    When we moved in six weeks ago from out of state, cockroaches and mouse waste were found in my apartment on day one. We also have a living mouse intruder that I've seen three times in the past month and it has gotten into my dog food. My gas oven doesn't work. Nothing has been addressed, no calls back or anything. Also worth noting, pizza places don't deliver out here after 5pm. This is still livable for me, but they've made a very bad impression so far. EDIT 10/8/19: My whole stove doesn't work now so I'm eating out of the toaster oven. This is luxury! EDIT 2/7/2020: My stove top works again, but not my oven. A lot of the reviews on this complex are FAKE.

    It’s been good this far the only thing is they really don’t answer the phones and it’s a little unorganized but other than that everything is good they answer questions take care of situations as you advise them but Terri jones is definitely amazing she gets it done seriously she’s the one you talk to and the only thing I need them to stay on top of is my roof being fixed as well other than that I’m good here me n my hubby

    I moved out of this place a while ago, but I can honestly say it's the worst. The house I had was a disaster, at one point there was a leak coming from the bathroom abouve my kitchen which eventually led to the ceiling leaking snd then caving in. It took months them to repair the ceiling and when they did they put no tarps down and got dry wall dust all over my kitchen. I had to throw away so much food. Another time they let sewsge flood my basement for 3 days before they did anything. Stay away from this place. Management will act friendly at first but the moment you poing out anything wrong you're calling them a slumlord snd you're sn awful person.

    In constant disrepair. I was promised before moving in that my screen door, bathroom window, and shower faucet would be repaired before I moved in. I have lived here for six months and they have yet to do so. I had no mail on key for weeks until I paid for my own copy of am older key. Never was reimbursed. Receptionist makes up her own hours always arriving late and leaving early. Never rent here unless desperate.

    I've been here for one month now without working water, even without shelves in my pantry so all my food is in bags. I've been promised multiple times that I would have my problems fixed when in fact after "maintenance" came they made the situation worse leading to water pouring all over my $1,600 washer and dryer. The man said he would come back with a bucket at least and NEVER did. Finally a "plumber" was sent out and they made my kitchen sink drain water straight into the cabinet, then into my basement. When I called emergency maintenance TWICE over the weekend I was not surprised when I didnt recieve a call back but more in belief that I will have to be contacting my lawyer about getting out of this hell. I cannot wash dishes, clothes, properly shower, wash my hands, or even cook in my own house because of lack of communication and ANYTHING being properly done, especially not in a timely manner. If I were you I'd stay away from here and do your research, unfortunately I didn't until after I moved in. Search this place on Google and you'll see they should have been shut down a long time ago, pink slips were issued and I wouldn't be at all in shock if I'm staying in a house that is not safe to be lived in. Do not be fooled by the smiles and the small talk when coming to consider renting here, all communication and sense of civility quickly evaporates after you sign the lease. The Property manager at the office literally ignored me while she smoked her cigarette and talked to someone else then began to walk into the office, only then did she very vaguely acknowledge that she knew why I was there and told me "it'll be taken care of". Not only was I offended to be shrugged off as if I didnt matter nor did any of my problems, but I felt her attitude and rolling of her eyes to be even more distasteful and uncalled for. You're a paycheck here, I can see it for myself and I've had current residents explain to me that they've been waiting themselves for small things to be done so when it comes to emergencies I should expect even more procrastination. If I could have given no stars I would have. I'm in a horrible situation and being that I've only been here for exactly one month, I cant say I want to be here much longer at all. I fear going to the leasing office especially now after Jennifer made me feel as if me living in unsafe conditions was normal although I've been nothing but nice to her. Hopefully something will be done but in the mean time I guess lawyering up is the only option available.

    I only give stars because the property manager is cool. Otherwise this place is a wreck. My living room window rattles which means there’s a gap. It sounds like someone’s banging on my window at any gust of wind. The windows are ice cold because they’re so old and falling out of the walls. Best part is they don’t lock. Even my doors have gaps, which I reported on my move in slip but it was ignored along with the windows. Definitely making my electric bill high. The pic shows that snow came into my kitchen through the obvious door gap. Not the first time. Monarch property management needs to step it up and has a lot of work to do. Unfortunately, I just moved in, in August so I’ve gotta make do. 🤦‍♀️ Pay a little more for a safer area than South Lansing.

    The apartment is nice and cozy and the new ownership really does care and that shows. From the grounds keeping to keeping up with work orders. I stayed there for a year and had no issues other than a couple of neighbors. But overall it was a nice apartment for my family and I. I moved out due to getting a home. I would recommend living here.

    The maintenance team is very professional, friendly, and go out of their way to help in ways that they don't have to. I would give five stars, but the landlord for Carolina does not seem very friendly, helpful, or communicative. She ignores most of our messages and calls. This is in stark contrast to the Lansing area manager, Nedra, who was very helpful and got things done. We ended up waiting three weeks for maintenance, and had to get in contact with Nedra before maintenance showed up within 30 minutes.

    My central air went out and I called and left a message. Less than 24 hours I recieved a call and they were on top of it. Gave me a portable ac for 1 day then fixed my central air the next. Dale was the technician and it’s like it wasn’t broken. Hillary and brook are amazing. This is going on my second year here. I would definitely recomend. It’s even quite here surprisingly even with my child bouncing off the walls most of the time. Friendly neighbors as well!!

    I am giving 5 stars only due to the great customer service treatment I always get from Nidra. Ever since I have had help from her, she has been respectful, honest, and super helpful! I appreciate her attentiveness in listening to my questions/concerns and doing what she can to assist me whenever I go to her. I decided to renew my lease for another year. When I received my new lease payment, I noticed I had some unknown charges, which caused me some confusion and stress. As my recent experience going into the leasing office, I appreciated she was available, gave me her full attention to discuss my concerns and took the time to look at my account and review the charges. She explained all the information I needed to know, provided me with additional resources, and even made the necessary corrections. She was able to put me more at ease and just appreciated the time! I have had several issues with my townhome maintenance-wise; it can be very upsetting when they take a while to repair a problem. But I am happy with her services offering to be a text away is very convenient especially as I am available for a limited amount of time while the office is open.

    Still don't have any bad complaints. Whenever I have a problem, Nedra the property manager handles it as soon as I bring it to her attention and I'm glad they have a good property manager like her.

    I love living here the only thing is if Section8 is late paying there portion of the rent I get a statement saying that my portion is going up for late fees because they was late paying their portion Inception it is always late with there portion so why hassle me
