The Cuban place on the corner is where it’s at! The chef certainly knows what he’s doing. Best Tamales, Tostones & Arroz a la Cubana. Amazing customer service chilled relaxed vibe, me and my dad came here countless times. Their mojitos are perfect in every way, thank you for a lovely time always!☺️

Great, lively place. In the.morning you can get fresh vegetables and fruits, different hams and sea food. In the evening it changes into totally different place. We used to come there in the late afternoons for some drinks and tapas. People who work there are so friendly and open.

The port market is a must see destination if you are visiting Las Palmas. There are vendors selling selling traditional spanish foods to try with a beer or glass of wine. The "pinchos" are exceptionally good. The Cuban bar on the corner is also highly recommended. Five stars.

Visiting this market place in the evening approximately 8pm but many places were either still not open or they closed early (I'm not sure which way round it was) however had a quick walk around to see what it was (it's a small local market with drink stalls, etc) and then left soon after.

The market is so good! - Many food and drinks choices, even a small stand for clothes. - The vibe is very good, even with live dj. Not only indoor stands, check the shops surrounding the market building too! - My favorite stands are ''Encurtidos Antequera'' for wonderful tapas food & drinks and ''dulces de Portugal'' for dessert takeaway.

:) Open daily except Mondays. Fridays is their busier bar night. Plenty of options for fresh foods, tapas, local and international cuisine and drinks. Especially fresh and exotic flavours of mojitos :)

Great eating experience. Buzzing environment. Not all food stalls were open as early evening. When we return we'll go at lunchtime to fully enjoy the atmosphere and the choices of foods. Highly recommend. *****

A Sunday lunchtime visit and discovered locals meeting for a music and dance session. What a joy. We sat near a little wine and tapas bar, a lovely way to while away a few hours.

Opens every day at 7:00 which is fantastic for early risers like me. Very good Bocadillos and they also have fresh Churros. It's right across from the Central Food Market.

It seems that half of the shops were closed (not sure if due to of my visit or other reason). Ate some tapas there at the italian store. Excellent food, i can recommend. 3 stars due to "is it closed or not" feeling.

Nice little food market not far from the beach, with lots of little cafés serving tapas.

One of our favorite places in Las Palmas. There are fruit and veg stalls and proper butchers but alas no fish stalls anymore as there were before Covid for some reason. We shop here to cook at the apartment, (fish from Super Dino). The market is mainly full of small restaurants doing many styles of cuisine, meals and tapas are excellent quality. Friday and Saturday nights can be very busy indeed.

Lovely little fruit, fish, and meat market where you can also get a drink, and some fab tapas style snacks.

Three of our family of five had amazing meals, the other two (kids) had burgers that came with mayo, mustard, and ketchup and were more mess than food. The Trio, however, (my dish) was incredible!

We love this place! So many great restaurants to visit. We ate dinner one night at the Cuban restaurant outside (15€ for a huge plate of food to share for 2 people)just delicious! We also visited a bar inside to eat some pinchos. Highly recommend when in Las Palmas!

The market is a perfect destination to go if you are visiting Las Palmas. Lots of places sell traditional spanish foods. The location is very central and close to Las Canteras, also usually Friday night and Weekends are very busy.

Cuban bar in Mercado del Puerto: Fantastic! Wonderful! No less! We had the Plato Cubano, ie a huge plate of lovely Cuban food, yuca, fried green bananas, pork meat, congris (the emblematic cuban dish with rice and black beans, the best tamale ever ith minced meat on top. Woooow. Food for 2 plus and only 15 euros total! Wonderful staff. Insane mojitos as well. Run and try. Very sweet staff also.

Visited today and it was quiet, lacked a market vibe. Quite a few of the places were closed, so it may have been better if we visited another day.

Loved this place. Lot of tiny local places to eat pinchos mostly. You can also do grocery shopping in the morning and enjoy some very nice drinks. Pinchos were in average 2 euros or 2.50

I went twice, once around 10.30 am and another time at 3 pm. Not everything was open, most of the shops were closed when I went there. The mercado is clean and not a big mercado. They have toilets inside, quite clean.

Not what I expected to see in a market. Very small and Many shops were closed when we visited and there were only a few cafes and bar opening. Nothing special.

We were in the Heart of Cuba at the Mercado del Puerto ... and not only was the service remarkable, we enjoyed some great food and cocktails there!
