The Salt & Pepper Museum

Museum

👍👍 Quirky, independent museum displaying thousands of salt and pepper pots (shakers). There are animals, people, vegetables, places all represented, some are X rated, some are amusing a few are even political. The staff are happy to answer any questions you may have and they even offer a coffee or wate... People often mention salt, museum, pepper, collection,

Not what comes to mind when you think of a museum. Rather a narrowly specialized, salt and pepper shaker sets store where the owner's collection is on display. No sorting, no curating, no explanations, just shelves packed with cheap salt and pepper shaker sets.

Brand new museum opening later in March 2019. Massive collection of salt and pepper shakers and really interesting to see.

(Translated by Google) 5 * For the idea, quantity and variety of exhibits, despite such a narrow specialization;). When buying a set for 5 €, free sightseeing.

The collection of shakers is super interesting. Each and every one has a story and some of them are mysterious. The tour by itself was a really joyful and entertaining experience!

Unusual exhibition, but clearly a collection built with love.

(Translated by Google) Hmm ~! It's not a museum that attracts me very much. We are exhibiting a container of salt and pepper. (Original)

(Translated by Google) A small museum, but the exhibits ... do not look))) First showed a small information film about the founder of this collection, and then went to see all the exhibits. Some copies could be purchased for money, but unfortunately not the ones you liked))) (Original)

(Translated by Google) Small museum, actually of no interest to us ... Certainly there are people who are interested in salt and pepper shakers or there are collectors who collect something like that. I can look once but unfortunately I can't say much more.

(Translated by Google) Nice salt cellar museum. Since there are not many museums in Larnaca, you can also look here. On our dates, the entrance cost was 3 euros per person, we were offered water or coffee, the girl told which countries which salt shakers are from. Some of the exhibits are very cute. Once it is really worth going for the sake of experience, the second time is unlikely to go. :)
