We passed our Padi Open Waters with the center Buceo La Vieja. We could not have found better coaches! It has been a fantastic experience, from the start they were available to answer all of our questions and during the course Juan Carlos was very professional, reassuring and friendly, which made the dives very smooth and fun. We dived directly in the sea from the start, which allowed us to also see some marine life, a very welcomed bonus. We highly recommend them!

I had an amazing experience with Buceo La Vieja! I had my baptism with Juan Carlos and he is very patient, helpful, and professional instructor who explains you everything you need to know before you take your first breath under water. Yemi was very friendly and patient with me, because we were waiting for the weather conditions to get better and I was excited to do my first dive :) She kept me posted about everything and as a cool memory sent me bunch of pictures that we took under water. Apart from the baptism dives they organize diving courses, too. It was definitely a fun and very relaxing activity.

I did the PADI open water course and although it is not an easy course, the professionalism, patience, and experience of Juan Carlos make you feel safe and relaxed. I will come back with pleasure for the next courses. Thank you very much

I had such an amazing and personalized experience doing my dive open water course here! I will never forget how it was cool it was to dive for the first time. The instructions are so kind and under water pointed out so many cool things that I might have otherwise missed.

What an experience! Myself & 3 friends went diving today and it was amazing. It was my first time diving and I was quite nervous once in the water but the instructor made me feel so at ease and literally held my hand the whole way and made me feel so comfortable by the end of the dive I was a pro 😉👌 we are English and speak very little Spanish and we had no problem communicating. 100% recommend. If you have never dived before try the discover scuba diving here. Thanks a million!

We had an excellent experience with Buceo La Vieja and Juan Carlos! The updates on when the dive could go ahead were timely, and always had a clear explanation. The team were very welcoming. The dive itself was wonderful! Juan Carlos was a very patient, kind, funny instructor, and always made sure we were comfortable with the equipment and the techniques (e.g. clearing the mask of water). The area was extremely beautiful, with lots of fish and interesting landscapes to see! Already dying to go on another dive with them, we cannot recommend them highly enough!

I totally understand all the 5 star ratings! Buceo La Vieja is a small but a really good diving school run by a couple. I did my PADI Open Water Diver certification with them and I felt comfortable and safe all the time. Juan Carlos is the best dive instructor 👏! He calms you, is patient, professional and friendly. Even though he doesn’t speak English that well there was no problem at all. He always makes sure that the important information is understood by the student. Yemi was really friendly and managed everything in the background for my certification. She speaks English well. All in all, it was an amazing experience and I definitely recommend this diving school and Juan Carlos as a dive instructor 😊. Thank you so much 🙏! They will send you a link by email and it takes approximately 2-3 full days to study the whole content.

I did PADI Open water diver course in this school and I couldn’t have chosen better place. Everything was smooth and I stayed in touch with instructor during the whole process. Diving was amazing, I was able to see many animals such as an octopus, a stingray and an angelshark. Highly recommend!
