Very disappointing! Salt & pepper chips were very soggy and packed with onions, not recommended. Chicken, green pepper & black bean sauce - again packed with onions, green pepper parts too big and the sauce was tasteless , same as a supermarket jar. No boiled rice comes with main. They added free prawn crackers but were over cooked, hard around edges. Up in the night gasping for water due to too much salt, left Stomach feeling ill.

Just received our take away, Monday 11th July wish we hadn’t bothered! The worse Chinese we have ever had. The food was ordered at 20:27 and delivered at 20:43. (Order and phone call evidence to prove). This was an instant worry, once opening the dishes immediately it was obvious all the food had been warmed up. Everything terrible and £42 ordered thrown straight in the bin. Phoned The Honey Tree straight away to discuss the issue and hopefully have this resolved and the lady on the phone was rude, her words “do what you want, I’ve got to go”. Avoid this takeaway! Visited here with family last night, food was terrific and the staff were very nice indeed. Was great to finally eat Chinese in Morecambe that had great taste.

Couldn't eat it, the chicken was fatty and didn't feel like it was cooked properly, the salt and pepper chips only had onion in,expected noodles but only had a tiny handful of bean spouts, totally disappointed, will not be ordering from there ever again, 1 hungry and very unhappy customer.

Ordered takeaway from here and was late, called to see where it was to tell me items were missing from my order do I want to refund these or have them the next day! I told the woman on the phone..I wanted what I ordered what good is it having it the next day, so cancelled the whole order as she said this was possible checked online and no refund has even been out through! Will never use again!

Excellent food. We got it delivered and it arrived on time. We ordered salt and pepper chicken, egg fried rice, curry sauce, pork dumplings, curry samosas and sweet and sour sauce.... the sauce pots were huge, the food was warm and delicious and well seasoned and we will definitely be returning!! Only very minor complaint maybe a bit expensive but good food.

Chips were cold and looked like they were warm ups. Ribs were 1 inch in size, never seen ribs so small? 2 x main rice dishes were poor. Not happy with this meal. What a waste of £34.

Just terrible sadly, sat in and was given prawn crackers in a dirty bowl (there was old tacky sauce smeared all along the bottom) I made the waitress aware and she just took it away, didn't replace it even though she said she would get us a new one. We had the morecambe prawns, absolutely miniscule bland portion with this bit of fried noodle that tasted like Styrofoam. We had salt and pepper chips that had that much salt on them that we could barely eat them, when I let the waitress know she asked if I had got the salt and pepper chips. She had been the only one serving us so I think she was being ironic when I said yes and she went "well yeah they do tend to have a lot of salt in it". I have had salt and pepper chips from plenty of places, I'm not stupid enough to know they shouldn't be inedible. The sweet and sour prawns was nothing to put to memory just very typical, could have literally come from a jar. Would never ever go again, I politely said it was really not great food at all and she just didn't care. There was hardly anyone else in, should have seen that as a red flag!

We ate there mid week so it wasn't too busy although there were plenty of take a way orders going out. The staff were very friendly, polite & professional and made us feel very welcome. The meal was lovely and as we had one of the banquet meals noone went home hungry! Will definitely go again.

No complaints! Food was tasty...even the gluten free menu amazingly. Service was good and people friendly. Waitress was a bit stressed but I could see she was trying her best, what more can you ask for? Don't be put off by negative reviews on Google.

Food was barely warm as it was served on cold plates. Four starters arrived the fifth one arrived about 5 minutes later. The service was atrocious as all the staff were concentrating on the takeaway service. After serving the starters we waited about 1 hour for the main course, didn't ask if we would like another drink or if the food was okay. Won't be going again.

