Don't waste your time and money. Absolutely awful

Best coffee shop in town! Great prices, good coffee, tasty sandwiches, plus an open and free atmosphere with fast internet.

It was early in the morning on the day fate brought me to Grounds. The caffeine level in the reserve tanks was flashing red. When this happens you have no choice but to stop and get 5 shots of espresso to charge them back up. The young lady working the counter understood that time was of the essence and quickly made a drink of espresso and heavy cream. She was an angel in disguise as her concoction smoothed out the fluctuations in caffeine levels and brought the world into focus. I write this in my logbook and leave it for others as I depart for other places in the multiverse.

Customer servixe wasn't all that great & the coffee was like mud....

So i drinking a thai coffee here at "The Grounds" bistro, the young lady working the counter was friendly and greeted me with a smile when i walked through the door. They had a soothing song playing while i was sitting and waiting for my breakfast sandwich. They offer Turkey bacon as on of their breakfast meat options. I thought that was very interesting. My coffee is called thai coffee. I've never heard of it but it has condensed milk and cinnamon, its actually really good.

Great small local coffee shop that provided me one of the best coffee / breakfast experience in a long time. I felt a very positive vibe. We also connected to wifi and worked while we had a breakfast. We ordered couple of sandwiches and one was “Dalai Lama” on a rai bread 🍞 - that seems to be popular item as well. It was all veggie and great choice. I would highly recommend if you are in town or traveling and taking a break in between.

This is a quaint & funky place. During peak university hang-out times, I'd expect to have a conversation about something philosophical or world changing. Nice staff, too. Good espresso! I like the little closing sticker that keeps the coffee from spilling out :@)

The staff are always friendly, timely, and the drinks are made with care. I recommend their almond milk spiced chai tea latte, and make sure you tip well.

My mom used to go to college here and she would always go through this place. Now I go to college here and I started going to this place, I see why she did! Its delicious and the people are always friendly whenever I come in.

So I hesitate to share this for fear of everyone else utilizing it, but The Grounds has been the best place for me during Covid. They don’t have a lot of people, they serve great bagels and coffee, and they have an open seating area where it’s easy to socially distance. If you, like me, need to get out of the house to work and think then The Grounds is the best spot in Laramie. Only complaint is that they close at 4 instead of 6:-/

Stopped here for a work meeting on a road trip! Cutest coffee shop and wifi worked great! I had my dog with me and one of the workers came right up and offered my dog a pupaccino :,)

Love this coffee shop - flavors and employees are great. But, be prepared to wait if you’re driving through. Update: today I had to drive away after 5 minutes of not being greeted :/ I understand the baristas are busy, so why doesn’t management hire and schedule more?

Love this coffee shop! Their brownies and sandwiches are super great as well.

Super cool spot for a cup of Java! Laid back, historic downtown, great staff, delicious coffee and so much more.

My first visit was great, the best part was the affordability of the coffee drinks. 16oz Breve under $4 is perfect, I'm sick of paying over $4.50 at other places and it tasted great! I'll go back for sure, the barista was friendly and they have a drive through.

We went in the afternoon. The two employees were very friendly & informative. We ordered a mocha latte and Vietnamese coffee. Both were very good!

Great place to chilax

One of the bigger places to study in the area, so that was nice. Smoothie was also good. However, for advertising as a place that has internet, I thought their wifi might be a bit better. I had trouble watching a video on my laptop for a class, to a point where I just had to hotspot off of my phone. This was my biggest disappointment, as I had an hour to finish some work and it became quite an inconvenience.

This maybe the only coffee shop that sells organic coffee. Friendly staff too.

The people here are wonderful, but the coffee is awful. It tastes burnt and is brewed super weak. I've been here 3 times and had 3 different espresso-coffee drinks and it is gross tasting everytime.

Run by children utterly lacking any training, I walked in and stood there unacknowledged — whereas any counter service would have staff say “Someone will be with you in just a moment,” whether cashier or busboy/person…so I turned around and walked out. Got the WiFi password I needed, and was thankfully spared having to buy anything for the sake of courtesy.

Amazing spiced chai espresso and london fog both for cheap!! Wonderful, friendly service and great place to work and have some zoom meetings. Thank you for having us, Grounds!

Decent lil spot I've started going to with a low key vibe. Most all of the baristas I've interacted with have been friendly.

Horrible Management! Posting as a 1 star so maybe they will evaluate their life choices and decide whether they want to keep “running” this establishment. It is understaffed and the staff there was overwhelmed, hot with no fans or AC, running out of ice, and doing the absolute best they could under the circumstances. With owners/management no where to be seen… We tipped them well and did not complain about our iced latte with no ice. Owners: Have some pride in your coffee shop that actually offers great coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches. Fix your equipment and do building repairs. Get your team the help they need and make sure they are well stocked. It’s not that complicated.

First time. Drive through. The staff was friendly. Service was a little slow, but who can complain. The Latte was Delicious!

They don’t even know what a pour over coffee is. So they can’t make one. This is not a coffee shop. I wish I could give them zero stars. I had to go to Starbucks instead.

I've only been in Laramie a few months and have been spending way too much at Starbucks or The Human Bean so I decided to stop in here today..so glad I did!! The prices are amazing and the coffee is better!!😍 Found my new spot!

Had a really good chai. Cozy environment and not too crowded. I went on a Sunday morning and sat by a window. It was a tad cold, but they had a space heater which made it better! Great place to sit and work or read a book

I have been coming here every day for 3 years. Although the staff turn over is high my coffee is always good! Sierra is phenomenal!

Always friendly and good service, I feel welcome every time I come in. Willing to make new drinks and/or cater to your needs. Bonus: puzzles and travel magazines to tempt you when you don't want to actually get something done.
