrrrfect. (resident cat's name is Golden)

Perfect place to stay in Douro valley. Warm welcome, private parking, wide rooms with panorama view, great breakfast, clean and quiet.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit wenig Zimmern und einem super netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber! Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und komfortabel. Die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend. Für einen Kurztrip sehr zu empfehlen.
