Relaxing cafe environment for a dessert, meal, coffee, or all the above! Recently came back from a trip to Japan and missed the cuisine and this cafe is authentic. Our meal was served on a tray with a beautiful array of colours. The staff are also very kind and polite. I recommend the iced matcha latte and egg salad sandwich.

2023-01-07 We arrived on Saturday around 12PM. We liked their new layout, cozy design, relaxing music and atmosphere!!! We tired cappuccino, it’s good! They opened on Dec.18,2022; I want to try there spaghetti, curry rice, Japanese Sandwiches! Looks good! Breakfast menu is 8-11AM;

Newly opened restaurant but the service is excellent. I recommend trying curry and rice with hamburger steak!

Great coffee and attentive friendly service. The 93 Omarice really hit the spot - was exactly what I was craving and reminded me of lovely memories from Japan. Nice cafe atmosphere and lots of seating. Looking forward to visiting again!

Menu doesn't have much options right now because their new, but that's okay. Fun, new place to visit. I would eat here again The Omurice was tasty. The male server we had was very friendly and refilled water regularly. They have Japanese soda, which is one of my favorite drinks. Seems like a good place for anyone who wants to eat light before going to the beach or seawall

I recently discovered this hidden gem of a cafe, and I must say, it's a delightful find. The food here is absolutely scrumptious, offering a pleasant surprise for your taste buds. The cozy ambiance is particularly enchanting, especially when raindrops dance on the windows. It's the perfect spot for a tranquil and delicious escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Really great way to start the morning. Coffee was delicious, as it was pourover style. The eggs were soft and not too sweet, and the bread was perfectly toasted. Would definitely go there again if I can make my way back to Vancouver again.

The food was very authentic. Flavours of Japan. Delicious pasta sauce. Exquisite curry with delicate rice. Best of all, Tamago sandwich on daily house baked bread. Courteous and efficient service. Will return over and over again.

This is a lovely hidden cafe with lovely ambience and decor. The food is amazing!!! The staff are lovely and attentive. 10/10 cafe. The hot drinks are so nice and the food is so tasty and the portions are just right. A family run Japanese restaurant with simple menu and clean space. Food is freshly made and prepared with healthy mind. Off Denman on Comox, easy to miss. Definitely worth trying if you are downtown.

Came across this place while walking around Denman and was really happy I did. The matcha latte was amazing. High quality matcha. And the morning special was great too. Super friendly service and very accommodating. Couldn't believe they just opened up a few months ago!

Service was superb: very attentive, polite, and quick. The Omurice and Tamago sandwich were very good. Their cappuccino was great and the London Fog was quite good too. I guess this is a new business and I've noticed that they have some unused space reserved on the side. I'll definitely come back to check their next developments. Washrooms were spotless, perfectly clean.

After attempting, and mostly failing, to run a few lunchtime errands on Denman - I stumbled upon 93 Coffee I arrived in time to partake in the Morning Special - available until 11 am. With the purchase of a drink, you are able to order a meal set. I chose the onigiri 🍙 meal set with miso and tamagoyaki along with my 93 Coffee ☕️ Pour-over. The meal set was delicious and beautifully prepared. The onigiri 🍙 were seasoned perfectly and the tamagoyaki light and fluffy. The coffee itself is rich in flavour and expertly handled. Service was prompt, attentive, and extremely friendly. It is a spot that I definitely will be returning to.

If you're craving kissaten-style food, it's definitely a place to go. They have a reasonably priced lunch menu. The Napolitan dish was great, and the curry was also enjoyable. They offer matcha tiramisu, which I believe is made with milk loaf, but I wish it had been soaked in matcha syrup or something similar. It lacked flavor and was somewhat dry. It seems they also serve breakfast and toast portions, so I'd love to come back to try those. I ordered Vienna coffee just for the nostalgia, but I wish it had been stronger. Next time, I'll stick to my usual black coffee, either pour-over or americano!

Roomy interior, traditional Japanese café menu items to choose from. We had the napolitan and omelette curry, both were very DELICIOUS! Service was a little slow since there's only 2 staff and one of them is her first day working there. Great hidden gem!

A cozy Japanese cafe with Japanese food, tea and coffees and dessert. I really enjoyed the matcha and hojicha lattes which were delicious. I highly recommend this cute cafe to chill and relax.
