The place was exactly like the pictures, but even better! The staff was friendly and personable. The accommodations were just perfect. It was like living the dream life on the beautiful uncrowded beach with friendly people from all over the world. The water was see-through and warm. The entire place was sparkling clean. I wanted to improve my Spanish and everyone was so willing to talk to me! I can't say enough nice things about it! It was my first time out of the U.S. and now I wish I lived there!

I saw a rat on the food and I told the receptionist it was a rat on top of the food and he took it as a joke he said nothing to worry about. that the rats live there and the this is a tropical island and that there are all types of animals. this place me look clean but unfortunately they don't care about people health. lots of people including kids have died because of rats urine and for me this is not a joke. they should take this more seriously.I will never go to this place again I did not even check in in this place

We just stopped here to eat at the restaurant. The food was not great. My wife’s Cesar’s salad came with creamy Italian dressing. They delivered my order to a different customer so My wife had to eat her salad while I waited for the kitchen to to prepare my meal again. Bad service, no communication between them. The view was beautiful though.

Best beach bar in town of the 5 right on the beach from portillo side to ballenas side....pricing and service best on average... Mosquito beach bar way down other side too but bit higher pricing...

Great to relax your mind and great environment, right in front of the beach. The staff was very helpful in every possible way they could attend to the guest (us). I'll be back soon :)

It definitely wasn't a five star hotel. But listen, I liked it. Right near the beach, and a room that could fit me and my other two sisters. And affordable. It had an air con. For the price, it was just what I was looking for. I wish they could clean up a little though. It has potential but maybe I went during the off season.

My 1-2-3 for this beautiful hotel boutique: 1) It is accommodating to bring good family and kids. They have family villas available 2) They are right in front the beach, just some steps away (priceless!) 3) They have a pool inside the hotel, perfect for when you don't want to go out at night They have GREAT customer service!

We stayed there for 3 days. Nice and clean Apartments. The restaurant where you war the Breakfast is right on beach. For lunch and dinner you can order a La carte. The food is very nice and tasty and good quallity. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

We only used the restaurant, but on frequent basis during our stay. Mostly due to its location and large tables on the beach. Food was average and so are prices. We were unlucky only once to get wrong order and have bad service - most of the days everything was ok. Fair selection of foods and drinks, but you may need to wait a while before you get served. We tried hamburger (no difference between angus and national, so we sticked with cheaper one), ceasar salad (which was nothing special), calamari fried and grilled (got them cold), chicken breast file (which my kid loved),... It is very convenient that they also serve on the beach at sunbeds! We loved this.

Room looks and feel well clean. The lobby is in front of the beach. Free WiFi. **Update Review** Gave 4 stars, now -2. Bad night. Lights went off and the backup generators don't support air conditioning :(
