After arriving to Las Piñas in 1795 Father Diego Cera started to build the church made from adobe (volcanic) stones in the Earthquake Baroque architectural style. In 1816, when the stone church was almost complete, he started building the organ made of bamboo and completed the instrument in 1824. The church was destroyed by three earthquakes in 1829, but was quickly restored. Between 1971 and 1975, the church was restored again to bring back the 19th-century look of the church.

Of great historical value and houses the bamboo organ which has been popular and attracts tourists from around the world for years. Great architecture, interiors are well themed too. The church people here just needs reorientation in how to deal with people "politely". I have several experiences with them and they are not accomodating. Nothing has changed in years.

It is a beautiful historical shrine, displaying an unusual functioning bamboo organ built over 100 years ago. The church is beautiful and you can get up close to the organ. It produces beautiful sound. You can also visit the museum that explains the history of the site and the organ. It has a nice courtyard to sit and rest in.

15APR2022 5 STAR 7:52am It was starting to get hot and we are on the third Church for our Visita Iglesia 2022. The was beautiful, it's a very old Baroque style church that was built in 1816. The parking are is small but there's a male giving assistance to visitors so they could park. I like the interior as well as the exterior of the church. We started our prayers with ease. After 30mins we took off.

Attended Mass in Las Pinas to see the national treasure Bamboo Organ. It's great to see especially knowing that it was completed in year 1824. You can hear it played in Sunday Mass (i attended the 6pm mass schedule). The church is also an old heritage church. The sound of the organ is, for me, similar to the more current metal organs, so it's amazing to know that it's made of bamboo. There' also a museum beside the church that one can visit for a fee.

I went here during Bisita inglesia, but sadly I didn't get to see inside because a mass was held adjustcent to this building. After the mass then they will open this place with a procession.

This place is wonderful, i felt like back in time each time I come and visit the area... I also love how they handle my youngest, she enjoyed the school and so good improvement on her interpersonal being. Thank you to the management and teachers of this school, truly remarkable institution.

A trip of history and a sense of wonder and awe. The look and smell of the church is a testament of how old the church is. I cant believe the ceiling of the church is made of bamboo and also pig skins can be seen in some of the really old instruments holding it together, details like these are amazing to behold. Go to the museum pay a cheap admission and support it. Thanks to our tour guide even though we our sweating from our brows we had a wonderful time learning.

The church is over 200 years old. Mass is said in Tagalog. The organ is made entirely of bamboo and it plays beautifully. The ceiling and pews are made of bamboo as well. The beautiful lanterns are made of capiz (oyster shells).

(Translated by Google) A church with the oldest bamboo organ in the world. You can hear the sound of the bamboo organ at the mass of the church. There is a museum where you can learn about the history of the Bamboo Organ. If you have a mini-bamboo organ and unfortunately couldn't hear the sound of the organ in the church, please enjoy the sound of the mini-bamboo organ in the museum. Students often volunteer to guide the museum, so if you give them a small tip, they will be happy.
