The room was nice at first glance, but smelled faintly like a cigar. The longer we stayed the more problems I found. The walls, lamps, and floors are dirty. The walls made me feel very uncomfortable to touch anything, also looks like water damage caused mildew in several spots. The sink facet is broken to come out like a firehose and made it difficult to use. The sheets are awful, feel like plastic even make a crinkle noise. Not sure if we just got a bad room because the reviews were great which is why we stopped. Also never a good sign when the dog won’t sleep on the carpet floor. I hate to complain about anything but was surprised the longer I stayed the quality for the price.

This hotel has been here forever. The location is very good. You can walk to Walmart. There is an Asian buffet right next to it. You can literally walk there in 2 minutes. The customer service is good. Answer phones quick.

The place could use an update but was clean. The staff is what made our visit a five star rating. Everyone was so kind and friendly. They went above and beyond for our needs. Thank you

Very consistent with service, value. They are doing some updating/remodeling, so can't wait to see what this looks like. I stayed at the other Hampton across town and was terribly disappointed. Came back to this one for my 2 day stay and was very pleased, again with the overall stay and value.

Worst stay ever. Horrible customer service except for David who gets 5 stars and an apology for having to work there. Everyone else was beyond rude and not very intelligent. The room was fine but the bedding was awful, you should not be able to hear sheets, it was like sleeping with newspapers. The only soap/shampoo options were from dispensers the were hard to squeeze and inconveniently positioned by the sink...and unsanitary...anyone could put anything in them, breakfast was ridiculous, went to a gas station for better food on the way out. The management does not even have business cards and the manager...if you can call her that...was unprofessional and very rude. Hilton, we expect better from you. Motel 6 would have been better.

The room was mostly good with the one exception of the pillow cases. They were horrible and did not allow for night's sleep. The staff were super friendly and helpful. This is always the case at this facility.

Worst stay ever! I wish I could give them 0 stars. The hotel’s cleanliness left much to be desired. When we got up for breakfast early the next morning, they hadn’t even wiped down the trash can by the coffee bar overnight. And they had not vacuumed. The AC did not cool properly. We arrived to town early, we had been driving all night and called to see if our room would be available early by chance. It was not and that’s fine. We were told it would be about an hour. That was at 1 pm. So we went driving around and waited for our room. We came back at 3:00. When check in starts and we were told our room still wasn’t available. I had to push the issue and when the front desk employee called housekeeping he said ok, your room is ready now, there’s just no towels, So we’ll send some up. Well we went to the room and napped. We woke up and still no towels so I went down to front desk to ask for towels and was told they were out and would not have any until morning. I told the front desk clerk that we never even got towels and he looked around and found some. Not sure from where. The breakfast area was not clean and the food was awful! Customer Service at this hotel is abominable, One of the worst stays at a hotel ever.

I always stay here when visiting Las Cruces. The staff and service are great. The rooms are always clean. Dropped the rating for rooms for this stay due to the bathroom. The shower door was hard to open and close. The toilet was clogged and didn't flush well. The front desk provided a plunger. I was able to fix the problem. The breakfast is great. Always hot and fresh. Waffle maker for the kiddos. Remodel is currently in the works. Sounds like the rooms are gonna be great.

We have stayed here a few times , the employees are so kind and helpful. Our last stay our room was in bad shape our phone was broken we had to use our cell phone to call the front desk . It was kinda dirty and had broken drawers . The carpet was torn and not vacuumed under the pull out . We always find trash under the pullouts . It was concerning especially bc my mom had a medical procedure earlier that day .I called in advance to let them know how important it was to have a clean room .when we left I let the front desk know we did not break items in the room bc I didn't want to be blamed for them , I was told the rooms where just dated . No concern or discount or even an apology it was just like yeah we are an old hotel .

Clean and quiet with a hot breakfast that is more than boiled eggs. Kielbasa sausage, potatoes and mini omelets, waffles, 4 types of juice, hot oatmeal, fresh fruit. Best free/included breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfy beds. This is my go-to hotel in Las Cruces.

This hotel is centrally located in Las Cruses. I need an extremely comfortable bed when I travel. Most Hamptons have the right mattress for my and my husbands bad backs. It was quiet, neat, and we had a pleasant stay.

