Standards have declined whilst prices have increased. Another business resting on its laurels thinking that customer loyalty is less important than short term profit Trouble with this myopic vision is that customers are more discerning than they imagine and spread the word when rubbish is served I paid almost £8.00 for this battered sliver of fish and won’t be doing so again. Nor will my family and friends.

HARD UNDERCOOKED CHIPS whilst this can be forgiven once this has happened 3 times in a row now i had to throw one lot away ( sausage chips and gravy) they were awful even the sausage looked anaemic what a waste of money that was

Ordered this evening for delivery & when the order hadn't arrived (nearly 30 minutes late) I rang to see where the it was.. Phone was constantly engaged (off the hook??). As it was getting late & they close at 8pm I jumped in the car & drove down to the shop to see what was happening. I was met by the most rude response you could imagine "We've had 96 orders were very busy & yours is out" was snapped back at me, then slammed the hatch shut.. Charming!! I drove home & it still wasn't there.. Finally arriving 50/55 minutes late.. As you can imagine by now it was rather cold, so most went in the bin.. If they can't provide the service, why offer it in the first place?? Maybe being polite to a customer who you've let down would have been a little more appropriate & explain the problem in a reasonable manner?? There's plenty of other options out there!!

Ordered over phone on arrival to the chip shop which you cannot enter, there is what I can only describe as an archaic drawer to pass food out of from the door and although lots of staff and waiting food inside no one was checking on the ever increasing queue outside and the very bewildered customers, people were confused and had been waiting long periods for food and were unsure how to get a staffs attention! Unless the chip shop becomes more customer focused I will not be returning again. Overall a poor experience with average food.

They have started to do gluten free batter 1 day a month so we were able to enjoy fish and chips from our local chippy result ✅ we ordered online and picked them up at the chosen time we took them down to morecambe prom to watch the spectacular sunset whilst enjoying fantastic fish and chips and they say romance is dead ❤

Beautiful clean chippy, came over from Australia to visit family and a absolutely loved the good. See you again next year 😊

Not the worst chip shop I've used. But not the best. Cod was tasty but was a thin strip rather than a good fillet.

We are so lucky to have Morecambe's best chippy nearby. The chips are always good and the deep fried halloumi is very tasty. The shop is so clean and tidy too and they are a friendly team.

I don't knkw what has happened but for the past few times the fish has been burnt alive, other times way to much fat to the point of it could be swimming in it and just not worth eating. I ordered my food by lancaster eats so had to go thru them to sort out refund Now most of the time the food is excellent especially the panko prawns. They have a great menu follow any instructions to delivery which is a rare thing

Today was my first time at this chippy. Although the food was nice I’m afraid I won’t be going back. The ordering system from outside was very informal, no interaction with anyone at all. I was pointed at by a staff member when my order was ready then they pointed to the drawer it was put in 🙈🙈 Not for me ……………..

Wouldn't know. Just moved to the area, we fancied chippy. Went to the door tried to push and pull, was locked. Just some staff talking inside ignoring me at the door so I walked of. I have anixety so can't wait when don't know what to do and presumed was shut. Now home I see you have to wait outside and try and get their attention or just order online? Not for us sadly.

Food was alright But place is like something from Huyton. Can’t go in the place and they shove the food out of a sort of air lock system. So you have to wait in the freezing cold in the middle of whatever there hiding from. Avoid

‘Battered never bettered’ - I bed to differ! A disappointing experience the last few times we’ve been, with missing items (which we contacted the shop about, asked for a refund to my card which never happened but was promised). Twice we’ve selected Salt & Vinegar on their website and they’ve put none on our food - Fish and Chips are nothing without this! We used to come here as we’ve enjoyed the Packet Bridge chippy for years and thought with it being the same company it would live up to its standards and I would say to start with it did, but now it’s no better than any other Morecambe Chippy. Sorry to say we won’t be coming back in a hurry, only so many times you give a eatery a chance to get it right.
