This motel is charming! It’s older but very clean and comfortable! The beds are so comfortable! The best sleep I’ve had in a motel! There is a grassy area to sit near the pool. The staff is friendly And welcoming. There is a hot breakfast with plenty of seating unlike other motels that are very small. Affordable price as will! We will be back!

You really can't beat this room for the price. All we needed the room for was a place to sleep during our road trip. It exceeded all of our expectations. We brought our dogs and the room was much larger than expected, which is nice because we have two big dog beds. The only complaint we have is that the pet charge, per night, was not disclosed when we booked the room. (It was $28 per dog per night, and that was in August 2023.) Also, FYI for dog owners, they don't allow you to leave the dogs alone, unattended, in your room. The staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was impressive, especially because we weren't expecting very much. There was a nice center area in the parking lot that had grass, trees/shade and tables. There was also a little pool that looks nice, but we didn't use it, so I can't say much more about it.

I am so surprised this was listed as a two-star hotel! It was absolutely GREAT for us! The rooms are huge (so if we’d needed to set up a crib or a cot or both there would have been room for that) and stayed a comfortable temp for sleeping even though it was over 100 nearly every day we were there. The pool is nice and clean and just sitting in the green shady space is so relaxing. Breakfast is complete (not “continental”) and varies by the day. We will definitely be back.

Great rooms. Clean and roomy. A couple of trains disturbed us briefly in the middle of the night, but they weren't too bad. Made for fun conversation at breakfast. Can't say enough about the cleanliness and style of the room, very enjoyable. TV is lacking a bit, but we don't really care. We'll definitely be back.

This place is great! The rooms date from a time when they built them with a little more room, quality and style. Our room had exposed beams on the ceiling, and a very spacious sink/dressing area. Even the bathroom is larger than today's standard. The room was very clean, and had a fresh linen smell. White cover on the duvet, and no nasty bedspread! Check in was quick and easy (we had reservations). We made use of the large grassy courtyard for the dog, but skipped the hot breakfast to get back on the road. By far the best budget hotel I've ever stayed in!

It's quiet and there's a shady courtyard to walk my dog. The rooms and outside area are well maintained. I felt safe walking my dog late at night. Warm and welcoming staff.

Decent motel stay. Staff checked us in quickly and the room was clean and was comfortable. Our room had no power on the headboard wall but that was the only issue noted during our stay. Good breakfast and I would stay again.

Only a 2 star on the rooms since the bathtub/shower was not non slip and my husband slipped and fell out onto the hard floor. There was a handrail but it was not positioned correctly, no bath mat or anti slip treads for shower takers. Told the morning front desk about it but all I really received back from him was a rolling hand motion to tell him my story more quickly. 😑 Lay a towel down in the bathtub if you go here. Other than that, it's a pretty fantastic place to stay.

I loved this hotel. While the area was not exceptional the hotel was a grade above. It was an older hotel yes, but it was maintained perfectly. The room was a good size and very comfortable. I would stay there again with not even a second thought. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was usual hotel but very good just the same.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Mission Inn and all our visits have been pleasant. The staff are so friendly. Their breakfast always has healthy options (turkey sausage, non-dairy milks and gluten free items) plus a very pleasant hostess who is always willing to refill your coffee!! The location is in a safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants nearby. We always choose to stay here if we are in the Las Cruses area.

Transporter. A little bit off the highway. There is plenty of parking for larger vehicles with trailers. The room was very nice. Good customer service. Breakfast was very nice. It's better than most hotel breakfasts. Definitely on my list of hotels to stay at.

I only have good things to say about Best Western!! Amazing stay! Staff was amazing, especially Rita and Tracy. Rita was so fun and energetic! And Tracy had amazing service, made sure we were alright during breakfast. Rooms were great and spacious. They had a extra space to get ready, and a great bathroom!

