We come to Vegas often and lately we've always stayed downtown and always stayed at the Golden Nugget. We love this hotel. Lots of different kinds of room options, good food choices, and really nice pool area. Right on Fremont Street. Easy to get to other casinos without having to walk miles like you do out on the strip. It's definitely a party atmosphere downtown. In the past we've always stayed in the Carson Towers because those are the cheapest rooms, but this time we decided to upgrade to the Rush Tower. We will probably stay in the Rush Tower for now on. Although Carson is okay, we like the Rush rooms a bit better and there are refrigerators and coffee makers in the rooms. Carson Tower is further from Fremont Street so quieter. But we were able to get a room in the Rush Tower on the strip side away from Fremont Street. Be sure to specify that you want a quiet room, especially if you opt for the Gold Tower which is the "middle" option in terms of price. Overall we really recommend the Golden Nugget.

If I could give negative stars, I would! We stayed January 27, 2023 and had three rooms with family. When we went to take a shower at 11:30 PM the sink backed up with black smelly sewage water. I called down to the guest service and she sent up maintenance right away. Maintenance tried to plunge the sink, but that only made matters worse. he told us we were going to have to move rooms. I talked to guest service and told them I wanted to stay on the same floor since I was with family she said that was not possible I would have to move down to the fifth or eighth floor away from my family and they are offering me a $43 resort fee Credit for the night. I told her that was unacceptable for a huge inconvenience and moving to a different floor and different room. She said she did not like my tone and was hanging up on me! I called back and asked for the front desk manager he was very nice and apologetic and found a room on the same floor with my family but again he said they can only offer us $43 resort fee Credit for the night but he would throw in a $50 food credit! I told him that was ridiculous, and that I should be compensated for the room fee since we were having to pack up and move to a different room and it is now midnight. He told me there was nothing he could do. The next morning I talked to the front desk manager, and he said the same thing. He could not compensate the room fee for the night only the resort fee. Do not ever stay at this Hotel, they do not have any guest service knowledge and they don’t care! You are just a number to them! The rooms are outdated and there are no outlet plugs in the rooms!! You have to plug in your phone in the bathroom to charge your phone!! Stay across the street at the Circa!

I had a blast in the Golden Nugget casino floor. The place was buzzing with energy and excitement, and I felt like I was in the heart of Vegas. The casino had a great variety of games, from slots and video poker to table games and live poker. I enjoyed playing roulette and craps, and I even won some money. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the drinks were flowing. The casino was crowded, but that added to the fun vibe and the thrill of gambling. I loved the atmosphere and the entertainment, and I can't wait to go back. The Golden Nugget is one of my favorite casinos in Vegas. 😊

Didn't stay here but had the buffet. The bill was only 23 for brunch which was a great price including drinks. The staff was extremely attentive and made sure everyone remembered to wear masks. It was very clean and they kept the food fresh and hot. The omelette bar was great and carving station was good also. There aren't any crab legs but I didn't miss it because all the food tasted great. I must say, nothing tasted like buffet food and I really didn't expect that. Could have had more selections as other larger buffet but this hotel is older and small. This was a Pleasant surprise. I will definitely be back

Being the pandemic going on there is no room service which baffles me because of how busy this place is. I will say our room was fantastic and extremely comfortable. If your a gambler, this is your hotel. If you want to get lost, this is your hotel too 😂🤣😊 Fremont st it a hop skip and a jump in front of you and all the local sights are close. I would totally come back to this spot. Happy hunting when you come to Vegas 😁

Best place to stay if you want to experience Las Vegas during the night. Fremont St. Experience was unlike anything else I've seen before and it is just beside the hotel. The rooms were big enormous and service were awesome. Everything you need is at N arms reach. The security is strict, you need a valid room rfid if you're going to access the elevator going up.

Our stay has been okay. The rooms are fine (Carson Tower) but not having a coffee maker is a first for us. The staff is friendly enough. The pool has potential to be really great but the chairs are packed together so tightly that you're bumping elbows with strangers. The pool hours are 9-7. 7:00 is super early to close a pool at a resort where you pay crazy fees for such amenities. The restaurants are horrible for what you're paying - especially the Cadillac. Waiters are nice though. The location is great. Drink prices are absolutely insane but it is Vegas...so it's not the worst but far from the best.

First time staying here and although this is one of the older hotels on the classic strip, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The rooms have some upgrades in the bathrooms which add a nice touch. Overall, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. One of the things I liked most was the pool with the sharks. We didn't get in because it was very crowded. But that was to be expected for spring break. The hotel is close to everything or has what you need inside. We will definitely stay here when we bring the kids.

My stay here was pretty decent, (July 20-24, 2022). I stayed in the Carson Tower. I love the location of the hotel and the available restaurants. Claim Jumper was really good. CONS: I don't like the fact the pool closes so early at 7, I would much rather have the pool close at a later time, like 10 since I'm paying for it as part of a resort fee. I didn't like the rooms not having a microwave/refrigerator. The air in the room could have been colder and I had to keep asking for hand rags to wash with. As soon as you get of the elevator you have people hounding you about time shares and signing up for other things. Bathroom was kind of small PROS: My room had a nice view of the strip, the room was clean and had daily housekeeping (upon request). Restaurants were good Claim Jumper, Chick-Fil-A, Fremont Street Experience is steps away from hotel and plenty of things to do there. I would definitely stay here again, just in another tower. (My parents stayed in the Rush Tower, so beautiful). Hotel has potential and in a great location!

