Started here being a patient for the first few visits and found Rhonda the hygienist be providing over price deep cleanings. First appointment provided an estimate for about $700. When came in for over to get the work done. And was told the work was going to be around $1200. What happen to being honest in pricing.

I scheduled an appointment for a routine x-rays and cleaning using my insurance. I made sure they accepted the insurance I have. I arrived on time. It took them over an hour to see me. As soon as I entered the waiting room, the sales pitch began. There is so much upselling at this place... very unconfortable. I felt I was at a time sharing event or a used car dealer. I ended up walking out because they refused to do the basic cleaning. I do not recommend this place. UPDATE: The response from the owner lists a number for the "Quality Assurance Line", when infact it's just the main scheduling line. When asked if there is a QAL, I was told no. This is a very shady practice, I advise NO ONE to go there!!

Dr Robin and his dental technician were great. Very kind and explained everything. Took care of my situation quickly and gentle with my pain. The whole process was so much easier than I had expected. I’m very grateful for that issue to be resolved!

I highly recommend Coast Dental. They are all very professional and you can tell they just want to do a good job. Doctor and assistants were great, broke down what the plan for my teeth would be and weighed in on the pros and cons of certain plans. I didn't feel pressured into doing anything I didn't want. With that being said I'm getting work done next week.

Called in & booked an appointment to see a dentist (I'm having trouble with a tooth). Arrived early, but had to wait longer than I'd like to be seen. Was immediately whisked away for a series of x-rays, without having been evaluated by a professional yet or anyone deeming that new films were medically necessary. That process took awhile. Then I was greeted by a hygienist after another wait. Was quizzed about cleanings and such. Apparently they thought I was there for a cleaning. My most recent cleaning was July 24, 2023, I'm not due for another one yet, and at no point did I ever request a cleaning. I JUST needed a dentist to evaluate this one tooth and devise a care plan. The hygienist moved on to trying to push an oral cancer screening, and to sign a proposed care plan. I couldn't understand them or the plan, nor if it would even include what I wanted, which is for someone to just look at this one dang tooth. So I gave up on them & walked out. I wish they cared about losing a potential new patient. Seems like yet another dental office that just wants to pile on as many services as possible to get every penny out of you or your insurance that they can. Shoutout to the receptionist, who was the one shining light during an otherwise annoying visit. She seemed like the only one to genuinely care about me.

They cannot be worse, they look deeper into your budget than into your cavities, if you're looking to go shopping, that is the right place. With insurance, I paid more than 1k for stuff that I'm not even sure I needed and a 5-minute dental clean not to mention that they lost my order and didn't even pick up the phone to give me an explanation. ONE STAR IS NOT FEAR THEY DESERVE A -5

I was pleased with the office until they became under new management with new staff. The staff, including front desk were rude and inconsiderate. Messed up my insurance benefits after thoroughly discussing prior to my appointment. Left with a $400 bill but only had a cleaning appointment- basically was charging me for a diagnosis for something I did not have- once I got another opinion I realized this. Choose somewhere else.

I have never visited Coast dental. My experience with them was phenomenal! The doctor was very down to earth. All of his staff was very professional, courteous, and helpful. They all worked together and came up with a plan that not only remedies the problems I had but also fit my budget. Great team work! Excellent low cast plan. The front desk receptionist at check-in was very informative and made sure that everything was completed accurately and my insurance was going to cover half of my cost. I would recommend this dental office to everyone I know.💯👍❤️🤩

The staff was amazing and so was Dr. Robin. The front desk staff is super amazing and definitely made me feel welcomed and comfortable

My appointment was for 8:30 but did not get called in u til 8:45. Cleaing was fine and staff friendly. Prices on treatments seems high. I have some Insurance on basic treatments but needed antibiotics for gums and pricing seemed excessive.

Dr Matthew Robin and his dental assistant were the best. He was very kind and caring, he is gentle and made everything as easy as possible with my complex case. I highly recommend Dr.Robin. Office staff is great too!

I advise you to AVOID this practice at all cost. I work in the medical field so I am glad I did NOT get ripped off even though they tried really hard to do so. I just moved and my dental insurance is HMO so I had coast dental as my primary dental care. I set an appointment for regular checkups/ cleaning. After I went there, I realized the office is very old and dirty, that’s the first impression. But up until the X-ray part, everything is ok. Then the dental hygienist came and started poking my dental pockets forcefully so she can get bigger readings that indicate I have periodontitis. As a medical professional, I was surprised by the result because I have always had good dental health. I then asked how much this deep cleaning would cost, the dental hygienist then gave me a detailed statement that the deep cleaning and after cleaning treatment for $1079!!! I refused this treatment plan and said I want regular prophylaxis cleaning. The dentist via telehealth told me that as a patient I “DO NOT have that option” I then checked myself out and went to another dentist office. And not surprisingly, I was told I do not have periodontitis and I got a general cleaning for less than $100. So please save your time and go somewhere else.

Coast Dental never sent a claim to my dental insurance company. I paid $175 upfront. I spoke with my insurance and was told Coast Dental never sent them anything. So, I had to send my insurance the receipt for reimbursement. My insurance also tried and tried (2 diff. people at different times) calling them via 3-way call regarding the visit and they could not get a hold of anyone at this office. NEVER had I had to do something like this. Ridiculous! Also, staff did not introduce themselves except for the front desk lady who was very patient and kind enough to notify me of wait time. We waited 1 hr total since we arrived 20 mins early. The hygienist was not personable, could care less kind of attitude, rude and did not completely do her job. There was no dentist at the office, it was a telemed kind of visit with the dentist which took 1-2 mins. They said they don't have a dentist every Friday. The whole office, staff, with the exception of the front desk person, it was a horrible experience. That will be our first and last visit. I regret we even wasted that one visit there. I believe other reviewers after experiencing this myself because it is all true. I wish I had read the reviews before making an appt. It would've saved me all this trouble. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE!

Just had an issue with Greenburg Dental and I tried to send my child here due to it being another office under MCNA dental and I was told this office's dentist isn't able to take MCNA at all while another location on Bruce B Downs doesn't take it for children. It might be time to update your website considering there's a huge list of accepted dental plans and MCNA is clearly listed as one of them. Edit: I suggest making it an ACTUAL overview or getting on the same page.