Best Western Mission Inn is one of the finest hotels ever. My wife, dog and I were passing through Las Cruces yesterday and found a true winner. Check in was quick and easy. She offered us cold water. The room was quite large. The courtyard is very green and inviting to a dog who was in a car all day. The staff is special. Rita checked me out this morning. Tracy runs the breakfast area. Great job. This will always be our stop in Las Cruces.

I recently stayed there with my boyfriend as a last minute stay and truly enjoyed every aspect of it. I was impressed with great customer service, friendly staff, and cleanliness of the rooms. The location of the hotel was private and quiet which I appreciated. Overall this hotel was a very nice stay and again great customer service as we tend to not see that very often these days.Rita specifically was amazing and does her job very well!

We really liked this older motel. Lots of character which huge rooms. If you’re just passing through on I10 it’s only a few blocks off the interstate. We weren’t a big fan of the free breakfast buffet but we’re kind of food snobs. Bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the price was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. If you get a chance add White Sands NP to your list of things to do while in the area.

Great price. Rooms were spacious and inviting. Staff were professional and personable. Thanks to Aaron and Rita and the breakfast staff. Great breakfast. It was our place before White Sands.

I have made a lot of trip back and forth between Arizona and Texas. Las Cruces is where I usually stop to rest on this drive. I struggle to find a hotels where I can park as I am usually towing a trailer. For one night, you just want to get in and get out. I recently stayed here for the first time passing through. The first thing I noticed was how nice the lobby was. Very clean. The gal who check me in was very friendly. Also very accommodating as I asked if there was somewhere close where I could park my rig. This is key for me as I have a bad hip and walking is a bear. That being said she stuck me as close to the room as possible since I was coming in late and leaving first thing in the morning. The room was really nice and super cozy. I just wished they had something on the first floor. Not a big deal. Definitely a 5/5.

The TV is small, high up and far back in a corner like a 32" computer monitor. Very few channels and it's all ANALOG with snow. MSNBC doesn't even come in at all. There's no excuse not to have a better TV service, particularly since we spend a lot of time in the room because there's nothing nearby in the evening. The room was warm upon entry. Turned on the A/C unit which is noisy even on the fan setting. If I want to be cool, then I can't hear the television without cranking it and disturbing people in adjacent rooms. The room is dark. The desk lamp has a yellow bulb that isn't bright enough for working. The desk chair was broken. The decor is cute and rustic. The light switches are in weird places and not intuitive. The room is huge like a studio apartment. The door needs more than a chain to feel safe. Huge mirror facing the bed which just isn't my thing and creeps me out. I'm writing this review before checking out the breakfast in the morning. There's definitely a nice dog area near the rooms but their definition of grass isn't my definition of grass. For the price, you do get what you pay for. It has charm. Rita was incredibly friendly when I called. The woman at check-in wanted way too much of my personal information that no other hotel ever enters into their computer. If there are trains tonight, I won't hear them because I'm at the back of the property and will have the A/C running as white noise.

We were very happy with the hotel from check in (Rita was very sweet and helpful) to our room which was very spacious and clean. The surprise was the lovely and tasty breakfast with server Tracy and another woman who’s name I didn’t get. They made us feel so welcome.

Excellent! A little oasis in the desert. Our kids loved the green space and the pool. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Warm and homey.

Hello: I was recently in Las Cruces and was booked into a hotel that was less than desirable when I arrived. I cancelled that reservation and looked up others and found the best western mission inn. Rita at the fron was so kind, so generous and super friendly and welcoming. She really is a perfect hospitality person. The room was great! Nice and clean and quiet and safe.

In many ways, this is an artifact from the past, but in a very pleasant way. The rooms have wood beams on the ceilings, which I thought was a very cool touch. The room was clean a fairly spacious. I also liked the breakfast buffet. The only downer was that it abuts a transcontinental railroad, so we got to hear the charming sound of trains passing during the night. Fortunately, even that wasn't so bad and didn't really detract much from an otherwise very positive experience.

