    We had the 3-course menu with a Sjøslag" tapas" platter, duck for the main and rhubarb/white chocolate for dessert - highly recommended. Great food, good service. Value for money!

    This is THE place. Restaurant has an amazing location and every decoration just makes sense. The food was not food- it was art. It all comes together and makes you feel out of this world. Tastes are pure perfection.

    I would recommend to anyone in the Larvik area to visit this restaurant. Our starters were fresh oysters and amazing fish soup with the broth delivered by teapot OMG delicious. Main courses choices were split between thick cut sirloin of beef or catch of the day (Hake) both were fantastic. No room for sweet just a shared 5 cheeses between 6. A few bottles of white wine (Chablis) with a Aperol Spritz variant that was well received.

    The seven-course tasting menu at Sjøslag Larvik was a culinary journey that delighted the senses. Each course was meticulously crafted, showcasing the chef's expertise. The standout was undeniably the Grilled Reindeer Sirloin with chanterelles, potato galette, and creamy truffle sauce. The perfectly cooked reindeer sirloin was a revelation, tender and rich, complemented by the earthy flavors of chanterelles and the indulgent truffle sauce. The potato galette added a delightful crispiness to the dish. The wine pairing elevated the experience, enhancing the overall harmony of flavors in Sjøslag. Attention to detail and culinary finesse made this tasting menu a memorable highlight of our trip in Larvik.

    Best restaurant in the region. We had a delicious seafood tower combined with quality wine. Alex is such a great host and and an excellent chef.
