Loved this place. Beautiful lake with lots of ducks and very nice views.

Only a few minutes from the center (by tram) you’ll get engaged with this very untouched nature (protected area). Don’t forget to breathe as deep as possible!

Good for walking, cycling or sitting at a bank enjoying the view. There is also a restaurant next to the windmill. Only a little area for picnic which is located near kids playground

Clean, large and accessible nature park with 2 playgrounds for children und multiple picnic fields. In addition, a high class restaurant and event space next to the serene lake. Bike friendly and lots of different paths to walk along. Connects to Tiergarten, Kleefeld and Kirchrode. At the moment there is a small art installation made funded by a lady who wants to raise awareness of dementia. Beautiful wicker structures.

Big free park with different animals, like deer, roes, hares, boars, squirrels and so on. There are many benches, cut lawns and beautiful sceneries. Animals are not afraid of people, and you can observe them very close. There are a lot of stands with information about animals, their habits and environment. Visitors are not allowed to leave the pathways, feed animals and irritate them. City authorities take care about this place, so it is nice and cozy.
