This is an update to my last post of this establishment. Since this place has been taken over by new owner again this year, prices on Thursday for has increased. While the food had flavor, their fresh muffins have suffered in quality. I use to love getting the fruit muffins like cranberry bran or Cinnamon Apple. However as you will see in these photos, fruit in the muffins is nearly non existent and what fruit is on the outside, it it's now flakes instead of whole fruit. This is a current photo of cranberry bran. As much as I liked coming here for my Saturday breakfast and coffee, I'm now ready to move on to something else since the owners are cutting corners on food quality. Update - Sep 2021 Since the old posting above, the cafe has changed ownership again. The current owners took over in early 2019 and made some changes First noticeable change was that they reduced prices when they took over. Second, they revised the menu slightly. Unfortunately, fresh sandwiches made on the fly are gone. They did expand their fresh salads though. All muffins are made with the same base unlike when I first visited this place back in 2007. The muffins were better than the last owner was making, just wish there was more fruit in the muffins that works have them (apple/oatmeal). Some seating has been lost since the start of covid for health and safety reasons, overall I'm back to having this place as my main goto coffee shop. Update August 2023 Well, the cafe has changed hands again. 🙄 There was a period of transition where one of the previous owners stayed on for a time to help the new owners learn the business. Over thee last month of two of typically visiting on Fridays and/or Saturdays, without the previous owner helping, the new owners and staff (I have a feeling all staff are family) struggle to get orders right and to keep up on simple orders like coffee orders to go. The young lady taking my order for two lattes both large ended up ringing in 1 medium and 1 large latte and 2 drip coffees (I said nothing about drop coffees). I also ordered 2 hangover sandwiches and to start one after 5 minutes (my wife was at another shop and was going to be late). Sandwiches both came out at same time but as a to go instead of eat in, and they didn't know who ordered them. I only caught onto this because the lady that rang them on the till had to go back to the till and look at past orders. (she had, by the way, yelled to the person in the kitchen that the order was for eat in when I ordered the sandwiches). We have experienced in the past wrong orders when we decided to as for our orders to go with the new owners. I have witnessed other patrons wait a long time for a latte because the gents who usually make the coffee seem to make one cup at a time and still manage to make the coffee orders wrong. My impression is that this family has never worked in a hospitality business. The lady ringing in orders on the till really need to "listen" to customer orders. If she had not asked me to look at the till to see that she had everything correct half my order would have been wrong. My advice for now, Watch the till to make sure order is correct. I am now going to bounce our Saturday sandwich and coffee to two other places where orders are correct the first time and if you want a brunch, cheaper too. I can get two brunches and two coffees at Sam's Pub for less than two hangovers and two large lattes (plain not flavored) at Cravings. If I see customer service get better at the till and see that the coffee orders or coffee making duties are being shared to get the drinks out faster I'll attended more regulary again and update this review again. Sep 2023 update. First time back since last posting. Ordered a cinnamon latte. Worst I've had. They missed something to give it the cinnamon flavour. The only hint of cinnamon is from the powder they had sprinkled on top.

My girlfriend and I come to Cravings almost every morning, Monday to Friday, and every time we are so happy with our purchase. The donuts are divine and, according to my GF, the tea and coffee are both good! They’ve got a solid selection of teas and the wide variety of donuts/drinks make for a fun new selection every Friday. Prices are solid as well. The egg and cheese sandwich is so far my favorite but I’m excited to keep trying more! The owner and his wife are very nice and kind, always welcoming us every morning. Give Cravings a try and support local business!

Randomly typed in "donuts" on Google maps yesterday and this place came up, and boy was it a fantastic surprise. For arriving late morning, they still had a decent selection of donuts, which from my sampling, are delicious and fluffy. Ordered 1/2 a dozen, because how can you just get 1 donut, a lemon muffin, and a GF Vegan Peanut Butter bar. Cannot comment on the muffin, as I look forward to having it later and the GF bar is for a family member but will definitely come back for another visit in the future!

Probably the best service I ever had in Langley after living in this town/city for almost 30 years. The service is authentic, warm, kind, and friendly. You can tell the difference between authentic hospitality and services that wants to earn your tips. The owner couple definitely have my family and mine respect and appreciation. We will definitely be back and looking forward to get more muffins, donuts, and coffee. We will also put more good words for this coffee shop to the people in Brookswood and Langley.

This was my second time visiting Cravings and I have to say staff are very friendly and welcoming. I had their delicious cinnamon donut and the lemon crackle muffin with a Spanish latte this morning. Great to see a large variety and selection of pastries and other food items on the menu. I am in love with this cute coffee shop.

So grateful for the owners of Cravings to have a local cafe in Brookswood - you can really sense the community they have built here. Honestly their barista skills are amazing, lattes always taste full of love and just proper measurements of ingredients. Donuts and baked goods are to die for. Food is tasty. And customer service is top notch. I always leave in a better mood because of this place. Thank you for the smiles and coffee!! 💗🙏

I have never been to this place yet, but a co worker just got me a muffin from here. After having this muffin it has now ruined all other muffins I have ever had. I now have a very high standard for muffins putting me in a position to only buy them from Cravings in Brookswood. Thank you for making very delicious muffins.

