The food was soo good! The owner is very friendly and cheerful man! The boiled potato with 2 sauces was nice. And chicken fingers were very delicious with honey mustard sauce.

A lot of traditional dishes, big portions and a nice explanation of food from the waiter. Prices were reasonable. Food was delicious and of good quality. Location is good. The waiter was friendly and communicative.

Very nice restaurant run buy guys from Urugay. Best papas arugadas in LAS PALMAS- prepared the right way which is in salt and not just boiled in water. Crocquetas also very tasty, delicious beer. You definately do not want to miss this place. Strongly recommend!

Late lunch, single diner. All of the outside seating was filled, which I would have preferred but was offered my choice of tables inside. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided an English menu and discussed several choices with me. The Empanada Menu was only available in Spanish, but I ordered 3, 1 each, meat, vegetables, and seafood. They were all excellent. The pastry crust was lightly browned, tender, and flakey. They were generously filled and very flavorful. For dessert, I ordered the house specialty. All this was accompanied by a glass of Sangria that was perfectly chilled.

Delicious food with traditional Gran Canarian dishes. You can have half or full plates. Friendly and fast service, and there is outdoor seating. Recommend the tortilla, prawns with garlic, fried squid, croquettes and aubergine with honey. The dessert polvito uruguayo is a must.

Had lunch at Tasca La Picadita and the service and food were both amazing. The waiter was very friendly, helpful and had a big personality. We had the Aubergine with Goats Cheese and Chorizo; Chips and Eggs as main courses and both were amazing and packed with flavour! The desert was also amazing 😍 Would highly recommend and would come again without hesitation.

Their 'lomo alto uruguayo' is amazing. Only beaten by Asutrian restaurants in Asturias. Service was also energetic and amazing

Such a lovely place with simple food with amazing twists (the chicken came with a honey & mustard & dill sauce) and the staff was also really attentive. Given the location and the quality I was surprised by the low prices
