We had a great meal, and the staff was very helpful. Having menus brought to the table instead of ordering at the counter would make it a 5 star experience. The food was excellent and the portions were well worth the price. I got the macho chimchanga, and it was so big it will easily make 2 meals.

Great food and awesome service. This is a place I would definitely eat at again! I really enjoyed the poblano sauce on my enchiladas.

We had an AMAZING dinner at Habanero's Fresh Mex! The shrimp tacos were delicious. My husband had the nachos and said they were top shelf. The chef/owner Alfredo, Alfredo's wife, and Alfredo Jr. were a joy to meet. The patio is charming, a perfect spot to spend an evening. Thank you very much for one of the finest we have had in Las Cruces! We will be back to visit soon.

Authentic Mexican food. We had lunch here after our White sands visit. Loved the vegetarian options. Flan was one of the best I ever had. Service was good. We had our puppy with us and staff was very accommodating. Must try shrimp, tacos and flan. Highly recommend this place.

Part of my day trip from Alamogordo was to come here, and I was not disappointed. This place is absolutely delicious and a gem in Las Cruces. I had the Mole Enchiladas and the Welcome Soup. The flavors had so much depth to them, just the right amount of spice. The soup was made with fidelli noodles and beans and was a nice start to the meal. I will definitely return here again in the future. Also wonderful service.

Highly recommend! The tagline “healthy Mexican” felt true. It was not greasy and we actually felt really good after our meals, which is unusual for Mexican/Tex-mex cuisine. The vegan enchilada was loaded with veggies! Even the cheese enchilada plate was not greasy and was flavorful. The house soup and the lentil soup were both a nice touch with the meals. We really appreciated this place! Counter service with a lot of indoor dining space inside and a number of outdoor shaded patio tables as well.

We dined here while on vacation in October 2021. The food was so good we ate here 3 time in 7 days! I must say, as a lover of Mexican food, this place doesn't disappoint! This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten! The service here is excellent! The restaurant is clean with clean bathrooms too!

We had lunch here on our way back to the Airbnb. We ordered a variety of foods. The mahi mahi fajitas were surprisingly good. The mahi mahi was so perfectly cooked it tasted more like chicken fajita's ! I also recommend trying the guava drink called Bonga. It was delicious and not to sweet. The soup and guac and chips were also phenomenal appetizers. The food was served very fast and the service was good to. It wasn’t the best service, but it was enough to suffice. The diablo shrimp were very spicy and delicious ! Lastly the shrimp tacos were good to. I have had better shrimp tacos but these were still decent ! All in all a good experience, highly recommend trying this restaurant for an authentic Mexican cuisine experience.

These were the best vegan option tacos I had in a very long time. Crunchy, flavorful, fresh. Simple and amazing. Waitress was equally great. I dont know why this place isnt more crowded as the food and environment are charming and remind me of home. GO GO GO!

Very beautiful place. The young lady who helped us was very sweet. We say outside which is very nice and has bench seating at certain ends of the tables. The food was delicious. I ordered the Macho chimichanga it was huge but worth every penny! Also ordered the 2 tacos. It was amazing as well. I am glad we stopped here during our visit. I am recommending this place to our friends who live out this way!!!

Extremely flavorful and tasty Mexican food! It felt like eating a home cooked meal. Multiple vegan options too. We got the veggie burrito and veggie enchiladas. Both were excellent and were filling. Came with a side of rice and beans. Ask for the spicy sauce to add even more spice and flavor to the dish. Tamarind Jarritos was available here and rounded out an excellent meal. Highly recommended!

I came here because it was recommended and had great reviews. I got the Arroz con Pollo and it was delicious. I love their complimentary soup as well. I recommend this place for its good, authentic food. The stream of people coming through told me that many feel the same way. Thanks again!

Visiting from WI and Habanero's was one of my Dad's favorite restaurants in Las Cruces. It's for sure authentic Mexican food and they are generous with the flavors! They even have a free cup of friendship soup. I think that's what they called it anyway 😊. The staff is incredibly attentive and very polite. The three dishes ordered at our table did not disappoint.

This food is crazy good! You have to come here when you are hungry. The prices are really good for how amazing the food is. I just got a burrito and it was some how crispy and covered in sauce which is rare. Put my fork into it and the fork just sliced into it with zero effort and every bit split apart easily yet it was still crispy. The staff is really nice and helpful and the place is really clean.
