We visit Labonte daily with our dog. It has excellent open space, walking paths, and a recently rebuilt skate park. Tons of greenery and old trees make for a very pleasant view during sunrise, sunset, and the abundance of clear sunny days. The lake attracts ducks, geese, and pelicans. The only downside is dog owners not cleaning up after their pets, obviously not an issue isolated just to this park.

A block away from me it's a nice place to take a walk and just relax. Clean and kept up and sometimes just like to watch the kids on their skateboards!

I come here for lunch Monday-Friday... It's peaceful and the pond is relaxing... The exercises stations is an awesome addition...

Stopped here on our way to Missouri, super nice and clean, very cute play ground for the kids. Cute little lake and lots of grassy areas for a pic nic.

I was driving cross country with my dog and needed a break. Stopped in Laramie and found this peaceful park to rest and walk around the lake and refresh for more driving. I recommend it for travelers. Get a sandwich in town and picnic out here. It is not crowded or noisy, like rest stops can be. Not sure if bathrooms were available though. I had facilities in my rv.

Great place for kids who skateboard. Only bad is the mosquito. Lots of them from the lake? Put lots of bug spray on before going to this park.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ There’s a nice off-leash area for dogs to socialize and a short walking trail that connects to the rest of the Greenbelt trail. There is way less traffic compared to the other parks in town which I love!