Decided to try them out for one of their lunch sandwiches. Walked in the door at 2:02pm and asked for a spicy chicken sandwich. The lady working tells me they only make sandwiches until 2pm. I ask what else they have for lunch and she points out the wraps in the display case. I ask for the chicken Thai wrap. She recommends it to be heated up which would be a 7 minute wait. I say ok and wait for it to be heated. They get really busy and 10 minutes or so go by. She takes the wrap out and it is clearly burnt. Black charred on half the wrap. I ask her if it is burnt and she says no and proceeds to cut the wrap and put in a takeout container. I take it to a nearby table and open up the container. The burned stench immediately filled the room. The lady in front of me says wow that is clearly burnt. I let the employee know this and she said no problem I can give you a free muffin. I said I don't need a free muffin just a sandwich or similar for lunch. She offers another wrap and asks for another 7 minutes to heat it up. I tell her I don't have the 7 minutes as I needed to get back to work. At 2:25pm I walk out with a cold wrap. I open it up when I am back at the office and it is soggiest, nastiest wrap I have ever seen. Looks like no lunch for me today. Super disappointed with this place.

Came here based on the reviews, definitely worth stopping by. Love the choices of donuts for what was left. Would come again. Had the cream cheese donut with an ice coffee 👍

A wonderful little coffee shop tucked in the heart of Brookswood in the Township of Langley. Stumbled upon this place and have been back multiple times to grab a caramel macchiato, delicious gourmet donuts, muffins and even a salad! I 100% recommend their donuts because they are so fresh, beautiful and tasty!!! Their flavours change a bit or sometimes sell out so it’s best to pre-order yours if you’re looking for a specific kind. By the way, they do themed donuts from time to time so you can check their Instagram for the latest and greatest. The atmosphere here is very nice and relaxing. Service from the owners is also wonderful. It’s really nice seeing the community continuously support small businesses (based on the line ups I saw in the mornings!) and I do hope more people visit Cravings. You’re in for a very nice treat when you go! Tons of pastries, drinks and more.

Such a cute cafe! My new favorite cafe at Brookswood 😊 the deco is so cute, owners and staff are friendly, and their baking is soo good. Ordered the blueberry streudel, cream cheese raspberry muffin, and sugar cinnamon donut. All were really good, but blueberry streudel is probably my favorite. Would 100% go again.

Love the hot food here. Coffee drinks are not strong but you can taste the quality. The baked goods are excellent. I enjoyed my grilled cheese & soup combo.

Best muffins in Langley. Maybe even the lower mainland! I will drive 20 minutes out of the way for a muffin from here. I am not the only one, as a lady from Delta was behind me in line also making the trip for muffins. It's hard to choose just one, so get a box for the family. Arrive early to avoid disappointment of not getting your favorite flavor, as it is a treasured spot for locals too.

Wow, what a beautiful cafe. The atmosphere is so welcoming and charming, and the folks behind the counter seemed very sweet, too! I had the Spanish latte and a cream cheese donut, so delicious! Cravings is about to become my new "spot", no doubt about it.

Very cute little cafe in town! Tried their muffins, donuts, and sandwiches, and they were all great. Can’t wait to come early next time and try their espresso muffin 😀 The owner and staffs were very friendly and their drinks were good too. Highly recommended 👍

So I would like to say that I am always trying to support local businesses especially during this pandemic and it was my first time here yesterday . Firstly the gentleman who helped me couldn't really be bothered to engage in simple friendly banter. I understand that most of us have lots on our plates but seriously at least smile when you are serving a customer who drove out of their way to try a new coffee shop. The latte and muffin were great but his enthusiasm for helping a customer was lacking . If you would like the general public to keep supporting your business then show your paying customers a little respect .. Thanks kindly for allowing me to express my thoughts . I have other local.coffee shops that I can support without the poor attitude.

We came, hearing of doughnuts! And even mid afternoon, there were the last doughnuts of the day. They looked nice, but expectations were not super high... We were delightfully surprised. The Apple Fritter was delicious - sweet, perfectly cooked, nice balance of apples and cinnamon. It tied with the cream cheese doughnut for top status. The dough is delicious and soft, not stale. Lightly sweet and quite possibly the best yeast dough we've tasted in all of Surrey, Langley or Abbotsford. The others we tried here were the maple bacon, lemon cream, rainbow sprinkle and sour cream glazed. Will have to come back to try other varieties sometime! Highly recommend.

Tried the breakfast wrap -it was okay, a little bland just filled w/ plain boiled potato and egg... hangover sandwich was really good. Iced London fog was nice flavor wise but too watered down. And the Earl Grey donut was soft but the icing lacked flavor, was more of a classic glaze taste.

Boy I don't like giving negative reviews to independent businesses run by clearly nice people. Their donuts might be amazing, I only have tried a couple muffins, sandwich and coffee. Muffins nothing special, sandwich was fine, nice bread, but for price wasn't moved. I'm a coffee 1st person and theirs is by far the worst I've had in Langley from anywhere you'd presume would do it right. It was my first coffee of the day. I don't remember the last time I couldn't finish an Americano and had to pour it out. I still give 3 stars because if good coffee isn't your thing and you love nice people and good presentation and donuts, they have some fine looking ones that might be delicious.

Great little coffee shop in Brookswood offering donuts, croffles, muffins and of course coffee! Donuts are soft and chewy and are made fresh daily. Get there early as these sell out pretty quick. Croffles are crispy on the outside and soft and buttery on the inside. I make sure to get a croffle everytime I go there. Took away a star for the muffins. The ones I've purchased were a little dry.
