Excellent, calm and clean beach right off the road in El Portillo. You may miss it if you're not careful. You can drive your car into the sand and park. There's a small, shallow, sand-based river that flows into the beach that makes for a quite refreshing time. There are no vendors, no food nor accommodations, just calm, great waters that you can walk in for meters and still be only knee-deep in water. Totally recommended!

Love the beach and small dining place next to parking area. Water is vary between very low level and nice deep swim. Great place for snorkeling too! There is really cold small stream merging the ocean. Palm trees, nature there is just amazing. Spent few hours today and didn’t wanna return to capital at all. My second favorite beach in Dominican Republic. Must to visit. But try weekdays with no crowds 🙈🏖👙🐠🦀 It’s pet friendly too 🐶🐶🐶

Beautiful shallow and calm waters. Many little fish and sea creatures to keep kids (and adults!) fascinated for hours. No real facilities, but lovely natural area.

Great beach that you can drive your car onto the sand and park. The water is typically very calm and the water is clear for snorkeling. We saw lots of fish around the reefs in the water. We also found lots of beautiful shells underwater

My mom and uncles basically, Everyone was like going crazy for the sandwich.. it was kinda dry and I don't see the big deal. It's just ok and dry... I thought it was going to be a Cuban sandwich with a Dominican twist... 3 out of 5 stars. Now the juices we're great and I loved the fries. I will come back and order something else.

Shallow, clear water, soft sand, great for toddlers & accesible for the aged and disabled. It also has a small fresh water creek that opens into the ocean that is slightly colder than ocean water but very tolerable.

So far the most beautiful beach in DR for me. It is paradise for kids, shallow water without big wawes, plenty of shade, crystal clear river meets the ocean(combination of cold fresh water and warm ocean water). Amazing place, strongly recommend!
