while the staff at the desk was helpful, the rooms were among some of the worst I've stayed in. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I have to be honest. The first room was dirty; the beds were made but underneath the comforter were blood and stains, the next room they moved us to had the same, and the last room had literal dirt under the comforter at the pillow and stains on the flat sheet. after 3 rooms with blood and dirt made me think of bed bugs.. my family and I left. Pictures were shared with the staff.

We came to town to spend a week with the grandparents and stayed here. The staff is wonderful everyone is super duper friendly. We loved the breakfast and the staff really went out of the way to make sure everything was clean and hot. The hotel is being updated and you can tell the staff is working hard to make sure it’s clean during renovations. We will stay here again when we visit! My kids said the Pool was the best!!!

The dirtiest Holiday Inn and probobly the worst hotel experience. If it wasn't for Elizabeth and another sweet girl working the a.m. shift, I would have checked out of an already paid 4 night stay. A/C wouldn't work, so Elizabeth moved me. 2nd room didn't lock, found a dirty toilet seat, crumbs on table n chair, but the worst was hair in the sheets and pillow case. Elizabeth moved me again! 3rd room also had hair in the sheets and on pillows. It was obvious the maids are not changing out sheets! Elizabeth ever so kindly changed the bedding herself and inspected the rest of the room. Also the breakfast/ kitchen area was very clean. That lady also did great! Thumbs down to the all the rest tho! I'm very thankful to the 3 ladies that made my stay tolerable and even pleasant while I dealt with them! However, I will never stay here again!

My stay was amazing! Room was comfortable and cozy. Service was A+, from the management to the house keepers they made me and my family feel welcomed and was very polite throughout the duration of our stay. I was there on business and everything I needed was in close proximity to the hotel. Overall...I give this place a 5 out 5! I will def stay again and whenever I'm in town.

It was run down. As a room for disability, It had several flaws which could have caused some accidents. The Roll in shower seat was slanting down; there were cracks next to the shower wall, and in the shower floor. None of the lights had knobs or switches to turn on. You You had to plug them into the wall. The owner does not want locals to stay there period this was not explained to us. When we arrived period you have to pay a $200 deposit. To stay there, we had come home from a trip and our electricity was off. We had come home from a trip and found our electricity off period this was not a stay vacation period we checked out of the Hotel the next day when we found we had to make a deposit. It was very dark and dreary in there and difficult to see.

The only thing nice about this place was the young lady that worked the night we were there. She was amazing, very friendly, and very helpful. But this had to be the dirtiest Holiday Inn. I have ever stayed at ever. The comforters were stained, and the carpet did not look like it's vacuumed. They really need to do a better job to live up to the name. Holiday Inn express.

Very worn out hotel. Our room smelled of dog and one bed looked it had been used and sheets not changed. The staff on the other hand were super nice and helpful. She quickly moved us to another room.

Great location. Rooms are a bit dated (carpet needs replacing) but the beds quite comfortable. Morning hot breakfast was rather surprising...tasty and plentiful. The variety of options surprised and delighted us. Have you ever seen a pancake automaton? It was fun to watch. 😄

First if all, I really like Holiday Inn Express and it is usually my first choice when traveling. This HIE should be avoided at all costs. The outside and lobby looked fine. We opened the door to our room and my heart sank. The carpets were thin, old, all full of stains. The walls were banged up and needed painting. The furniture looked like something from the 80s. And the room was so small! We could hardly get our bags inside. Things got worse when we turned on the a/c. It was the loudest a/c I ever heard. Trouble is when it hit the temp it made a loud clunk and turned off—then it was dead silent. I knew it was going to be tough sleeping that way. Another problem was the train noise. At 11:30 pm on train engineer laid on the horn and woke up everyone in the room. Not to be totally negative, the beds and bedding were outstanding. The breakfast was good too. My biggest disappointment is directed to Corporate. IHG should be ashamed of not keeping this property up to Holiday Inn Express standards. The hotel desperately needs an update. There is NO way I would stay here again. There is a very nice HIE in west El Paso that is beautiful and very clean. Drive a little and have a great stay there.

This Holiday Inn Express is in such an excellent location. It is right off the i10. The breakfast was fully stocked and fresh. Our room was clean and I had a very good sleep. The mattresses and pillows were in great shape and so comfortable!! The general manager, Daniel Duarte was very polite and down to earth. He gave us food recommendations and made us feel comfortable after a long 13-hour drive. I fully recommend this holiday inn express due to how friendly the staff was and how clean our room was.

The hotel lobby and breakfast areas were nice and updated, but the rooms could use some updates and maintenance. Also, the a/c wouldn't stay on, so it wasn't my favorite stay. One thing that was impressive was an area set aside for Diamond Elite members.

