This is an awesome little cafè tucked away in Lara, and doesn't disappoint. The food is tasty, and portion sizes are satisfying. The menu is varied and orders are delivered to your table quite promptly. The venue is welcoming and relaxing and doesn't feel squashed. The staff working when I visited were very friendly and regularly checked everything was okay. Lastly, the coffee was excellent. So go check this place out. I doubt you'll regret it 👍.

Overal Customer Service is Not Great | Customer appreciation is Non Existent | Abilty to look after customers concerns and problem solve Not Present | food variety and options however are good Ordered a coffee focaccia wrap and item from cold case from this Cafe. At 1032am, however i didn't get my order that was a takeaway order until 1109am. And the only reason I got my order at this time and not any later is because, I had to go back in to see what was going on as mutilple people who were in the cafe after me were walking In and straight back out again with bagged items and coffees similar in hand as my own order. The cafe area was busy when I placed my order, so to clear space I notified the coffee machine team members both a lady and a man that ill wait just out side then for my order to be ready and they looked at me and said yep thats fine. The congestion cleared up in 10 to 15 minutes later. I waited for my order just outside the front door in front of the coffee machine in clear sight. Both team members constantly looked at me when making coffees aswell as team members near the grill which i assume were for other orders. After waiting so long and seeing no customers going in or going out. I walked back in and spoke the cashier. I asked hey," I'm just wondering is my order far off because I've seen people come and go" however before I could finish my sentence quite directly I got" yeah it's just there its been there for a while" with a point of a finger! I then replied, a while,? why wasn't I notified" the lady replied "it's been there a while and called out multiple times". To me this makes no sense and hoenstly makes me angry if you knew and constantly seen that my order was in visible sight why wouldn't you notify me ?. Further to this which made me quite furious is if I did not ask for my coffee to be remade they were just going to give me the original coffee that they had initially which had been there long enough it cooled down and felt cold to touch. I asked are these focaccias now going to be cold also due to the 40 minute wait and the reply I got after they grabbed the items and felt it by hand was, "It's still warmish it should be fine". A warmish focaccia isn't what was ordered it's should have been heated up and hot. Sorry I'm really not happy with how this level of service was handled and how the situation was delt with... As you can see its quite rare to give feedback to businesses but I felt i had no choice as this feedback should hopefully assist with being a little more friendly towards your customers and offering a better service.

I got myself a big breakfast roll and my partner got the eggs and bacon on sourdough, absolutely delicious and wonderful service 😋

Amazing little brunch place with super friendly staff and yummy dishes! We copped an unreasonably rude staff member at a place close to there so decided to look elsewhere, glad we did as we came across this gem! Will return for sure

From the moment I walked in to Xpresso Lounge Cafe I felt completely at home. I was greeted with a smile from, I think, the female owner who is charming. The food was delicious and flavoursome. The juice was perfect. And the layout is ideal.

For an early morning coffee, skip the nearby McD and come here instead. Yummy coffee and tasty+filling raisin toast is a great way to start the day. My coffee was drinking temperature on arrival so if you're one of those people who ask for extra hot 🙄, well, you better ask for extra hot.

Excellent service, food and coffee, I get a breakfast roll and a long black almost every Sunday and am always happy with what I get.

Met some friends here as is was in-between our Werribee and Geelong houses and i was very pleasantly surprised...best breakfast I've had in ages! I had the smashed avo with salmon and it was delicious. They serve great food that is made for taste; a really welcome change from other places that prioritise looks with small servings and a bunch of uneccessary garnishes to make it 'insta perfect'. We will be back! Ridiculously quick service and a great seating area out the back to bring dogs along too.

Great brekkie and coffee. The outdoor seating area was great today with the warm weather and sunshine! Staff are super friendly and efficient. Recommend.

Consistently good tasting food ! Service is quick even in busy times. There is a lot of variety in the menu. I wish they had bubble tea !

Really lovely place. Great menu and lots of cakes. Gluten Free option for bread and cakes. Really nice coffee and a great outdoor section that we happily did the addy crossword and enjoyed a beautiful meal.

Great local Cafe, with awesome food and amazing coffee, staff are always welcoming and friendly, great selection of cakes. Special mention to Sal, who always goes out of her way to provide great food and coffee with a smile, highly recommend a visit, look forward to my morning coffee daily 😊

They make great coffees and have very friendly staff, the foods are very delicious and made of fresh and high quality ingredients. I’d highly recommend this cafe if you’re in Lara looking for a good cafe.
