Delicious food and nice service, always like the rose lychee prawn 🦐👍🏻 & their pickled gherkins are just perfect!

I’ll give 5 stars to the service, and probably 2 star for the food. I ordered the chefs menu with pairing wines. The soup was really salty, to the point that it’s way too salty for me to drink. The other materials and flavours were really average, and I chewed out a piece of bone out from the rib… wine selection was somehow good. Service was really attentive, but slow, I waited more than 30 minutes for one single piece of prawn…I would give this place 1 star if this was in Australia, but in Germany, the service added 2 stars for this experience

Update: recently service has degraded as team was always understaffed, while prices have hiked. While the location is quite un-hip, the food is reliably good brassiere food with a fun twist. Sauces tend to reveal the typical Tim Raue influence. Nice neighborhood restaurant also with a nice lunch menu.

Stylish restaurant with just the right mix of modernism and classical bistro elements. We came for the set lunch menu, la table dressée, and were not disappointed. Charming service, a very pleasant overall vibe, and above all, a delicious selection of French tapas. To top it off, a nice selection of very fairly priced wines by the glass. Highly recommended for a real nice lunch!

Wonderful experience. The food I had were all very delicious. Would recommend the 2+2+2 oysters and the Garnele Marocian. The service was excellent. The waitress was super nice and friendly. She’s also very knowledgeable about wines and rums.

Sehr exklusives, leckeres Lokal in großer Wohlfühlatmosphäre.

I’m torn about giving this place a 3 star. The service was fantastic, everyone greeted us when we came in and the wait staff was so patient and positive. It felt like a really good ambiance. I didn’t take pictures of the environment but it was well designed to be good to socialize but not too dark that you’ll just fall asleep. But the food, at least the choices I made that night wasn’t good. Let’s start with my entree. I ordered the lamb shank and frankly I could not finish it. I don’t ever recall not being able to finish restaurant food unless I’m full. The shank was incredibly salty and I was only able to finish 3/4 of it. I tried but just couldn’t continue. I ordered the seafood soup for the appetizer and it was also very sAlty. That might have been okay on its own but the two dishes combined was full of salt. Take it with a grain of salt (pun intended) and don’t try the same things or combination I did — you might find that your experience will be much improved.

Good food and friendly professional service. Enjoyable. Lighting could be improved. Not easy to read the menu and a dulll grey looking light detracts from what could be a relaxing space.

If there was the option I would give it 4 1/2 stars because it really good, but not perfect. However our Chilean waitress was extremely friendly and that doesn’t deserve just 4 stars. Highlight was the side salad of the pulpo. I would have preferred the lobster not to be fried and most and foremost: both starters were covered in coriander cress which was overpowering other flavors.

Great place to eat good food. We had the lunch offer, which was great value, and really good tasting menu of interesting dishes, and some oysters, also good. Service is great, only bottled beer but an extensive wine list. Probably should have tried the classics but overall not a bad experience.

An elegant brasserie located on a quiet street serving delicious, seasonal french cuisine and wines. The interiors are dark panelled and warmly lit with simple wood and marble furniture and feels elegant but cozy. You have your privacy but still feel like a part of the restaurant. The service is curt, friendly and professional. The staff is very knowledgeable and will ensure that you have a good time! The menu is concise, simple and very well put together. There's a little bit for everyone! They have an extensive wine list that pairs well with the food. The food itself was executed to perfection. The dishes were put together very well and manage to showoff the French cuisine very elegantly. Overall, the brasserie is a an excellent place to go to for dates or quieter times with family and friends!

The wait staff was very nice and helpful. Although at the end was a little hard to get attention for either dessert or the check. For food the oysters were very tasty as was the bouillabaisse. The French onion soup was only okay. The artichoke itself was good, although just boiled, but didn’t like any of the sauces, all quite sweet. The steak frites was delicious, but the halibut was really over cooked and also didn’t like the sauce, also very sweet. Definitely feel like the French cuisine was much more geared toward German palate since so much was so sweet. Overall was pretty disappointed in the food, while I still want to try Tim Raue’s main restaurant I hope it does have more Asian and French fusion and is better than this one.

Gerne wieder.

Given the prices, you'd expect better. The dishes are good but we are not surprised. I'm not even speaking about the appetizer....bread and butter! A treasure of originality! The portions are way too small. A good point for the wine.

A wonderful experience, super service, quality products and the food was very well prepared. Choice of wines was of very high level. Of course on this price level is normal to be a bit harder on the criticism. Found the lentils to overpower the lamb dish. Same applies to the tombinampour consomme with the delicate Camembert with truffles. The Bouef Bourguignon was not at the same level as the other dishes. This is of course personal taste. Certainly a restaurant to recommend for the stronger wallet.

The restaurant inside is beautiful and with a lot of attention to detail. The service was quite chaotic when i was there in a sense that it didn’t seem sure who is responsible for the table. The king prawn with pistachio and beet carpaccio is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately we had to send back one of the main dishes as it came cold; we were told even if they remake it it wouldn’t change anything. Overall expected more by the overall experience at that price level.