The room seemed nice upon first entry, but with use was found to be in major disrepair. The table leg was broken and barely standing, the lamp was broken, no exhaust fan in bathroom, TV was small, need was horribly uncomfortable. The spa tub was unusable, there was no way to plug the drain, and also no way to fully drain the tub. We had to use a wrapper to block drain, and when done the tub never drained after removing wrapper. Only found 3 jets blowing, all were broken and unable to be turned to open. The breakfast was disappointing, waffles can't be made fresh, omelettes were egg white which is flavorless. Biscuit and gravy only thing decent. We complained at the desk but it fell on deaf ears. They did not care, so here we are leaving a negative review after paying $160 for a motel 6 quality room.

Comparing prices to similar hotels like the Hampton in. This place is terrible. It's so dirty. Floors and chairs have stains. The walls are dirty, and you can see old patch work. If I'm paying $142 a night, I expect it to be super clean.

Beautifully decorated and landscaped. Staff is helpful and friendly. Locally owned and maintained with true New Mexico pride. Conveniently located just as you come into town on westbound I-10. Plenty of outstanding restaurants in close proximity. The included breakfast is excellent and plentiful. I highly recommen this property if you are anywhere near Las Cruces, NM.

I was moving from the east coast to the west coast. I had major transmission problems, landing me in Las Cruces on Sept 21st and was stuck here until Sept 29th. We (me and fiancée) spent every day here in this hotel. ALL staff, from management to guest services to housekeeping to kitchen staff were exemplary. All were kind and helpful. This was a week of hell for me and my fiancée yet the staff here made things better for us with each day that passed. I can’t say enough good things about the people at this hotel. A special thanks to Kelly and Elizabeth. They made our stay more than comfortable. Thank you! I read several other recent reviews that complained of this hotel being dirty and I’d like to comment on this; although this hotel is in need of updating (new flooring, fresh interior paint, new furniture etc…) I can assure the reader of this review that the housekeeping staff thoroughly cleaned rooms and common areas. We were here for 8 long days with nothing to do and no transportation. I am particularly picky about cleanliness and this hotel is clean.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express Las Cruces! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, making me feel right at home. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start each day, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. I can’t say enough good things about the friendly staff who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I give this hotel a solid 5 stars and can’t wait to return for my next visit to Las Cruces!

1.Hotel is old and needing updated. 2. Pool was dirty. 3. TV in exercise room not available - desk said remotes lost. 4. Went through 6 room keys, new batteries in door scan, stood wet from hot tub in hall until manager could leave from home to get us in room, after several requests for door ti be fixed I finally just switched rooms. 5. Mirror in closet door reflects blinding light from bathroom. 6. No cookies lol

Filthy hotel. Common areas look nice/undergoing renovation but the rooms are in need of an upgrade (there doesn’t seem to be any plans for this). A/C was super loud as well. Our sofa bed did not come with any sheets except for 1 thin blanket which looked very dirty with yellow stains all over. After staying at this hotel and now reading the other reviews, seems to be in line with our experience. Somewhat friendly staff though.

This motel needs a full remodel. Everything feels old and dirty. We had just stayed at a lovely Hampton and the comparison was stark. I will avoid holiday inn express in the future unless I know it has been recently remodeled.

Rooms were nice, and the service was very good. But the location is not too good, located too close to train tracks. A train goes by 3-4 times a night, blowing its horns and waking us up.

this is probably my preferred choice to stay when traveling through Las Cruces. The pool and hot tub was nice and the breakfast was above average for IHG. The front desk was super friendly. I was offered a complimentary upgrade due to my IHG status. My only complaints were the lack of large vehicle parking and very limited food options by foot or in general. The gym was pretty poor as well but i would stay here again. A King suite is featured in this review

Came here for the night ended up finding drug paraphernalia in the room we wanted to be refunded and they said we would have to leave in order for them to refund us 11 at night. Where did they expect us to go? they didn't offer to pay for us to leave to another room. they would not give a refund I am scared of the contamination my daughter was exposed to. She's now sick the rooms are horrible it was black scuff marks all over the room not to mention the toxic fumes that were exposed to.

We left the hotel the morning after checking in to attend a funeral. Because of the nature of why we left, personal items were left in the room. My wife's wallet was gone through and $73 of cash and a Target gift care was missing. We informed the front desk and the manager informed us that he went through the cleaners bag and found nothing. However, this money could have been in her pocket, her vehicle, or somewhere else. Not even an apology was offered to us. Just said there was nothing that could be done about it.

From the time John Paul checked us in at the front desk, until the time we enjoyed a much better than usual free breakfast, everything was top notch. Would happily stay here again.
