Hike this trail to the end of Trail Ridge and you'll be offered amazing views from Estes Park to Longs Peak and up to Forest Canyon, plus occasional views from Chiquita to Mummy Mtn.! Not too far beyond the trailhead, the trail becomes relatively flat and easy to navigate. The views are best at sunrise, noon, and sunset. Be prepared for sun, wind, and the occasional marmot encounter!

A trail head to enjoy the views of Rocky Mountains. The road is open in summer time. The area is covered with snow in summer also. The road is beautiful and has scenic views. You can use the trail for trekking also. There is Alpine visitor center few miles away. You can stop here and enjoy for some time.

We walked about 2 miles to Tombstone Ridge and then came back. Beautiful views, and saw lots of wildlife, including marmots, butterflies, and a herd of elk. Start the trail in the morning to avoid afternoon storms.

Amazing, amazing views. Truly can't be understated. When we went, there was a fire that closed the area after 2 miles, although we heard the best was in those first 2. There's some rock outcroppings that can be used for an excellent panorama or for some shade to eat lunch.

LOVED this hike! It’s unmarked, but there is a small pull off/parking on the left side of the road about 2 miles past Rainbow Curve Overlook. From there it’s easy to navigate. It’s rocky (maybe harder for visitors with mobility issues) but not difficult. 10/10 views!

Visited in the first week of July. We hiked about 1 mile from the trailhead which has roadside parking. Beautiful views with wildflowers and snow-covered mountains. Tons of Marmots along the trail. Do it in the morning to enjoy the pristine beauty without the crowd.

Very beautiful alpine trail. Trailhead is marked by kiosk and small pull off parking for a handful of cars. Easy grade trail- the "hardest" section is the initial uphill but then it's relatively flat or gradual the whole way. 360 mountain views along the way. Beautiful sunrise of you get there early enough to hike in for that! As always pack several layers as you won't know how cold or windy it'll be til you're on the trail.

Super windy but a beautiful hike! Parking is limited right next to the trailhead.

Beautiful expansive views of rocky mountain park. Altitude and fast changing weather makes this a moderate to difficult hike. Trail is rocky and at times, hard to find. Use COTREX or ALLTRAILS for staying on route.