Clean rooms, excellent location, and pet friendly. Aaron at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind to me and my family. I was travelling through New Mexico back to California and they were able to accommodate a room with 2 of my dogs, without any "weight restrictions." Most hotels do not allow dogs or if they do, it is a small dog. My Big dog behaves better than most small dogs I seen, so Idk why hotels have a weight limit. But anyway, we enjoyed our stay and will consider staying here again if passing by New Mexico.

Old fashioned but very clean inside the rooms and parking lot. The surrounding area isn’t the nicest (especially if you take a walk around the building) but it was a very quiet stay and clean. Parking is a bit limited (we arrived just after 9pm and couldn’t get a space by our room). Overall happy with our stay and would book again.

Very clean room and property. We had a king room. The breakfast was delicious with an attentive attendant! It was not noisy and the area felt safe (although not necessarily in walking distance of things). We will definitely stay here when we come through Las Cruces again.

The cleanliness of the room was wonderful, and the host and his staff were accommodating and kind. The grounds were well kept and felt pretty safe. The breakfast was fine, though not a whole lot of good non-meat options. Thank you to the higher powers for directing me to this safe abode. May they continue to bless the host and his staff for the kindness they extend to the road-weary traveler.

Family owned jewel!!! We’ve been on the road for 4 days staying in various motels which have been awful. This place was so refreshing. Front desk folks are super awesome and friendly. Hotel was superbly clean! Decor is so eclectic and cute. Affordable for a great experience. The morning breakfast in the “Blue Agave Cafe” was literally 5 stars. Seems like one woman is running the show and she’s doing a fine job!! Food was awesome. Stayed stocked and was delicious. Lots of options. Dining area is a very traditional restaurant vibe. I didn’t feel like I was eating at a hotel. Overall, amazing experience and very refreshing after being on the road and having pretty awful experiences. Would definitely come back and make it a point to stay at this motel. They’re doing great work.

This is an older motel that has been well kept and upgraded to keep up with the times. My beef with them is there are two floors and no elevator. We were there early and had reservations made a month early. We did not realize it was two stories. We were denied a room on the first floor when we checked in. There were very few cars in the lot. I think the motel should consider the age of their guests before making them lug everything up a steep flight of stairs. We are in our 70s and it was a struggle

Our second time visiting, staff was awesome and friendly. We had a family emergency and stopped in to rest around 2am. Our room was very spacious and clean. You could smell the clean sheets upon entry, unlike most hotels the beds are very comfortable and the pillows think and fluffy!

Wonderful experience.. lovely room and services. Room is very specious good for small kids. A one problem i faced in the room mosquitoes and my daughter had many spots on her body which is quiet sad! Just recommend mosquito spray otherwise everything was good!

We appreciate the mobility accessible Handicapped room we had at the Mission Inn! The last time we stayed there we had an issue that the bed in the room was too high to be accessible. That has been corrected and the roll in shower and Handicapped height toilet with grab bars are great. The staff is helpful and included buffet breakfast is nice.

Classic motor hotel with parking in front of the room, which makes loading and unloading easy. Large room, lots of counter space, big dresser with big drawers. Large fridge. Clean and well maintained. Nice hot breakfast. A good value. I didn't like the small pillows.

It was excellent for the price. I brought earplugs for the train noise after reading some reviews, but I didn't need them. A train woke me twice in 7 nights, but I went right back to sleep. Everyone was so nice & the free breakfast was better than any of the other hotels we stayed at on this trip. One of the reasons we selected this hotel is that the owners reply to almost every review here, even the negative ones. That shows they care about their reputation & business.

Overall a good stay. The AC units are very loud & startling when they kick on, and they stay loud the whole time they run. Volume on the TV was very weird, it faded in and out randomly, so you couldn't really watch much without constantly adjusting. There are also train tracks *right outside, so a good bit of noise there. Otherwise the rooms themselves were clean & comfortable, the pool area was lovely, and other guests seemed respectful. The staff was super friendly, and the complementary breakfast was a typical continental.