Could I be more disappointed? At this point I'm not sure how. Paid for the 2 queen bed studio suite. Even checked in through the app day before. When I went to the front desk I was miraculously switched to room 311. A standard room. It was a miracle. Even though I showed that I was checked into room 402 (still showing on the app). The Lord works in mysterious ways. They already had given the room to someone else. Then the clerk tells me it's the same size room...uh...no it isn't. It's a standard 2 queen right off the elevator vs. The 2 queen studio suite tucked away nice and quietly on the 4th floor. Then I was on the phone with customer no service fir over 21 minutes and given a number and told to call back in 48 hours. Nice resolution to your mistake. 1 very unhappy guest.

Mikayla... I believe was her name was so helpful and kind and amazing. We arrived at 5am from Los Angeles and she got our rooms next to each other, helped us with our pets and even have us a late checkout so we could get extra rest. Thank you so much 😍😍😍

Very nice stay. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean. They do provide pump soaps; however we bring our own toiletries. It’s always great to have a refrigerator and microwave kitchenette area. Also a plus was that right next door was an Asian Buffet; very good food including sushi and desserts.

As soon as we entered the staff members greeted us. The room was nice and clean. Pool was a bit dirty but it was later in the day. The spa was a disappointment as the temp wasn't very hot. The biggest complaint was having a coffee maker inside the bathroom: please don't! Location is close to major highway and staff members were fantastic with dinner recommendations. Breakfast food was delicious. Would stay again.

The good: -Staff is very friendly. -Convenient location. The bad: -Our beds didn't have mattress covers (bed bug protection). -The sheets on one bed were too small, so we played tug-o-war all night. -Tried the other bed, but it had a big dip that made us both roll to the middle of the bed. -Very dimly lit. Otherwise, it was a pretty typical Hampton Inn. Not luxurious, but also not motel quality. I'm a diamond member, but was given a pretty terrible room...right by the elevator on the second floor, right above the lobby (i.e high traffic/noise area). On the bright side, the rate dropped at check in from when I booked.

Spouse is a diamond member and we’ve visited this hotel many times within the last few years. Upon our recent visits, we’ve noticed the maintenance/ quality of the rooms has gone downhill. Several rooms have broken / cracked shower enclosures. It appears damage was caused by improper installation of the curtain rods. Bathtub drains aren’t checked by housekeeping to ensure proper drainage. After a few seconds the water fills up the tub. This is very frustrating, especially when you’re undressed and have to wait for someone to come up. It takes an unusual amount of time for requests to be completed. We asked for linens twice and the third time went down to the desk and still wasn’t given any linens or toilet tissue. Had to wait another 30 minutes before someone finally went to our room. Black mold can be spotted around areas of the shower and bathroom fan. Within the last 2 months on several occasions, rooms are not ready at check-in time (3pm). We’ve had to wait close to 5 pm before our digital key was sent to our device. Noise complaints aren’t taken seriously. (12/22/22 - 12/24-22) we were in room 216 and throughout our entire stay the folks above us were extremely loud. The first night we tried to complain and weren’t able to reach any one at the front desk. We called multiples times and only got the dial tone, no answer. Next day I was able to let the front desk know but unfortunately the guests above didn’t comply. When asking if any rooms are available for early check-in (2pm) , the desk associate asks for your name first. Not even a second goes by and he claims “your room isn’t ready yet “ even though we’re close to checkin time. I feel as if they don’t actually check their system and just give guests the run around. (I don’t mind paying any fees for early check-in)

I was on a solo cross-country trip and stopped here for convenience. The hotel is okay, it's a typical Hampton Inn regarding breakfast and basic amenities. I was upgraded to a suite on the fourth floor, which was nice because it had a little extra room. There are weird things that are just maintenance items that haven't been done. There's a hole in the bathroom wall, which is caused by not having a doorstop. I can understand why the door stop would be a bad idea given the small size of the bathroom, but a plate on the wall would have kept that big hole from getting bigger. Breakfast area is fine, I appreciated not having the television on. The hotel had eggs, turkey sausage links, and the usual waffle selection.

