Be aware of the luggage lockers which don’t work but take your money. 4132 takes money doesn’t work and no return. Obviously the operator knows half the compartments don’t work, as I couldn’t see a number to call or report damage.

14 platforms, large station. Multiple underground layers. The interstate trains are on platforms 7 to 14, and the local trains are on 1 to 7.

Trains are good and efficient. The station itself is very dirty and not well kept. Good array of eateries for traveling. Definitely not one of Munich’s nicer stations.

Most luggage lockers are out of service... Very limited infrastructure, small number of ticket machines means you're often standing in line. Not really much place to sit and wait for your train

not friendly, too long time to wait in line for tickets cashier, the information point on platform is not filled by personnel, they are not garbage cans on platforms.

Only available public toilet requires a payment, no water fountains so you also need to purchase water.

Trains from this station often run late. Our train to Innsbruck was canceled without prior notice, although they later sent an email to inform us and apologize. The S8 line is currently not operational due to construction. I had always believed that Germans prioritize punctuality and perfection, but after experiencing this station, it seems that customer service takes a backseat.

Just break it down and build it again. Horrible, and really hard to know where you are, and how you can go out. Only if visit it on a daily basis you can understand how this station "works". The maps do not show where you are. Apart from that, it is really dirty and looks optically awful. You do not expect such horrible stations in Germany to be honest.

Not a particularly nice station and fix the lockers. Unacceptable and embarrassing when you bring out of town visitors and see such shoddy facilities

Those who will transfer to the airport should always follow the train times and platform information. There is always a rail-work, delay or platform change. I don’t recommend short-term transfers here.

Good train station. First time here but everything is easy to understand, platform to the airport & ticket machines - easy. Small food vendors and walkways were good.

Munich has an efficient and clean transit system. But to use effectively the ticketing kiosks requires knowledge of the network, e.g. stations and zones. Also the system does not ask upfront for the number of passengers. We wanted 2 tickets to the airport but the first one is correct but the second one is for just Zone 6. See photo below . Achtung! Achtung! Controllers check your tickets on the last leg to the airport. If you don't have the right tickets, you will be fined 60 Eur.

The station has a coffee automaat. A great thing for people using the station at night.
