Incredible gem for military buffs out there! Must see for those that are traveling through the I-10. Dogs welcome and lots of space for them to get their energy out.

We had an overnight stay in Las Cruces and found this gem of a park. The name speaks for itself and had excellent placards and statues. The trail on the outside is a quarter mile long, paved and generally level. For dog owners, there are poop bags available - stop being lazy and dispose of pet waste, especially at a memorial. The pics speak for themselves.

Beautiful! Such a magnificent tribute. But it's also a good park - lots of room for kiddos to run. Picnic tables with shade , rest rooms. Beautifully maintained. Made for an awesome Sunday get out of the house destination.

Love this park! They have toilets, they have various areas to hang out. We go there mostly for soccer practice and it's a great place to have that for sure. Parking can get a bit tight and there's only one way in but the road is wide enough to u turn if needed.

A wonderful memorial and tribute to our Armed Forces and those who have given their all for our freedom.

Few visitors to Las Cruces, NM realize this Veterans Memorial exists, and even fewer recognize the significance of New Mexico's contributions, (...but this is typical, as there are many veterans war Memorials). What commanded my sincere interest & attention in particular were New Mexico's exceptional contributions during the Battle for the Bataan Peninsula in early World War 2, and consequently the well-known sacrifice by U.S. & Philippine servicemen afterwards during the deadly Bataan Death March and brutal imprisonment. This Memorial park is a short drive from the busy and popular shopping centers in the NE part of Las Cruces and worth a neat half-hour stop. It's also a great place for a picnic, BBQ, or just spending a day outdoors (when it's not too blazing hot, or cold). Top-notch Memorial park by the State of New Mexico!

Beautiful memorial park! Gave me chills walking around seeing all the names of our fallen soldiers. Took lots of photos!

Pretty chill place, I liked taking a moment here to relax and reflect. The flag retreat was also nice to take part in.

Perfect place to watch the sun set. Spacious interesting outdoor space. Covered picnic tables. Has a field to practice soccer or etc. A nice evening destination. Also pokemon go fans will be quite content.

What a wonderful place. The park is fantastic. My family and I threw a frisbee and walked the trails in the area. This park pays homage to the men and women who gave their all in service of this great nation. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend that you do so.

Had lunch here today. Such a beautiful park. My brother Pat Magee did quality control on the Hewey as they were built. He also flew recon as a navigator during Viet Nam. I realised for the 1st time ever that his status makes me a member of the Blue Star Families. This park is beautiful, serene, cared for and very user friendly.

Veteran's Memorial, I feel is one of the most well kept, well thought out parks in Las Cruces. I like to go when not so crowded. The statues of the Bataan March soldiers (especially the soldier looking back over his shoulders, his eyes giving way to what he sees or fears), and others possess an eerily reality in the quiet, serene Park. It feels like so many spirits still abound there.

The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. I found a picture of my cousin on the Vietnam War memorial. He was killed in action when I was about 5 years old and never knew what he looked like...very touching.

Outstanding place. I have never seen one so complete-honoring veterans from the Revilutionary War to the present. It is quite large, all paved walkways. Very accessible. Has a children's playground and a picnic area. Can't wait to show this to my veteran spouse.
