Very nice restaurant with superb quality food and awesome personnel. Fresh meat and a traditional style of serving is their strenght. Feels very cozy to have a meal there and enjoy your evening. We were positively surprised by how fast the freshly prepared meal was served to us. It is not very expensive, but not the cheapest restaurant either and the latter is for a good reason. If you happen to be in Munich and want to have a taste of the Bavarian cuisine, outside of the touristic epicenter, this place is highly recommended. Don't forget to ask for the 'Odl' liquor, you won't regret it! One of the owners speaks English very well and can make you feel very welcome! I will definitely pay them a visit the next time I am in Munich.

Been there twice. Just had a dinner here. I think 5 stars are not enough to rate the friendliness of the staff and the taste of the food. It doesn't matter if you speak English or German.

Schinken-Peter sets the tone immediately: the moment you walk, you will be swept up in the warm atmosphere and rustic decor. In fact, it reminds me of a fancy wilderness lodge. The staff is extremely warm and attentive. Game is their game so I decided to have the Venison, which was oh so tender in a delicious gravy. My wife had the duck and it was better than any duck I had in Paris. In fact, only Peking and Cantonese duck is better in my opinion.

We decided to give this very authentic Bavarian restaurant a shot. When we got there it was packed and it was obvious that reservations were a must. Marcus immediately said he would try to fit us in. Soon, we were seated at a table and drinks were on the way. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was great and friendly.

Staying at ibis Hotel Süd in Munich for Oktoberfest we found this hidden gem to dine at on our first evening. Fantastic choice on the menu, great food, wonderful beer . I can definitely recommend a visit.

Just searching for lunch, met this local restaurant near my hotel. House beer and local food here is very yummy Cold cut are made from good ham, nice smell and a little bit salted Grilled sausages are good Grilled pork leg was well done with crispy skin, so i ordered more skin, very like it If you come to munich, come try local food here

If you want to go to a non tourist restaurant, this is the place! Food is good, portions generous, great choice of beers. Service is fast and precise, all waiters are very nice and polite. Price is reasonable. A MUST if you are in the area!!

What a place! Great schnitzel, really friendly service, and reasonably priced. We sat outside in the biergarten which was lit up nicely.

One of my favorite Bavarian restaurant. If I should rate it for internal design only I should give them 5 stars as it is very nice and cozy. Food is not bad but the menu is, unfortunately, quite small and you are almost "forced" you to take the same things over and over...

This must be one of Munich´s most authentic local restaurants. Such a great selection of cured hams and local cheese that they call “Brotzeit” in Bavaria. We also a filet of Pike-Perch -> crispy on the skin-side an succulent on the inside. Fantastic food and great service. Extremely good value for your money. Great recommendation.

Very friendly waiter. He even took the time to recommend me some Bavarian dishes and beer. Food is good and great location as it's near to the hotel I'm staying.

Cozy off the beaten track place. The emphasis here is very much on the restaurant side of things. I didn’t eat here but the food looked delicious and portions were large! Everyone I saw eating were complementary to the staff on the standard of the food. I will definitely return and eat here next time. Beers are Spaten and Franziskaner Weißbier. It’s worth putting yourself out for this one! One slight drawback is that I found it virtually impossible to get a phone signal of any quality here.

Great traditional bavarian food and beer. We stayed in Munich for the weekend and ate there twice and it was excellent both times and good value for money as well.

The service is really good. Drinks were fast and eventhough we got the wrong food, the mistake was corrected instantly. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating.

Not bad, not spectacular, just a traditional looking Bavarian beer hall that plays Christmas music in English. Their helles beer is Spaten, which would explain the missing star...

Awesome food & service!! A must taste in the area! Too bad we have no more days to re visit!!
