I wonder if this health centre is being run down with a view to closure. There has been very little investment for years now and the spa has been out of action for most of 2023. I feel sorry for the very pleasant staff who are badly let down by senior management.

Not a bad gym. Small but adequate. Pool is OK. The changing rooms need a deep clean.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This hotels pool was closed without any notice. They said they put it on their website about its enclosure but it still is being advertised. No discounts or anything as well. I am absolutely disgusted .

Avoid at all cost. The place is a shambles. Although cheaper than other places locally, some of the facilities are usually out of use. We were shocked to discover through a Facebook post that the pool is closed for a month and although I was under the impression the gym had my contact details we were never informed of the pool closure via email or any other communication. My son has a junior membership therefore he cannot use ANY of the facilities for the next month, when I argued this the Manager was not sympathetic.I'm incredibly disappointed with their lack of communication.

Good gym and swimming pool. Problem seems to be getting maintenance man to come.

Many of the facilities are closed without notice. Most times I visit either the pool, hot tub, sauna or steam room are closed. When I came to cancel my membership they made this difficult. Asking that I cancel the direct debit with my bank, however the bank says that youfit should cancel the direct debit. Putting me in a difficult position and now having to raise a dispute with the bank. If your considering a gym, consider another because its not worth the hassle

Avoid. Filthy changing rooms, so many broken machines and the pool facilities constantly out of use. So many better options that are locally owned and have pride in how they treat their customers. Avoid this chain.

Joined here at the beginning of the year, when I joined there was no mention that the pool and wet facilities would be shut for two months. Management claimed that there were notices and that members were notified. There seems to have been a problem notifying potential members when signing up that the facilities were going to be shut. Management were not willing to do anything about the complaint and was just sheer hard face ignorance on their behalf. Eventually when the pool opened back up the agreed membership price was then increased to give a second slap to the face. Some facilities have never reopened. Don't bother joining. Go elsewhere.

Visited the facility twice over the bank holiday weekend and have been thoroughly impressed! The staff have all been really friendly and helpful. There is an extensive range of resistance machines along with a selection of cardio equipment. I particularly love the weights area which has a good selection of dumbbells, kettlebells and a smith machine. Would definitely use the gym again and recommend to others!

I joined you fit at the beginning of January along with so many people ... I’ve been a member at a few gyms over the years and thought as the gym was smaller I would struggle getting my workout in, but I was surprised I haven’t had to wait for any machines and have used the studio which is well equipped for a good HITT session or for just stretching ... there is also a spin studio which is great, the swimming pool, jacuzzi sauna and steam room are fantastic, the changing rooms are next level for cleanliness the showers are great, my induction with Reece was great, as a personal trainer myself I was very impressed with his knowledge( I just wanted a freebie workout ) haha The class time table is great Sarah’s HITT class on Monday’s are fab! I look forward to many many great workouts here!

been a member only a month not used for hotel but just the gym pool is always clean and the right temperture, staff are always freindly and at times can be really quiet which is perfect for someone like me, good price for membership only downside, theres nowhere to put your key from locker when you are swimming, they could do with wristbands that holds the key so you can keep it safe

I was on half training on swiming pool, when some people come for class and I wasn't informed about that just I was kicked out from swimming pool, that was unprofessional and ridiculous, stay away from this place
