A really nice peaceful beach in the lovely Silverdale village. I really enjoyed the walk down to this beach, the scenery, and the nice benches to sit on and pass the time away. A real must visit if you are in the Silverdale village area. Enjoy! :)

Beautiful spot. Great for a stop over. Check the tides as it does change quickly. Tenner to stop the night. Handy for visiting Silverdale. Highly recommended. Please remember to pay, be considerate, no fires, no bbq, no noise and don’t stay too long. Spend some money in this welcoming community.

The town very nice with good facilities being coop and pharmacy etc, thr beach maybe good summer time but mid March very quicksand area andvery rocky to the water in the distance, we didn't bother this time of year very slippy. The car parking can only described as awful, very big sharp stones, much a tyre killer and believe Β£2 a car to park we stopped prior to the cattle grid, if gets busy neighbours may get a bit peeved, nice village/town narrow roads,

We visited the beach in November. The terrain is totally unsuitable for families especially with small children. The sand is more like mud with some areas of quicksand that are particularly dangerous and impassable if using a buggy. I can't imagine how this beach would be different even in warmer months as the tide comes right in and fast returning the land to Marsh conditions daily. What helpful reviews posted by the locals though. 🫑

a stunning place to visit, ideal for all ages, however at peak holiday times ,it can be difficult for pushchairs and wheelchair users, so allow plenty of time for your visit, the view across the bay is stunning .I do believe that there is walks across the bay to grange over sands .there are many places to eat and relax, however ,they can also get very busy, and as it is so popular, parking can also be a problem, i would recommend it to everyone. A must visit.

We stayed a week in a cottage on the shore - it was peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. The beach isn't for bathing - it's a tidal estuary which looks different every day and the sunsets are amazing. Tony, the guy mentioned in a previous review, was great. Full of interesting information about the area and things to look out for. He worked hard all week keeping everything looking tidy - a thankless task with the attitude of some people. If you're looking for some peace and tranquility then Siverdale will give you that but if you're looking for a seaside holiday with entertainment, swimming and ice creams - this isn't the place for you.

A nice beach, very flat and long. Not a good place for swimming because it's so shallow and the tide comes in very quickly. But lovely for a walk.

Silverdale beach was a revelation. I had not been to Morecambe Bay before and it was impressive. There were lots of waders and wildlife there and it was a beautiful part of the country.

Not a commercial beach which makes it very quiet. Tide was out so I reckon it was well over a mile to water but if peace and quiet and great views of the lakes are what You're looking for, look no further

Limited parking on the road by the beach, there isn't really a beach and very muddy and slippy if you want to walk along the foreshore. We walked to Cove Well along the fields, really good path but fields included livestock. Cove Well was really pretty again no beach but enjoyed seeing the cave.

Hidden gem. Visited during to stays at Gibraltar Farm. Highly recommend the beach and the campsite. The beach is great for walking and dogs.. it's not a bucket and spade beach, which is a positive if you have dogs which steal picnic lunches.
