This place is just awesome. I visited this restaurant 9 years ago and I made a recent return. Visit. The food the people were just awesome. I had the samosas and a platter with lamb curry butter chicken and it was oh so good. I would have to say it is the best Indian food that I've had in Europe. This would be my go-to place whenever I want Indian food and I am in Berlin . Do yourself a favor and if you have a desire for Indian food. Do yourself a favor and go here.

A very good Indian place. Located 3 blocks from KaDeWe, far enough not to have the crowd, but close enough to have dinner in. We lived in a hotel near by and came for dinner. I will save this place in my favorites list and definitely coming back

Literally the most authentic indian restaurant I have eaten in Europe. On top, they served Mutton haddi which and other Mutton dishes which are really Mutton, not lamb like in other Indian restaurant. Dum Biryani is also one of the best. I literally felt so emotional to have eaten here and the nostalgia brought back memories of India. Oh, and they also serve real Chapati! On top, the staff is super friendly and service is top class. Although it is one hour from my home, I still make sure to eat here once every two weeks, or when I am missing authentic Indian food. Must recommended if you fancy authentic Indian food.

A magical experience with excellent service and amazing food. I would highly recommend the biryani as it is one of the best in Berlin. The food is very authentic and a lot of care if given for the presentation. 10/10 would go again.

Honestly I’ve had Indian food all over Berlin, but no other restaurant even comes this close to match the taste of the food that this restaurant offers. Wir haben das Restaurant durch Zufall entdeckt und dachten wir probieren es mal aus. Es gibt genügend Auswahl und das Essen hat sehr frisch geschmeckt. Nur bitte darauf achten, dass „sehr scharf“ auch wirklich sehr scharf ist. Der Service war super nett und hilfreich. Uns wurde sogar das übrig gebliebene Curry eingepackt und noch etwas Reis zusätzlich gegeben. Von der Atmosphäre ist es etwas zu hell vom Licht für meinen Geschmack. Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Abend und man wird definitiv satt und ist zufrieden!

The food was simply delicious! The garlic naan warm, fluffy and crispy on top: exactly as you want it to be! They offer a large selection of typical Indian dishes and we had a tough time choosing since everything looked so good. The service was very friendly and nice. It isn’t the cheapest place to go but worth the money :)

Der Service und Empfang war sehr nett. Der Chef hat mich sehr gut beraten und mit mir zusammen ein wirklich leckeres Gericht rausgesucht. Die Anrichteweise ist recht einfach und meiner Meinung nach fehlt Naan zum Hauptgericht. Das Ambiente ist eher zweckmäßig und lädt nicht zum längeren Verweilen ein. Außerdem war es etwas kühl im Gastraum.

The first thing I noticed when coming in to this place was the atmosphere. The decor of the venue is inspired by Indian art and music. It stays true to the theme. The food itself was on point. It was a delight being served by Vini. Looking forward to coming back here soon.

It is one of the best restaurants in Germany that I have visited. The food was excellent; I was served mutter paneer, which was quite soft and fresh. The owner was extremely friendly. I would recommend that everyone go and savour true Indian cuisine. I hope to see you again soon.

The food was delicious. Very well made. The menu has a lot of information about the food and was avalable in english. The service was great! Very nice people who seemed to enjoy their job. There are a lot of vegan options! Overall, very nice and will visit again if I'm in Berlin again!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

I still cannot believe I could eat authentic Hyderabadi DUM biryani in Germany, actually anywhere in Europe. Not the bland excuse of an biryani with raisins and almond slivers ,but the real thing with loads of ghee, real Desi flavours, masala and succulent, juicy tasty meat. It is priced a bit steep ( €19,90 ) at least on delivery platforms, but trust me it is worth every penny. Please never stop making this or compromising on the indian-ness of your biryani.

A masterpiece of Indian food in Berlin. Explosion of flavours, excellent prices and astonishing quality and service. I have lived in "the curry mile" in Manchester and never tried so many tasty dishes (2 nights in a row) of this food. Highly recommendable!

After reading positive reviews, I went to this restaurant and the food was good was in taste but quantity compared to the pricing is very less. Only one bhatura in the plate for 2 people. Interior is good but surely can be improved. Servers were nice and the food was also served in time.