Typical Hamptons. It's decently modern and reasonably priced however. It has a small fitness center, bussiness center and pool. It has a conference room if needed. Laundry machines are also on site if needed. The rooms are a decent size and decently furnished. They have small fridges and a microwave. No safes. Decent sized TV with Direct TV and lots of chanel options as well as 6 free movie channels. Lots of power outlet options but no USB ports. Staff is friendly and helpful. The location is ok but kind of in an odd place right next to a Chinese buffet. See my other reviews if your interested in that buffet. A bonus feature is that each room has full size, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, liquid hand soap and body lotion. So that was definetly nice. My only issue was the body lotion, it looked, smelled and applied like suntan lotion but yet it wasnt? However, it did what it was supposed to do. So there's that. The room does have one "oddity" however. The in-room coffee maker is located inside the bathroom which is your typical one room for everything type hotel bathroom. Sure you can move it, but still doesn't seem real sanitary. The free hot breakfast is just ok. Nothing is "freshly" made. Everything is pre-made, reheated and served buffet style. That includes the egg white omelets, potatoes and sausage patties. The coffee wasnt the best but itll get the job done. The bonus was two types of flavored waffle batter to make your own waffles. The breakfast and/or other options at other Hilton brand hotels is definitely better but not by much considering they all serve pre-made reheated food.

Enjoyed my stay very much. Clean, quiet, and attractive room. Comfortable bed. Complimentary breakfast above average. Evening clerk extraordinary - deserves a raise!

Actually--let me be clear--I didn't stay. Why? Because the chain's booking algorithm automatically changed my dates (I book often, and sometimes they do this--in a hurry, yes, I missed it)--and when I called for help to correct, it seems I also missed somehow that my booking for supposedly over a week out was non-refundable. Really? I'm no booking neophyte--I smell needless greed. If the hotel is that full every weekend, why nonrefundable, and why be less than transparent about it on the front end? When I called, it seemed that the only room the hotel had left was 30% more, and the teenager at the desk, noticing my palpable frustration that the hotel wouldn't cancel over a week out (the supposedly packed to the brim hotel}-,told me that the last room in the hotel was booked online while we were talking. Sweet revenge, Ivan, or whatever your name is--truth is, you didn't have time to talk to me, to understand my situation--your chain is not service oriented, and neither are you. The booking protocols are deceptive, the pricing is deceptive, and let me tell ya folks, the Comfort Inn and Suites has really nice rooms with excellent service and none of this Hilton chain nonsense. I strongly suggest you try them instead, unless you enjoy being needlessly robbed by those with whom you had hoped to have a fair exchange of your hard-earned money for actual goods and services. I need this like I need a root canal!

Very friendly staff! Pros: Beds are comfortable. Plenty of pillows. Ac works good. Tons of tv channels. Close to everything you may need. Lots of towels. Cons: WiFi sucked. (Here for business trip) Lighting needs updated. Very yellow. Curtains did not close at night. Light from Walmart came in the room. Outdated room. Needs some TLC. Bed sheets are stiff. Took them off and used comforter only. Hallway smelled like old mold /mildew Overall , 2.5 rating. This being my new sales territory, I may try a different hotel next time.

This hotel is very very old! The curtains did not close all the way, room smelled like skunk or something dead, sink was clogged, shower curtain did not close. The pool was also freezing! This hotel needs a renovation asap!

This Hampton Inn location was super ideal. Staff (Barbie/Victor) were very outgoing and friendly. Hotel was quite and very clean all around. Pool was a bit cold, but hot tub made up for it. Even the guest I ran into were very outgoing and friendly. Looking to stay here in the near future once again. Thank you!

Staff was super friendly. I stayed for a little over 2 weeks, and they were all friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean(passed a black light!). They only need a little TLC to feel new again(new outlets so plugs stay in, that kind of thing). Breakfast was great the times I was there for it.

My wife and I rented a room for two nights as a little baecation and it was a great experience. The staff Barbie and Gina were two completely awesome people. Great hospitality, great customer service, they both made our stay welcoming and comfortable. These two ladies are awesome and equally as excellent ;)... The room was clean and fresh. The pool stayed cold which is a plus for an inside pool and the hot breakfast each morning was delicious. We will definitely be back in hopes for another great experience.
