I
could
never
say
enough
good
things
about
this
place!
I
brought
my
three
kids
ages
6,4,2
years
to
see
Dilsburg
castle
from
one
hour
away,
only
to
find
it
to
be
closed
when
it
should
have
been
open.
I
had
seen
this
place
on
our
walk
to
the
castle
and
decided
to
treat
the
kids
to
some
chocolate.
Upon
entry,
you
see
a
counter
window
case
with
all
sorts
of
treats
-
cookies,truffles,
cakes,
pies
-
on
the
left
and
some
jarred
sauces
and
whatnot
on
tables
on
the
right.
From
here
you
can
see
a
second
room
with
three
tables
and
another
counter
display
containing
many
kinds
of
cheeses,
surrounded
by
bottles
of
wine
-
all
of
it
in
a
beautiful
arrangement
supplemented
by
seasonal
decor
(pumpkins
and
fall
colors
on
this
September
2022
day!).
We
were
helped
by
a
woman
who
spoke
wonderful
English
and
turned
out
to
be
the
owner,
and
ordered
apple
juice
and
cake
for
the
kids
and
a
glass
of
wine
for
myself
(it
was
too
late
in
the
day
for
the
cappuccino
she
suggested).
She
found
out
about
our
experience
with
the
castle
and
even
called
them
to
confirm
they
were
closed
for
us,
gave
us
some
sightseeing
suggestions
in
the
village,
and
was
just
so
kind
to
my
kids.
They
loved
the
cake
and
I
loved
the
atmosphere.
The
seating
area
is
quite
small
but
that
made
it
cozier.
I
purchased
some
beautiful
gourmet
looking
chocolate
bars
with
fruits
and
nuts
in
it
as
well
as
liquor-infused
truffles
☺️
The
bathrooms
downstairs
were
the
prettiest,
cleanest
bathrooms
I
have
ever
seen
(not
something
I’d
ever
thought
I’d
write
in
a
review).
They
accepted
credit
cards,
and
while
the
prices
were
a
bit
steep,
it
was
a
worthwhile
expenditure
for
the
experience
and
atmosphere
and
quality
of
food,
plus
supporting
a
small
local
business.
Definitely
stop
by
here
on
your
way
to
or
from
the
castle!