Great experience of food Resonable price I had chicken tikka masala and samoosa vegetables with cheese naan The samosa was below standards , just. Ok and normal but not the usual proper samoosa of india so i wont recommend it Cheese naan also was not ok had no cheese in it came very plain and little dropped small shredwd cheese on top only , had no cheese at all otherwise so i wont recommend it at all to be honest especially for those who like properly cheesy bread naan If you like it this way DO NOT ORDER THIS But the chicken tikka masala was so nice yummy and delirious I loved it and enjoyed it The waiter asked me if i wanted it Indian spicy or mild only i told her Indian spicy biut it came Too spicy Lol hahah So if you can not tolerate much spicy tell them mild spiciness only Atmosphere is ok not bad Their Pepsi/soft drinks is not in a can , but they serve it in a glass which i don’t personally like So i asked them to bring an alternative in a can which i cleaner to me

EXCELLENT Indian food with classic flavors and several dishes that aren’t often found outside of India. All sauces were cooked to perfection. Naan and rice were delicious. Great drink selection too!

Excellent food with kind owner and staffs. Whenever I think to eat outside, this restaurant comes first to my mind. Highly recommend to all who wish to taste Indian foods and snacks. Though they also serve German foods but I never tried.

Amazing food and service! We had a great time and the food was very affordable. The meat was very tender and really well seasoned. After a whole day of exploring Berlin this was a great meal to end the day with.

If you are a fan of Indian food. You should not miss the taste of food here. Employees are good service, fast, don't have to wait long. Lovely people, flavors are on point and delicious, but the texture of the chicken used in the chicken dishes is very off-putting. I was wondering if it was cooked at first...it was strangely soft yet rubbery at the same time. Is it microwaved frozen chicken? I cook chicken often and in all the possible ways and have never encountered chicken of this texture before. I'm not much of a red meat eater so I guess, if I come back it'll have to be vegetarian or fish...though I hope the fish doesn't face the same fate..

Hands down the best Rogan Josh I've ever had!! The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are helpful, friendly and speak multiple languages. The prices are reasonable. The menu is extensive, something to please every palate and they have a wide selection of drink choices. The staff also took care to ask how spicy we wanted our dishes and prepared them accordingly. 11/10 experience, can highly recommend this place!

Very good, freshly prepared food. Portions are just right and do not overwhelm or imply mass production. Lentil soup tops even the excellent garlic soup. Bhatura is crispy, still not too fatty. The mutton cashew curry is super creamy and the palak paneer takes the cake with wonderful seasoning.

One of the most incredible and tasty Indian meals I’ve had in my life. Better than anything in Europe or the states. The butter chicken was fragrant, flavorful and the chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Incredibly friendly service and great value. Would highly recommend.

The welcome by the restaurant owner was very warm and friendly. The services were prompt and the quality of food is better than any Indian restaurant in Berlin we have tasted so far. The place is kids friendly and the staff took care the kids requirements very well. The prices are reasonable and quality is sufficient. Overall we have a home like experience in the resturant. Excellent food pure indian desi taste

This place is located in a great neighborhood of Berlin and has absolutely one of the best Indian dishes I have ever tried. In a 5 day trip to Berlin, I ate dinner at Maharadscha twice and both times the place was filled with people. I was well served by the staff, the food came quickly, and it was simply delicious. There is indoor and outdoor sitting and the environment is cozy. I highly recommend. No complaints just gratitude.

I had the dal makni and shahi paneer and it was out of this world. The naan was very thin and fresh, just as it should be. I also had desi chai which hit the spot... I'm here on a work trip and have been missing my chai time so to have it here was great. Thank you for an enjoyable experience! We really loved the food :)

I was staying in Berlin for 4 nights and had to have dinner here twice. It was some of the best Indian food I've had. Great service, reasonable prices and fair portions. I will be back!

Das Restaurant lässt von außen nicht viel erwarten. Das ändert sich allerdings sofort, wenn man vom sehr engagierten Besitzer im Empfang genommen und bis zum Verlassen exzellent versorgt wird. Die Gerichte sind sehr schön gewürzt, das Fleisch zart auf dem Punkt. Da schmeckt man die Handwerkskunst. Das macht das eher schlichte Ambiente mehr als wett.
