We had a very warm welcome and were happy because the room looked really cozy. We were suprised by cockroaches under the wooden structure next to the bed, that would come out and crawl through our stuff. We informed the staff but the hostel owner wasnt caring at all - just really annoyed that we dont want to sleep with roaches.

Super Lage, alles zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das Hostel ist schön und gross. Man kann sich viele Sachen ausleihen. Wäsche kann gewaschen werden und auf der Terrasse hat es jede Menge Platz zum aufhängen. Leider sind die Waschmaschinen schimmelig und nicht so ansprechend. Das sollte behoben werden. Generell hat der untere Stock eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und es müffelt etwas. Hier sollte man das Haus mehrmals am Tag durchlüften da es draußen momentan nicht so feucht ist. Im Zimmer leider das selbe Problem. Generell aber gut

This is by far the most beautiful and interesting hostel I have ever visited. The decoration is so very well taken care of, to the slightest detail. We had a room that had an elevated bed, leaving space for a cute tiny living room. Everything was clean and tidy. Laundry options available and not to forget the public rooftop where you could chill or have your meals. Very friendly stuff and with the bikes we could use for free we got to explore even further the gorgeous Las Palmas. We could also lent materials such us a beach umbrella and swimming fins that were available for everyone. For sure if I am ever there again I will choose Cactus Host for my accomodation.

Lovely place! The team is nice and friendly. The rooms are clean and cozy. The design is very modern. There is a rooftop terrace, where also the kitchen is located. The kitchen is very clean and has everything you need. The location of the hostel is also very good! It's just a few minutes walk to the beach and to the bus station. I really recommend it!

It is fine for the price. I would request a room away from the street where the entrance is because there is a bar just across from the hotel that is open until 4 AM and it is really loud. The front door is also extremely loud.

The location in Las Palmas is perfect however there is a club open until 4am next to it and it is incredibly loud and noisy (the rooms are not soundproof...). The room itself is cute and clean but a bit dark ! Perfect for 1 or 2 nights

Wir haben im Januar eine Woche in dem Hostel verbracht und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten die Suit mit eigenem Bad und für den Preis (wir haben 45€ die Nacht gezahlt) ist die echt super. Sehr schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Das WLAN läuft reibungslos und die Lage ist einfach perfekt. Überall sind Bars und Restaurants und man ist super schnell am Wasser. Die einzigen Kritikpunkte die ich hätte sind, dass es sehr hellhörig ist und das dass Zimmer echt dunkel ist. Da das Hostel nicht sehr voll ist hat uns die Lautstärke nicht wirklich gestört. Würde das Hostel insgesamt sehr empfehlen :)

I don't like the bathroom design, there's no privacy at all. It's literally open for the other person to see and hear everything. This room is for one person. (The "suite" for two)

It was very clean and the free usable stuff was top. The furnishings wäre also very respectable. But we got a different room than it was shown in the photos. The kitchen was weakly equipped. And a real hostel-vibe didn`t come up due to the three floors. Really a pity.

The rooms were exactly like the website, clean and tidy however there was no kettle in room and it was not clear you had to go to the roof top kitchen for a hot drink, no change of linen in the five days stay, bed uncomfortable and we upgraded to a private toilet but found this an open area of the bedroom. The street the place is located on is not attractive and appears to have some sort of benefits centre next door, very noisy in the morning. Only five minutes walk from a lovely beach, 15 minutes to bus station.

Nice hostel. I had a private room with a shared bathroom. I arrived late and the self check in process was very smooth. Lovely decor. The only thing preventing me giving 5 stars was the shower was lukewarm at best, nearly cold. I was only staying there one night before my flight so a hot shower would have been nice.

We spent two nights here. We had a cute tiny room with a big bed and a shower. A very lovely place near the beach :)

Really weird and strange place. I don’t like the shower inside the room…and it just feels the damp air made the whole place feel gross

Great amenities with lovely atmosphere and even better location. Tons of beach equipment to lend and fully stocked kitchen. Rooms available with varying sizes and comforts. Friendly and attentive staff within reason; they work normal 9-5 hours. Afterwards they are not so easily reachable. Think and plan ahead!

Super nicely designed rooms, very clean and central location. The only disadvantage is the noisy street, so its better to have a room not on the street side (we stayed twice, once on the street side, once on the inside).

Booked because they had terrace. Arrived and the terrace was not allowed to enter but no previous advise was sent. Plus, found a cockroach under the bed. The room is nice but not worth the money for not being able to use all areas and not informed.

They advertise a rooftop and it's not possible to be there. The alternative is to have meals in your room. As the rooms do not have much light nor ventilation, if you are booking to this place, I hope you have a good lung capacity of oxygen. Also, the room is shared with cockroaches so you better kill them to get some extra minutes of oxygen. To make the stay more like a Jumanji game, we had a waterfall coming from the light of the bathroom. Since we were 2 and we both wanted to shower, if we wanted we could have used both the shower and the waterfall. If you are not a Freediving instructor nor want to feel like in a cage, do not go there.

I had a booking for one week. It was horrible. Waterfall in the room and cockroaches are having fun. The street is dangerous as the neighboor is a shelter for homeless people that fought every night in front of our door. The owner decided to close all the common areas without advising before. So the only place to eat was my bed. I decided to leave two days before to find another place and asked for a refund but they didn’t want. But Even they called me before to ask me to take my stuff so that they could made a double booking of my room ! I would not recommand to anyone to go there.

Clean place with great location. Not a real hostel vibe, but that might have been just our missing luck.

The hostel was clean every day! The front-desk staff were kind and helpful. The interior design is beautiful. Also, so close to the ocean! Only a couple blocks away from the beach and very close to grocery stores and restaurants.

The location is perfect, you are just two blocks away from the las Palmas beach. It was very clean, we had a comfortable bead and used the huge TV in front of the bed. We took the suite and the bathroom situation with an open toilet was not really visual for us. The reception was not that well reachable to times she said they would be. All in all pretty nice place, especially looking at the price. Recommendable!

Nice staff. Great roof terrace with summer kitchen. Rooms tidy and nice. Bathrooms clean!