Absolute DIVINE experience!!! Took my husband to Brasserie Colette for his 30th birthday last Saturday and we selected the tasting menu "Tim Raue". There was flexibility for interchanging the dishes (we chose different desserts - the cheese board was sublime!!). Each course was magnificently presented, perfectly cooked, and served at the right pace. The star of the show for us was the venison, with special mention to the pine nut ice cream (!!!) that was served with the crème brûlée. We were offered an apéritif to celebrate my husband's birthday, as well as a digestif at the end of the meal. Along the tasting menu, there was also homemade bread (with the most addictive charred crunchy crust) with butter and pickles. The attentiveness and friendliness of the waiter who attended to us elevated the experience even further. We also enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, it is a very elegant venue and classy music was played at the ideal volume. Overall, we felt spoilt and indulged for the whole three hours we were there. Thank you so much!!!

Gerne wieder😊

A polished French brasserie. Entrecote 'rare' is just that. Portions are not large. Chocolate mousse is unusual but decent. Wine list also good. Service efficient and cordial.

Just change my review from 5 to 4 stars. The waiter “forgot” to bring my change, funny enough it was going to be his tip. It was only 9€ change what he forgot, waited for him to tell him but he was busy. He did have time to charge us take the money then bring us the ticket and another business ticket back, just not the change, hahaha Food wise is very good, ups and downs but good I keep on coming back Oysters are delicious Today we had the lobster club sandwich! Really nice, their lemonade is also good as nonalcoholic option. I’ll be back. Ohhh and the salted caramels they give you at the end of the meal are delicious

Nice restaurant. Prices are in line with the quality of the food, which is very good but not perfect. But that's why it's a brasserie and not a Michelin star restaurant. Service is very friendly and suitable to the venue but a bit on the slow side. Overall a good place for a very nice meal. I'd go again.

We had the most wonderful experience dining at Brasserie Colette during a trip to Berlin this week. It could not have been a more perfect experience from start to finish! Discussing menu options for our group - really nice touch to print our selection on the placemats, by the way - and getting expert advice on the perfect wines to accompany the dishes went perfectly in advance and via mail. Upon arriving we immediately knew we made the right decision in choosing this place as it is very tastefully designed, furnished and decorated. The food - from the jar of pickled gherkins during aperitif until the fabulous dessert - was simply amazing. We had pulpo, roast beef, zander, cote de boeuf and every single dish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. All of this - and this is the most important part - was taken to an even higher level of excellence thanks to the amazing and delightful floor staff. A huge thank you to Michael, Maria and the rest of you for giving us such a great time! Definitely visiting you again :-)

best dining experience i’ve had in Berlin for years and years. first class service. drinks were on point. the food was a concert of flavours and textures. presented very well too. bit bullshitty when booking a table. they made out they were busy and could just about squeeze us in but the place was pretty empty when we got there. this didn’t detract from the evening but I would say it’s safe to walk in during the week. note when asked they did serve tap water but I’d focus on the Chablis if I were you, it was the best I’ve tasted. top tip: go for the Hummer club sandwich. i’m still dreaming of it! oh and it’s nowhere near as expensive as you may imagine. it’s a fair price for an exquisite meal.

A very pleasant discovery. An excellent bistrot. Friendly service, young and dynamic. A warm and easy going yet classy atmosphere. The food was just amazing. Quality products generousely composed and mixed to tastefully revisit the bistronomic repertoir. One of the best restaurants of its kind in Berlin. Can only recommand.

Brasserie Colete is a stunning French brasserie led by Michelin-starred chef Tim Raue. It is located close to Berlin’s most famous department store, the KaDeWe, Tiergarten and Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. We loved the stunning interiors of the brasserie with antique mirrors, copper lighting and pharmacist cabinets by the bar. The yellow and turquoise cushions on the seating gave the venue a vibrant, bright atmosphere. We started with a glass of Champagne Cuvee Colette (Adam Mereaux) (€14), the perfect start to the meal. We opted for the set lunch menu offering 2 courses for €20 and 3 courses for €26. From the starters, we loved the Salad Meslun with Roquefort, grape, walnut & balsamico. I am not a big salad lover but this was a perfect summery dish and the combinations of the ingredients worked perfectly. The Artichoke dish was new to us. We were served with a whole artichoke where you peel off the leaves and dip them into one of the three accompany dips, almost sucking out the artichoke. It was certainly unique and nothing like I have seen in London. The dips of crème fraiche, saffron mayonnaise and parsley vinaigrette were delightful. Once we had peeled off all the layers, we were left with the heart which we could also dip! On to the mains, we chose the Croque Madame: Brioche, ham, egg, truffles & fries and the Suckilng Pig (€3 supplement) with Navette, dashi & mustard. Their take on the croque madame was fantastic – the perfect creaminess level paired well with the truffle. The Suckling Pig was so tasty – the pork was tender and moist and the crisp texture of the skin was a great contrast. With our mains we had an Aperol Spritz (I know not very French or German!) (€12) and a fantastic Black Print Markus Schneider 2017 red wine (€14). To finish we had the Madelines (eggnog & coffee dip) off the special menu and the Tarte au Citron yuzu, meringue & crumble from the a la carte menu (€10). Brasserie Colette is a fantastic restaurant in Berlin offering French cuisine with a twist. The service from Stefan was professional and friendly and he gave us tips for bars for our visit. The lunch menu is great value, particularly given how stunning the food is.

Relatively good service. Employees did an effort to be friendly. However I have to say that I was not satisfied with the quality of the beef - it didn't taste fresh to me... The rest and the wine were tasty.
