Wow . This place was incredible find today. Beautiful park on a small waterway. With a loop that's a mile and a half hike all the way around. . You can fish or you can just sit and relax. They also have a huge Disc Golf Course. I saw a nice variety of birds. And a huge 10 ft alligator. You definitely have to be on alert at all times. When walking down any of the paths throughout this park. There's benches down all the paths. The city of Largo has a bunch of beautiful parks. Beautifully maintained.

Perfect. The local parks (I stayed in IRB) are very nice. This is one of many, within 5-15 min drive. Runners, bicycles, walkers, disk golf, dog walking, nature, picnic areas…. Please be aware of the alligators!!!!

I loved this Park is amazing and gorgeous. My dog enjoys a walk in the park. Excellent for riding bikes and having a lot of fun with family and friends. I am so impressed only two miles from Hampton Inn Largo.

I love this park. When you see moments like this, its hard not to want to keep going back. Great family park and for moments when you just want to reflect on all the good things we get to experience in life.

Lovely park with a nice path around the lake. There are a few benches for resting. There's also a playground for the kids and a put-in for water toys (we saw someone paddle boarding). There are a few picnic tables throughout the park with grills We also saw a couple with their folding chairs closer to the lake. I think this is why I didn't give it a full 5 stars .. if there were a couple more picnic tables closer to the lake, it would be perfect (ok, it's already a great park, I just thought it would have made it easier for this couple to eat their lunch if they were not doing it on their laps).

Great little trail to walk around. A lot of wildlife for a small lake, it's coming on mating season for the gators so hearing them call to eachother was awesome! Disc Golf looks popular for those inclined, also swing sets for the little ones.

This is one of the nicest Parks in Pinellas. Is also home to the very last herd of deer in Pinellas County. New addition ... caution driving this section of McMullen Booth. Deer not suicidal just need a good break between cars and get impatient exposed on side of roadway.

This disc golf course is amazing! Id go as far to say it's a luxury course. It has benches and bag hangers at every tee. Most of it is under tree canopy with lots of shade which for Florida heat is great! I highly recommend it.

I love this park, and I live right behind it, so that is why it's so hard to see the deteriorating conditions. Upkeep is not like it used to be, and conditions are not all together safe from wild animals that naturally live here. The waters edge is not mowed anymore, so alligators can be lying in wait for your little dog; please be extra careful near the water. They have not bush hogged the interior, so many coyotes live in the park. Spanish moss has taken over many of the trees, and alot of ducks and water fowl do not return anymore. The homeless camp in the back corner will be a never ending issue. I hope to see more attention being brought back, because this can be a beautiful park and has so many wonderful assets if maintained better. Great for picnics, sunsets, disc golf, walkers, joggers, kids, parties.....it's an all-round great atmosphere and super dog friendly.

Nice park to visit. We've been there several times for walks. Alligators eat one or two people a month. Be careful around the lake, they will get you.

Wonderful park to ride, walk or wander about. Nice trail around the waterway with a marked mile on it. Fantastic Disc Golf course! Several pavilions and play areas. There is even a big rock to climb on, and a neat island to walk out on with picnic tables for an afternoon get away. Public restrooms and drinking fountains about the park.

My nephew turned one on Saturday so friends & family enjoyed a lovely day at Pavillion 5 celebrating this precious little boy. Considering it was just few days after Eta came through, the park was clear of debris. The Pavillion was clean and perfect for our get-together. The caterer was a bit late but with snacks set out and the bouncy house for the kids all went well. The lake was beautiful l even with the large alligator 'hiding' near the shore. Lots of other folks were enjoying their day picnicking and playing freebie golf. The roads are well maintained however the Pavillions could be identified better. All in all, this is a nice park.

Great course in FL! Free to enter. Challenging short holes and long straightaway holes. Hole 9 I might consider skipping next time being so close to the water with constant wind

We walk the dog here frequently. Love the wildlife: squirrels, gators, turtles, fish, birds. There is a busy disc golf course and a nice 1 mile plus trail around the lake. Plenty of woods and picnic stands too.

I'm in love with this park. It has a scene for whichever mood you're in. The trees are gorgeous and the waters full of bird wildlife! I love seeing the occasional Spoonbill spooning the waters for food. The gators are pretty and fascinating to watch from a distance as they prowl/sun bathe.

Just a pretty and tranquil place to enjoy a walk around the lake. Bonuses: Several children's play areas and picnic areas that are clean and well maintained. Disc golf. Also great for bird watching and photography.

Great place to relax. Long trail to walk, kayaking, fishing, you name it. Very serene, just be mindful of the giant gator who's made its home in the lake.

Very nice little park! This park has a perfect length trail for families with children and seniors. Often see gators! Lots of nature to view here and for those inclined there are exercise stations and disc golf. From the parking lot there is also access to the Pinellas trail.

Went this time looking for the big gator I shot here a few years back. No gator. However the park was as normal well maintained. A lot of shady areas and pavilions to relax with friends and family. Would highly recommend.

I enjoy running between the mile markers. My advice is to go in the morning, when the gnats aren't as bad.

Hosted our baby shower here, loved it! It was a hot day, but the trees and the breeze made it perfect for an outdoor party... All but one of the shelters are reservable, the other being on a first come basis... I would definitely recommend this Park for any special gatherings, because my family has been coming here all my life.

I think the park is the same as it was when I was a kid everything is still current and updated the kids playground has been moved to the front of the entrance instead of the middle where it used to be other than that it's very great and relaxing

beautiful park around the big lake in the middle of the "block". Can really spread out and find a spot to enjoy nature or a play area for the kids or a trail to zig around, a grill out area, OR better yet enjoy one of the best and most cared for DISC GOLF courses around. Visit every time I come to St Pete.

Just a nice place to take the dog for little stroll Florida at its best near the coast but not on it lot of wildlife I enjoy Park now lots of parking there but it was a Tuesday morning. But they have lots of little shelter areas you can rent to have a get-together pandemic friendly social distancing actually physically distancing cuz we're trying to socialize and that Park is a good place.

A smaller county park that feels huge. 2 mile hiking trail around the lake goes past waterfront, disc golf course, picnic pavilions, small dam, fishing spots and fun workout equipment. Oh and if you like disc golf, this is the sweetest course I’ve ever seen. Big shout out to the maintainers and whoever installed all those sweet β€œbells and whistles.” There’s great shade throughout the park and many different parking lots. Plenty of covered picnic pavilions. I think it’d be easy to spend quite some time here. Pinellas County Parks are usually outstanding. This one is definitely a winner.

Very nice Par 3 course. We'll maintained with cement tee boxes, a bag post to rest your bag while you wait and benches at every hole. Discraft baskets that have 3 rows of chains and can take in any shot coming their way. Great experience