I'm visiting up from.Cardiff to see my granddaughter. I can honestly say that this is by far the best Chinese I've had to date. The food was piping hot and delicious. The portions were ample enough for two people to share. The young girl that served us who has not long started working there was so helpful and friendly, and all the staff were lush. Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant and will definatly be returning 😀

Ordered two mains & two sides, only half of the order turned up. Spoke with the staff who offered a refund or the missing food to be sent out. Asked for the food to be sent out- why would I want only half an order?! Took another 50 minutes for the missing food to turn up. Original food now stone cold and the rest of the order was barely warm as well. Over all, very unsatisfied with the experience. What a waste of £30+

Used to be one of our favourites until a visit on Friday. Told there was no happy hour but then when a family friends group of 9 arrived miraculously they were all able to have happy hour. Service was slow yet there were 4 girls all stood by the bar. Kids from the group were allowed to run behind the bar and kick a football around the restaurant. Members of the group were shouting across our table as they were stood at the bar. One man was allowed to smoke his e-cig less than 5 metres away from our table then allowed to charge it behind the bar. When it came to paying somehow to feed 2 adults and one child who was sharing came to a total of £75 with three soft drinks. Such a shame as the food is very nice but the management is atrocious.

We ordered 2 soups and 2 mains. We had to wait 1h 15 minutes for our mains. Not once did staff come over and apologise. When I said I would pay for what we had at the counter. One of the waiting staff said "we are busy" in a sarcastic tone what kind of service Is that. We have visited regular but never again.

Absolutely terrible , Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and chips. Both chips and chicken balls were hard and dried out, just like they'd been cooked the day before and heated up. Couldn't eat went straight in the bin. Avoid.

Had a delivery which was lukewarm and chicken balls were raw in the middle . When I complained I was virtually accused of lying When I said I would report to food standards a female member of staff said she would come and take the food back To my surprise this was done. Only offer of recompense was 10% off next meal or £5 as we had eaten some We were also verbally abused Awful customer service and terrible food AVOID at all costs

Literally the best Chinese I have been in years. Crispy duck perfectly cooked. Fried starters perfect. Tofu with black beans sauce and soft noodles delicious. I can't really understand how people gave 1 or 2 stars. Just beyond exceptional.

Not very hot when delivered. Rice stodgy. Dishes not too nice. Sorry to be negative but spent over £50 on this (set meal)... hot and sour soup was nice.

Food was not the best service is great very polite atmosphere wasn't great just had one other family in and was other end of restaurant we were being watched all the time by another member of staff witch was a bit put offish

The food was excellent and the service was excellent. Just lacked a little atmosphere. Maybe when holiday makers start coming, then things will change. There seemed to be a big turnover in takeaways. Will be recommending and returning soon.

Didnt actually get to eat so can’t rate food but sat at a table for 20 minutes without a menu or a drink whilst staff ran around sweating and flustering. Wasnt a particularly busy evening but appeared to be zero focus on restaurant whilst take away orders were being given priority

Bought my parents a slap up Chinese for their anniversary (was going to cook) while in Morecambe for a few days and it was lovely. Came quite quickly too. Driver couldn’t find us but that may of been my fault so he wasn’t happy.

Excellent Chinese restaurant, there was a couple of groups celebrating birthdays and the takeaway side was very busy with 4 delivery drivers in and out constantly. I was with a friend who is gluten free, there's a menu at the back just for his dietary needs. I had chicken noodle soup and he had the gluten free option. Main course I had chicken curry with boiled rice, my friend had sizzling steak in black bean sauce on a hot plate with boiled rice. We shared a nice bottle of Merlot, and the bill was very reasonably priced at just under £60.00. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in Morecambe, definitely worth going to if you're staying in the town.

The good was very good! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would have been nice to eat in the restaurant but that is closed for now and they are only doing takeaways. Quick service.

The food is always delicious and on time, i have ordered from here multiple times and only once was it 10 minutes late. Prices are reasonable and there is a large selection.

Best Chinese takeaway I've had in a long time. Prawns and tofu were fresh, didn't appear to be full of artificial colours and flavours. Meals were delicious

Stopped using after it changed hands, but now the food I have tried is so good we don't use anyone else. The king prawn sweet and sour is v good. Even the free prawn crackers that we normally throw away as chewy, are worth trying. Good value.

We was disappointed with the egg fried rice and veg noddles. Was really looking forward to this to deliver to our hotel but was the worst Chinese food I've tasted. Prawn on toast prawn crackers and curry sauce were nice. But the egg fried rice was so bad. Tasted just like boiled rice with no flavour. Delivery was very quick.
