I had two terrible experiences here... But tonight was the worst. We sat down ordered 2 wine and food, after receiving our wine, we were told to push our table back to squeeze another table in no problem. Then we were moved from our table to make a four cap, another couple sat down after we got up and were moved also to a small table on the street, behind us. Following another couple of two who finally stayed at our original table we started at. We ordered at the first table and were served last, and forgotten. My Calamari was the SINGLE worst dish I have had on my entire three year trip. It was served over done, burnt and ice Cold, with tiny pieces of old soggy fries AND soggy SLIVERS of veggies also Ice Cold. My boyfriend ordered the pork special he was served 20 minutes after me Ice Cold meal but at least his was cold and eatable, and only after the two tables that came after us, who ordered the pork were all but finished. They were more about, tables, then drink and quality food, then service. Our bill was 30.00. Extremely Disappointing would have rated it a zero if it was available

We were 5 people for lunch. I ordered ribs, and they took 45min to be served. All the others had already finished when I got served. Ribs were not good, too hard and dry, with no meat, as if the had been pre-cooked several times. I returned the dish and eat a sandwich in my boat instead. By the way, the ribs price was 16eur... This bar is simply not good for eating. Will not come back again.

Sailor's Bay Bar is one of those places where you can have a really good dinner without spending a fortune. The place cannot be seen from the street and you have to go down to the marina to find it. It is true that I did not eat any gourmet dinner, but only a pork chop with french fries and fresh vegetables, and just like for me, it was one of the best meals I have had on the island. Sailor's Bay is in the Top 3 for sure 👍

Beautiful bar and restaurant. We came few times as our dock is very close to it. Excellent service. Always had the local beer Tropica here. Tried the anchovies and calamari and both were very tasty. Very nice environment.

The place to be !!! Very nice and efficient staff, memorable place. Food isn’t the best but pretty ok. Beer is cold and good. The best place to have fun with other sailors and a great board to pin announces or to find a crew.

Very disappointing experience. We ordered some entree which were frozen inside definitely frozen food like the ones from the supermarket. The pizza with seafood had sand inside which made me think higiene standards mere not met as they were not cleaned properly. Everybody smokes outside. I could not believe you can still smoke cigarettes in a restaurant in Europe. Never again.

Excellent service, a small but scrumish menue, best vegeterian pizza in Las Palmas! Not stingy on a wine per glass, iced beer mugs, lively outside venue with view over marina. One if our favourite drinking holes...

After several recommendations from several cruisers, I visited Sailor’s Bay Bar several times before writing this review. Bottom line: Over hyped. To be fair, all 4-5 of my visits were during breakfast hours, which is obviously not a priority event for this establishment. Beyond an extremely limited breakfast menu (which is not uncommon throughout Spain), I was most disappointed by the service - or, more correctly, lack thereof. Most of the servers seemed typically courteous and professional, but the one lady I seemed not to be able to avoid was surly to the point of being rude. My Spanish friend noticed it, too, the one visit I made with him. Hard to say if I’ll overlook this one employee’s poor comportment and give the famous marina hangout a try during dinner hours to sample its Italian fare, which is reportedly delicious. Consistency is the hallmark of a true landmark establishment, something that seems to be missing here. At least the coffee was consistently excellent.

A very popular bar for the yachting community. It opens a bit late - 9.30 - but also goes very late, sometimes till 1am. Decent pizzas. Their beer selection on tap is very limited (San Miguel and Heineken). They do t have any interest in playing sport. But for hanging out and socialising it’s very good

They don't do any cocktails. We asked if they do mojitos and all they do is Aperol Spritz or gin. In our world sailers drink rum!
