One of the worst visits I have ever had. Never again. The rudest café staff I have ever encountered. Went to buy chips and got a kid(Nico), with chip on his shoulder. Wasn't told when I paid for the high walk that I would need to pay Extra for the slide and another nine euros for the suspension bridge. No staff at the bridge. So if there was an accident or incident you were on your own. Not a very good safety and security policy. Counted over 20 people on the bridge the time I was there. That's well over 200€ in 30 minutes. But no staff. Not worth going back for.

A really great place to visit! The best way with Kids is to park your car in the City and use the Sommerseilbahn(Train) to come uphill. First you have to walk thru the trees by using the Baumwipfilpfad. At the end you will find this amazing observation deck. What a wonderfull view over the Schwarzwald!

Beautiful location and nice walk. I loved the learning stations set up along the pathway to the tower, and felt that the views through the forest were superior to the views from the top of the tower. It would have been nice to know that children under 6 are not allowed to ride the slide down before we began the walk. We had some very disappointed kids half way up the tower when we finally saw the signs. And even more disappointing was that the gorgeous playground at the bottom was not open for use.

Beautiful walk in early autumn. We drove to the Sommerberg parking only to find the train leaves from the town centre, it's cheaper to park in the town too.

Full of lush green. it was funny to see stones stacked, seemed like some sort of tradition. Amazing experience
