This
is
an
update
to
my
last
post
of
this
establishment.
Since
this
place
has
been
taken
over
by
new
owner
again
this
year,
prices
on
Thursday
for
has
increased.
While
the
food
had
flavor,
their
fresh
muffins
have
suffered
in
quality.
I
use
to
love
getting
the
fruit
muffins
like
cranberry
bran
or
Cinnamon
Apple.
However
as
you
will
see
in
these
photos,
fruit
in
the
muffins
is
nearly
non
existent
and
what
fruit
is
on
the
outside,
it
it's
now
flakes
instead
of
whole
fruit.
This
is
a
current
photo
of
cranberry
bran.
As
much
as
I
liked
coming
here
for
my
Saturday
breakfast
and
coffee,
I'm
now
ready
to
move
on
to
something
else
since
the
owners
are
cutting
corners
on
food
quality.
Update
-
Sep
2021
Since
the
old
posting
above,
the
cafe
has
changed
ownership
again.
The
current
owners
took
over
in
early
2019
and
made
some
changes
First
noticeable
change
was
that
they
reduced
prices
when
they
took
over.
Second,
they
revised
the
menu
slightly.
Unfortunately,
fresh
sandwiches
made
on
the
fly
are
gone.
They
did
expand
their
fresh
salads
though.
All
muffins
are
made
with
the
same
base
unlike
when
I
first
visited
this
place
back
in
2007.
The
muffins
were
better
than
the
last
owner
was
making,
just
wish
there
was
more
fruit
in
the
muffins
that
works
have
them
(apple/oatmeal).
Some
seating
has
been
lost
since
the
start
of
covid
for
health
and
safety
reasons,
overall
I'm
back
to
having
this
place
as
my
main
goto
coffee
shop.
Update
August
2023
Well,
the
cafe
has
changed
hands
again.
🙄
There
was
a
period
of
transition
where
one
of
the
previous
owners
stayed
on
for
a
time
to
help
the
new
owners
learn
the
business.
Over
thee
last
month
of
two
of
typically
visiting
on
Fridays
and/or
Saturdays,
without
the
previous
owner
helping,
the
new
owners
and
staff
(I
have
a
feeling
all
staff
are
family)
struggle
to
get
orders
right
and
to
keep
up
on
simple
orders
like
coffee
orders
to
go.
The
young
lady
taking
my
order
for
two
lattes
both
large
ended
up
ringing
in
1
medium
and
1
large
latte
and
2
drip
coffees
(I
said
nothing
about
drop
coffees).
I
also
ordered
2
hangover
sandwiches
and
to
start
one
after
5
minutes
(my
wife
was
at
another
shop
and
was
going
to
be
late).
Sandwiches
both
came
out
at
same
time
but
as
a
to
go
instead
of
eat
in,
and
they
didn't
know
who
ordered
them.
I
only
caught
onto
this
because
the
lady
that
rang
them
on
the
till
had
to
go
back
to
the
till
and
look
at
past
orders.
(she
had,
by
the
way,
yelled
to
the
person
in
the
kitchen
that
the
order
was
for
eat
in
when
I
ordered
the
sandwiches).
We
have
experienced
in
the
past
wrong
orders
when
we
decided
to
as
for
our
orders
to
go
with
the
new
owners.
I
have
witnessed
other
patrons
wait
a
long
time
for
a
latte
because
the
gents
who
usually
make
the
coffee
seem
to
make
one
cup
at
a
time
and
still
manage
to
make
the
coffee
orders
wrong.
My
impression
is
that
this
family
has
never
worked
in
a
hospitality
business.
The
lady
ringing
in
orders
on
the
till
really
need
to
"listen"
to
customer
orders.
If
she
had
not
asked
me
to
look
at
the
till
to
see
that
she
had
everything
correct
half
my
order
would
have
been
wrong.
My
advice
for
now,
Watch
the
till
to
make
sure
order
is
correct.
I
am
now
going
to
bounce
our
Saturday
sandwich
and
coffee
to
two
other
places
where
orders
are
correct
the
first
time
and
if
you
want
a
brunch,
cheaper
too.
I
can
get
two
brunches
and
two
coffees
at
Sam's
Pub
for
less
than
two
hangovers
and
two
large
lattes
(plain
not
flavored)
at
Cravings.
If
I
see
customer
service
get
better
at
the
till
and
see
that
the
coffee
orders
or
coffee
making
duties
are
being
shared
to
get
the
drinks
out
faster
I'll
attended
more
regulary
again
and
update
this
review
again.
Sep
2023
update.
First
time
back
since
last
posting.
Ordered
a
cinnamon
latte.
Worst
I've
had.
They
missed
something
to
give
it
the
cinnamon
flavour.
The
only
hint
of
cinnamon
is
from
the
powder
they
had
sprinkled
on
top.
