The Village Square - Alabang

Shopping center

👍 A small, cozy mall midway SM Southmall and ATC. Grocery shopping via SM is adequate. They also have a sort of food court where you can try food from goto to iced coffee. The gyoza cart was good. A lot of options for a quick bite. Restaurants available are Gilligan's, Bonchon, a Chinese resto, Dam... People often mention mall, good, shops, stores, malls, plants,

A small, cozy mall midway SM Southmall and ATC. Grocery shopping via SM is adequate. They also have a sort of food court where you can try food from goto to iced coffee. The gyoza cart was good. A lot of options for a quick bite. Restaurants available are Gilligan's, Bonchon, a Chinese resto, Dampa, and a few others. There is a Cebuana Lhullier and some other non food shops. Paid parking slots were ample. Great place to chill.

This mall is quite pleasant, and it doesn't have much people in it. I can see the organized queue for vaccination on the second floor. Lots of interesting shops not commonly found in bigger, more mainstream malls.

It's a nice place. Very clean, especially the restrooms. The restaurants are a bit lacking, you won't find the perfect date restaurant here. It's mostly for plant buyers and enthusiasts. There aren't really recreational areas here but the ambience is beautiful. It's perfect for a photo shoot!

Great mall. Just a bit small. I like how it promotes sustainability and care for nature. Also, there's a place to buy old/classic items. Good place to hang out while waiting for your bike being cleaned/serviced.

Nice quaint place. Very beautiful interior. Lots of food stall options, so it is the perfect place to stop by for a quick meal. Also, there is a grocery. The location is perfect for those living in the South area.

Bless them, they try...😬 More shops are beginning to open, better for consumers. SM Hypermarket could be better managed tho'...I went there early than my usual trip and found one cashier open to serve the people. That's from 12 counters on show...😒

The mall gives a nature's vibe. They have few selection of stores yet the grocery at the groud floor will supply your basic needs. A great place for quick meet ups. If you love a nature's vibe, this is a good place to visit. You can work at the second floor for menial jobs since they have space for it. There are bar and billiards too that you can of course enjoy during free time. Vibe: 5/5 Store selection: 3/5 Comfort room: Clean 5/5 Child and PWD friendly: 5/5

Where Toyota Alabang once stood is now The Village Square. Nice quaint little mall with many shops, restaurant, and a grocery. This is also where you can get a tricycle going into BF Homes and BF Intl. Not too many people here which I like, but also makes me worry if the shops and mall itself will stay in business in the years to come

The place has an impressive 'nature' vibe to it that is unique to other malls in the area. The AC when I visited wasn't the best and most areas outside of enclosed stores were pretty warm. I appreciate all the open spaces to sit. If you're going here for plants, the selection is fine. Just don't expect too much variety in both plants and soil mixes (the latter of which you're better off buying from more dedicated stores). The Billiards bar has a live band that you will either enjoy or just find noisy when you're just looking to work or to relax. If you haven't been here before, I definitely recommend it for a change of pace. It is pet friendly but your pet needs an ID. But, do be careful not to let your pet eat any of the plants, they may be toxic to them (and I don't imagine the vendors would be too pleased lol).

Great place to have a quiet and peaceful time. If you love plants and stuff for your house, this is the place to be. Not crowded and they also have supermarket and Starbucks.

Greener Village Square as they have lots of Plants for sale in the mall. I love its new vibe, though merchants are now few due to pandemic. They are still Phylsys National ID registration as of this writing. 5 yo below can be registered. We are all encouraged to have this card for future use. Just bring 2 valid ID's. For students - Birth certificate and student ID.

Clean small mall, yet it appears like nothing transacts to the store except 7-11, because almost all stores inside are closee. The nearby P99 chinese Ranch Store is available.

(Update Mar. 2022) My first time to drop by again since the COVID pandemic started, and apparently what I said in my original post about the variety of shops inside no longer applies. It seems that the owners have decided to cater to the huge number of people who have taken to growing plants while homebound during lockdowns. Almost all the shops are horticulturally oriented, and only the coffee shop and restaurants, plus the supermarket, are left over from my last visit. (Original post Aug. 2019) One of the many small scale malls that’s built adjunct to a branch of SM Hypermarket, which is at the far end of the mall. Styling is like many of the full scale malls, with a more casual touch from the generally warehouse-like milieu. Definitely a step up from those seedy strip malls. Stores inside are typical of mall offerings, where you can buy clothes, shoes, electronics, etc., and grab a bite to eat. Note to foreigners: Hypermarket is how the local SM chain of malls brands their supermarkets.
