One of those better places to eat at this part of Terrenas :) Very Italian vibes, prices a little bit higher than in other places around but I have to say I really liked my black rissoto . The view from the terrace is unforgettable. Check the bill before you pay :) We had some bad counting experience with the waitress 🤭

Ignore the other "best in Las Terraneas" claims... this place is amazing. Real ingredients, real food, enough said. My wife had the risotto and I had the red snapper. I mean, come on... I didn't know snapper could taste this good. Bonus number two, they use salt and pepper properly during the cooking process. The food was literally the best we had while we were there. Oh, and the margaritas... just say yes. Bonus three and arguably the most important... the employees were naturally happy to be there and enjoy what they were doing. I don't care how good the food is, if it's not accompanied with love it all just a waste of time. INSERT: Wifey here. I second and third everything my husband said. I would also like to add that I loved their tomatoes, which doesn't sound like a big accomplushment, but I hate, HATE tomatoes. With a passion. But even their tomatoes we were amazing and I LOVED them. Words don't do justice to how fantastic and unique this place is!

Nice ambiance, they accommodated our large group nicely. The food was good, every was great except for the creamed pasta I could’ve skipped. Very nice experience, they food does take some time to come out, which was really no problem because the drinks and apps were nice.

Food is great and prices are very reasonable in comparison to other restaurants in the area. The only thing that could improve is the finer points of service.

First let me say that I have worked in restaurants and in The service industries for years. We were on vacation for my daughter 25th birthday. We ordered two appetizers (mind you the waitress RECOMMENDED both) and I one of the appetizers NO ONE LIKED IT! We called the waitress and asked if we can please change it for something else because it was really disgusting (in our opinion and there’s 5 of us). She called the “manager” and they said we can order another appetizer BUT we would still have to pay for the appetizers that we didn’t eat! At this point we asked for the check and as we were leaving they called the owner. We thought that he would fix the problem but he said the same thing. He said if we paid in cash he would give us a “discount “!!!! As if we were asking for a discount? It was NEVER about the money! It was my daughter’s 25th birthday and all we wanted was good food and drinks!!! The appetizers cost 990.00 Dominican money witch is 19.00 US dollars!!! We had not even ordered our main entrees!!!! They lost a party of 5 over 19.00 dollars!!! We paid for our drinks, the ONE appetizer that we ate and we tipped 40% even tho the service was HORRIBLE!!! We ended up five minutes down the road to Porto by Mosquito and it was 10000000X better anyways!!! It’s a shame that this happened because we spent one entire week in Las Terrenas and this was our only negative experience. Will never go to this restaurant ever again!!!

Beautiful restaurant, excellent food, the service was friendly, the prices are high but correspond to the quality. The only thing that was very disappointing was the absence of a classic menu. The only one available is online through the app, which is absolutely insufficient. We came as a group of 8 people, 4 of whom were of retirement age without a phone and it took us almost 40 minutes to choose our food from the tablet that was brought to us... One tablet for 8 people is really not enough. The inconvenience of no food menu annoyed us perfectly. I don't understand why a restaurant that presents itself as the best in Las Terrenas doesn't have a menu?

What are the hallmarks of a good, great, dining experience? For me, it is the Cuisine, the Service, the Welcoming feel, and friendliness of the Staff. Le Tre Caravelle hit all of these benchmarks. Today, my table mates had : - coconut shrimp - goat cheese - goat cheese, accompanied with white rice All delicious. Make it a dining experience while here.

Le Tre Caravelle is the best restaurant in Las Terrenas. I totally recommended, the owner is very very nice, great service, staff is amazingly nice and the food is out of this world! I had the Fish Dorado Filete with Lemon and White Wine and let me tell you it was amazing! I Will come back to try more from the menu! Thank you to all the staff and the owner for the amazing experience.

Staff was polite and prompt, but some of the food was a little disappointing… the burato appetizer was a bit boring and the toasted bread was stale. The jumbo shrimp thermidor was very salty. I had tuna 3-ways… tataki, sashimi and tartar, which was good. The crème brûlée was good, but the tiramisu was a bit watery and had very little cream. For the expense (pricey), we were disappointed. Not top on our list. The atmosphere was nice though.

Tu a tartar is amazing! Tostones are delicious and the staff are attentive and respectful! I would recommend this restaurant!! Beautiful as it’s right off the beach and tables with umbrellas for those hot days.

We found this restaurant in our travels and it was busy which is a good sign so we stopped in for a pasta dish and I can say I was not disappointed, we didn’t get dessert but had my husband go back a week later to pick up just dessert and that was amazing to. Service was a little slow and I asked for a side of parm cheese that never came but all in all a good experience

I really don’t know why so many give this place glaring reviews and even call the best in town. We had better food and service in every single other place. Pasta was blend. Drinks were super sweet, service was really the worst. And the place is right on the road

One of the best dinners in Las Terrenas. Service was prompt, attentive and professional, the food very tasty. Gnocchi with eggplant was my favourite, also the beef carpaccio and the smoked sardines. The cocktails were really good too.

The food is ok. The atmosphere alright. The service not bad either. We arrived around 9pm and the place was packed. No parking in site. We took out cars down the road and walked back. We came to celebrate my birthday dinner and two more birthdays. We ordered small children's food first and then ordered ours. BUT, FROM THERE THE WAIT PROLONGED TO AN ETERNITY OF MORE THAN AN HOUR...THE SMALL CHILDREN DROPPED TO DEEP SLEEP... 😴 This is our only small complaint.

Wow!! This place is awesome!! Everyone was super attentive and friendly and helpful. It's an authentic Italian restaurant but they do things with food here that is just out of this world. Just the presentation of the dishes is amazing! They have a fantastic wine selection as well and the desert are great. Will definitely be back!

We had a group of four that visited this place and it was amazing. From the service to the food, it was all 5 stars. The coconut shrimp and ceviche are great suggestions and the coconut mojito was amazing!

Went for dinner tonight with my wife. Just bad all around in so many ways. Waitress wanted to rush our drink, appetizers and dinner order within one minute. No water ever offered. Kitchen and wait staff were super unorganized and dinners being brought out to the wrong tables or half a table would get their food 15 minutes before the other half of the table. Other patrons waving down the wait staff in frustration. We ordered the chocolate fondu desert and cappuccino. No cappuccino ever came out yet it was still on the bill. Asked for it to be removed and the owner brought the bill back with coffee and did not remove the charge. This was about 30 minutes after desert was long gone and us asking for rye coffee to be removed. Just chaos and bad service all around. For spending about $100 on dinner, I’d expect much better.

Excellent restaurant and service… we were there on a Thursday night, we sat a the terrace which i would recomend… the service was i have had in any place in the DR… food was good, the entrees need to be revised as some of them are not so good at least not to my taste. Main dishes were awesome!
