👍👍 What a nice and scenic walk we had here around the old volcano 🌋 the way doesn’t need much time and if you are afraid of highs it can be a bit frightening. All in all it is very nice to walk and needs not too much training to do so. You can park in the area and then take the walk from there. People often mention walk, crater,

Hiking trail starts here or ends if you walk from other end, around volcano. Should definitely walk this trail

Great walk around the crater. Good foot ware essential as path is slippy. Continue the walk to Picos Bandama for more stunning views.

Take a hike round the crater edge of Caldera de Bandama. This is one of the most beautiful walks I have made in Gran Canaria (and I have made a few) . The view down the crater, the marvellous views all the northeast part of Gran Canaria cannot be described other than breathtaking ! I will also suggest a walk down the crater, but not the same day ! Remember to bring plenty of water, there is no one selling cold drinks on the way ;-)

We did it with two kids of 3+7, for me (vertigo) some parts were harder but overally ok. Astonishing views not only of the caldera but also to the sea, sorrounding cities and the mountains. You can also access on the other side via Bandama Golf Club parking.

Fairly easy circular walk of 1-1.5 hrs. The surface is dry but covered in loose small stones which can be slippery. There are a couple of steeper up and down sections that may be a challenge for some. There are no sections that require hands to scramble up or down. Great views in all directions and information provided about how the Caldera was formed.

Great hike. Takes around one hour. Best to first drive up to the top, enjoy the view and then drive down all the way to the golf hotel. From there, the hiking trail actually starts. Good hiking shoes recommended.

Amazing walk around the crater. Saw so many interesting plants. Breathtaking view all along. Definitely recommend it.

Great walk, impressive views. Be aware that there is no shadow on your walk and wear good shoes- the sandy path is sometimes steep.

On the peak of the volcano you have a beautiful view of the crater, Southward, and of Las Palmas Northward. Peak is easy to reach and the path is not so long. During winter/spring season it is full of vegetation. Nearby there's a nice tavern.
