Together with 2 friends we spent 6 days of surfing classes in Oceanside. The place is Very professional, friendly and also the cleanest surfing facility I’ve ever seen :D We had lessons with PATRICK who was AMAZING. We learnt a great amount of details on surfing technique, reading weather conditions and much more! Patrick is extremely professional and his experience can simply be felt during the lesson. On top of that he is always smiling, helpful, engaged and motivating. I must add that it’s not easy to impress me, but Patrick and the rest of the staff at Oceanside did it perfectly!

Rented a premium longboard and had a great time. Waves were pumping and the board was really good. Very responsive and had a fantastic time. So good to surf in board shorts finally.

Our girl (8) had her first surfing experience there this summer, and she loved it. Coaches care about the Kids and teach them the beauty but also the dangers of the ocean. Location is great, on a pedestrian street barely 10 meters away from the sand. We will bring the girl back next year.

One of the best experiences I had with a surfing school! I originally planned on taking just one class, but I was so happy with how the class went that I ended up taking classes for almost a week. The teachers were incredibly friendly and helpful. They're an awesome bunch and they really know their stuff! Every day they were in the water with the group, throughout the whole class, giving each and every one of us individual corrections and advice on how to improve our technique. In my experience with other surfing schools, I have rarely gotten so much focused, useful feedback and corrections. And that made all the difference in improving my surfing. By the end of my classes I was riding quite a lot of waves and enjoying the heck out of it. Gracias chicos <3!!

The best surf school ever ! I had so much fun here 😁 Every instructor was great , equipment is good , very comfortable changing rooms and u can have a locker to leave your staff. For 5 days of surfing I got a huge progress and it was so much fun 🏄🏽‍♀️ Also u can get great photos from Larry 😁 Thanks everyone !!!

We had a great session with Kevin. Although the approach was less hands-on from his side than we were used to, his advice was still very helpful and we learned a lot. The price was also very good. Also shout out to Larry for great photos.

I had a fantastic experience at this surf rental shop! The staff was incredibly helpful, and the best part was that we could easily load the surfboards onto our car, making it convenient for our surf adventures. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for a hassle-free surf rental experience.

We had 3 surf lessons with Oceanside that mostly went smoothly. However we were also treated rudely by the booking staff (presumably the manager/owner/administrator). They had apparently booked us into a time we did not request, and sent us no notification of that booking. When we came to actually book our final class, they said we had no classes left, because we had missed that one. We attempted to clarify, but they insisted they had made ‘no mistake’, effectively accusing us of lying. Although they allowed us to have the final lesson we had paid for, they continued to treat us like liars in the comms. This soured our experience with this surf school, which was otherwise decent.

We had a beginners class and we really enjoyed our time. Unfortunately, one of the two instructors that we had, cared a lot about "catching the way" on his own during the class which made it difficult for the rest of the students to follow. But the other instructor was very helpful and fun. In total we felt safe, and we would visit again.

About the school: 🏫 - Professionally run school with payment in advance, good communication and organization - Great location - barefoot to the spot in 2 minutes, then enjoy a drink in the sun right next door, watch the surfers and continue learning with the eyes - Clean store, well equipped (wetsuits and boards). There are lockers (keys are kept safe at the reception), hot showers and changing rooms - Friendly staff, I felt welcome and comfortable at all times. - At peak times it gets a bit crowded in the building. About the spot: 🌊 - Located within walking distance of the beach promenade with waves for every level - The water could get pretty crowded during the day. At the time of our 9 a.m. lesson, it was still okay. - There are several options for surfing and the instructor picked the best wave for us every lesson, depending on our level and the tide. You can also change during the lesson. About the lessons: 🏄‍♀️ - We had five private classes in pairs and the instructors adapted to our level every day and ensured our progress. - At the beginning, our technique was checked and improved in the white water. Through individual feedback after every single wave (!) we were able to quickly level up for bigger waves. - In case the conditions are not good, the school informs you in advance and offers to either postpone the time or rebook the entire surf lesson. We opted for the former and did some technique exercises and games in white water. 👍 - The instructors definitely encouraged us to challenge ourselves, but made sure that we still felt comfortable and safe at all times. - We would have liked to have seen more communication between the different instructors regarding our level and learning goals but that is a minor suggestion and barely affected our experience. - Overall, we learned a lot and, above all, had fun. Very nice place with friendly personnel. The guys were easy-going and willing to help with everything. I'll definitelly go there again during my next visit :)

It's a five star surfing school. We are here for the third time in 3 years. We always take about 3-4 lessons. The whole staff is relly kind and helpfull. Everyone knows their job, they are professionals.

Amazing school. Beginner classes contains of 6-8 students per teacher, so it is not crowded. Teachers always helping and explaining everything. Even giving some small challenge which helps to improve your surfing skills. Really glad I took lessons in this school. Superb value for such price (surf bonus package). Kudos to all the teachers and thank you!!!

This school is amazing. All the teachers are clear and professional. They helped everyone to improve at almost every wave and I had a lot of fun. The staff speaks good English. Material is great, many boards for different condition/time / surf levels. The beginner class lasts ~2 hours, 5 minutes of a fun warm-up, at most 10 minutes of theory and safety rules, and then straight to the water for the remaining time. I look forward to coming back next year!

I had very pleasant 2 weeks here and got professional guidance throughout the whole course. Beside this, the staff was very friendly and open to wishes/changes at any time! My recommendation for anyone, who is interested in learning the magic of surfing! I want to come back in the future - a big thanks to all of you guys!

Reviewing the surf equipment rental service. Probably the best surfboard rental experience so far. I was staying 25mins away the shop and La Cicer beach, so it was really nice to be able to rent a board and keep it in the store. I'd show up at the store, pick up my board, go for a session to La Cicer (2min walking), drop off the board back at the store, have a friendly chat with the staff and go my way. I also used different boards in the same category on different days, they are rather flexible. The store has toilets, showers, changing facilities and lockers - don't forget to bring a 1 Euro coin for the lockers. Super convenient, will come back next time I'm in Las Palmas.

Really kind people with knowledge of what they are doing. We were only renting but could use the showers. Guy whom helped us took all the time to advise us. I got an injury and an employee even helped me with cleaning the wound. Would definitely recommend

Oceanside is a very good surfschool. It is situated close to the beach and all facilities are well kept. Clean changing rooms, clean toilets, new wetsuits and boards. There is an welcoming atmosphere and the staff is superfriendly. I was changing my plans about surflessons and accomodation. They reacted helpful, patient and were trying their best. Last but not least: The instructors were extremely professionell and so nice. They took a serious effort to improve my skills. I will definitely return.

Nice surfschool. Did learn pretty much during the lessons and renting a Surfboard is comparably cheap. Instructors were very nice! Can really recommend This Surf school.

Great team!! Awesome intructors, helpful service and great photographer. During my time at Oceanside, I learned a lot and could progress my skills. Right next to the beach, lockers, changing room, toilets available. Great place! Will definitely come again!

Really nice guys running Oceanside with good gear and facilities. Much better than another I tried. Highly recommended! The beach here is also a great place to learn.. basic beginners is possible in almost any conditions. When the swell is smaller its a nice place to start to take off. Enjoy!

Booking was very easy, and the staff at reception were very friendly and accommodating even though we were late to the class. Lots of hands-on experience, so you don't spend too much time on theory. Larry the photographer was extremely kind and gave some very useful tips. Unfortunately the big drawback was that the instructor himself was very unfriendly, rude even, and even insulted some of the students under his breath. That made me stop after 2 hours even though I had booked 3. If it hadn't been for the rude instructor it would have been a great experience.
