The chicken teriyaki I ordered was very dry. And the food was made rather quickly which led me to believe the food is just sitting in pots ready to be served. I was not ecstatic about my meal. However, The employees were very friendly. Even after the cashier didn't hear my second order, she was apologetic and placed it right away.

Always delicious whenever I come in to Cruces to visit family we do our best to make a stop for the chicken!

Ordered noodles and sweet and sour chicken and I was very disappointed in the food quality. Chicken was way too heavily breaded and the sauce was super watery. But the saddest part was probably the noodles. No flavor whatsoever no even a hint of salt. I tried my best as i hate for food to go to waste, but I truly could not bring myself to eat the rest. Only giving 2 stars and not 1 because they staff is very friendly.

Bring back the beef!! Have not gone there sense they stopped!! Food was great until they stopped serving beef. What a loss! Will not go back until they bring the beef! Teriyaki beef with a green chile tempura was my favorite!! Tempura sauce excellent! What a way to ruin a great place 5 thumbs down 👎 on the absolutely horrible decision to stop beef. If the expense was the problem mark it up we will pay!! What a disappointment!

Service was quick, Food was very delicious and fairly priced. Staff was very polite and helpful. You can tell this restaurant is ran with passion for the food and the atmosphere. Overall Good Food, Good Service 10/10

Average at best. Teriyaki chicken was good. Chicken thighs grilled with sauce? The sauce on side was watery. Sweet n sour chicken was not good. The sauce was more like duck sauce. I was up charged for fried rice and nothing about the rice was fried. The lady at the counter was polite though.

Good place to grab a quick and affordable bite to eat. Food is great and the staff are efficient and kind.

Good food , very friendly not sure if it's Japanese cuisine but I think it's Vietnamese ownership rather it be Japanese cooking or Vietnamese cuisine it's Asian it's good it's high in protein tasty delicious. I just wish they had beef but thanks to Biden beef prices have gone up , good food highly thankful

Hadn't been back here in about 15 years because I moved abroad to Asia. Whenever I was back in Cruces visiting I pretty much only ate the Mexican food I missed. Finally had it again today and it's still as good as I remember, but they've expanded their menu a lot. Can't wait to try some of the new stuff! Update: been back a few more times. I'd say stick to the regular stuff. Green chile tempura was bland and disappointing. Egg rolls were meh too.

Mixed feelings about this place, food is good but the building is old and sketchy. I always order the double chicken teriyaki, comes with about 4 chicken thighs, vegetables and rice, great value for the price. Teriyaki sauce is a little runny but good. Egg rolls used to huge and seemed to be homemade, but seems like they went to pre-made and now just average. I go here about once a month.

I ordered teriyaki chicken, sweet n sour chicken and noodles. So nasty! I couldn't eat it! The chicken inside the over breaded pieces is really dark and doesn't taste anything like chicken. Those are burnt too. The sauce is pink and watery. The needles are orange and have no flavor at all. The teriyaki peices are burnt with black bits from the grill and ruined it all. This isn't quality food and I feel like they just wanted money.

Great option for quick, healthier, and local food. Moved away, but forever a must have when I visit❤️ Amazing food and awesome staff. Sometimes they are out, but if not, try the Green Chile Tempura 🤤

Super disappointed. I regularly eat at teriyaki chicken house and never have any complaints however This is the second time where my orange chicken has tasted like old chicken .

Very disappointed. We used to live on LA and got used to authentic Japanese food. Can't seem to find any in this area.

This place has become my twice weekly go to, always get the same, double chicken, and shrimp plate. Good sauce ,good food, ,and nice friendly people work here.

Love this place! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The teriyaki chicken plate is also diet friendly so it’s a nice meal for when you don’t feel like cooking

The only positive is that the fried items were crispy. So much breading and the oil is soooo old. Sauces all in plastic. Flavorless. One bite and to the trash it went.

Well the chicken tasted good some pieces were hard,it's obviously cooked well ahead of time, the veggie egg rolls were great,the pork ones tasted strange, rice was overcooked and the veggies were hard. It was listed as having good prices but not from what I saw,one egg rolls is 3.25. Probably won't go back

Never disappoints. The green chile tempura is a gem. They serve a special sauce with it. Yum!

Team was fantastic, food wasn't what I hoped for. Sauces were served cold, which made the food cold after adding it and they were super watery with little flavor. The shrimp was good (way too much breading though), the teriyaki chicken was ok, but no one enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken unfortunately.

This is the best teriyaki chicken in town for decades!! Fresh, super tasty and great value They are always so pleasant with their service

Good price. Decent portions. Wish they served an order with more broccoli. Chicken was tasty, shrimp was over breaded. Overall, I'd come back again when in the area and want a quick inexpensive bite.