Love, love, love the Nugget!!!!! A true home away from home. All the staff are so friendly and helpful no matter where you are in the Hotel. I also noticed, a lot! of the staff have worked there for years, which I hope is a good sign they're a good company to work for. A great hotel downtown, I recommend it hands down over the places on the strip. The pool experience is terrific!!! Enjoy your stay

The room was roomy and beds were comfortable. No coffee pots, no fridges, no microwaves. The bathroom ventilation is HORRIBLE. after a shower, literally everything in there was wet with moisture, even with the fan running. There was mildew on the on the bathroom ceiling. You can definitely tell the room and bathrooms don't get "fully" cleaned. If you book through a 4rd party, be ready to still pay all resort fees at check in as they don't get charged originally. The location is decent for night life, not too many in-hotel options for eating on Sundays. Be prepared to wait an hour in the Starbucks line. Oh, if you want your room cleaned during your stay, you MUST call 24 hours in advance to notify housekeeping, it's not a standard thing to do there.

As I discovered, the Golden Nugget is a Las Vegas historical fixture! It's a nice, traditional hotel. It's not modern and glitzy but it's classic in its design. Our room in the Rush tower was newly remodeled and quite nice. It was very clean and well maintained by the housekeeping staff. The conference center was nice as well. Lots of various size conference rooms. Kudos to Robert, the IT guru who prevented a technological disaster during our presentation to the Women Marines Association. There's a good variety of restaurants inside the hotel. Actually, enough to not have to leave the property if undesired. Lastly, the pool is the coolest I've ever seen in a hotel! There's a giant shark tank in the middle of it with a water slide going through the tank! Awesome 😎

I highly don't recommend the downtown area but if you are going to do it this would be a good hotel. Really great customer service at the front desk. The room was nice. Although there was road construction from 1:00 to 2:00 a.m. with a jackhammer. The bed is really comfortable. The housekeeping was super nice. The surrounding areas outside the hotel are not real kid friendly and it's pretty dirty. However this location is convenient if you want to be in the downtown area.

This place is garbage. Room didn't even have a coffee maker in it. Even the crappiest motel has a coffee maker! The ventilation is horrible, so the whole place is smokey. The table games are a rip-off. You are forced to place a $2 side bet on ALL blackjack tables, or you can't play. The only way to win the "side bet" is if you get a blackjack. It's basically a fee to play because a side bet should be optional. I was looking forward to at least using the pool and guess what? It's closed of course, even though it was 85 degrees while I was there. This casino allows a time share company to harass you EVERY TIME you try to get to the elevator to go to your room. They will not leave you alone. There's no service to be seen and the hot water went out completely on the day we were leaving, so no shower before our drive home. I have never been to a worse hotel/casino and I definitely won't be wasting my money here ever again. Circa across the street is a great gambling experience, it's not smokey and I'm not choking everytime I walked in, the restaurants are amazing and although I haven't seen the rooms I'm sure they are great just by seeing the rest of the place. Avoid the Golden Nugget is all I can say.

What a great hotel!! Super immaculately clean room, service, especially front desk check lady, Dee! She made the very start of my stay amazing just with her kindness, humor and great service. Way bigger hotel than I thought it was, great food options, huge casino floor, pretty loose slots. Definitely need to come back when the pool is open, it looks beautiful. Shark tank was awesome! Highly recommended

Check-in was an absolute nightmare. Once that was over, Golden Nugget was perfect. This iconic hotel and casino is a haven for excitement and entertainment. The lively atmosphere, accompanied by a wide selection of games and slots, creates an electrifying experience for every visitor. The accommodations at Golden Nugget were luxurious and inviting. The rooms exuded elegance and comfort, providing a serene retreat amidst the vibrant Las Vegas energy. The resort's amenities were top-notch, with a stunning pool area. Relaxing by the pool or enjoying a refreshing swim was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring Las Vegas. Golden Nugget's prime location in downtown Las Vegas allowed for easy access to nearby attractions, shows, and nightlife. The convenient proximity to the iconic Fremont Street Experience added an extra layer of excitement to the overall experience.

Overall good experience, staff is nice and very helpful. Elevators in main tower are always being worked on so sometimes the Elevator takes forever. Rooms are nice and upgraded enough, but air-conditioning needs some upgrades they are on constantly and never were able to get the room cold enough to turn off. My room temperature never went below 71 and thermostat was set to 60. Location is great of course there is plenty of things to do just right outside the hotel with Freemont street experience, live bands at night and plenty of food and drinks. Overall not bad for an old Casino and Hotel just remember to check out the awesome pool! It has an aquarium that has a slide going straight through the center!!

Hotel appears to be very family friendly, however it can feel a bit too crowded. We expected more with the quality of the rooms. The dining and food quality was excellent as was the casino staff. The hotel was located in a good location with easy access to other areas like the strip. Overall, it was a bit too busy for my taste and the hotel room could have been a lot better for the price.

This wasn't our first trip to Vegas so we knew what to expect downtown. The Nugget was clean, affordable, and well maintained. We stayed in the Carson Tower and didn't have any issues with noise from the street. Checkin was kind if a nightmare, though. There is ALWAYS a long line to check in and there are no digital options to avoid the desk. We spent 45 minutes just waiting in line to check in. I will say the staff was all very kind and efficient. There just didn't seem to be enough space for the number of people wanting to check in. There are security guards that scan your room key before you can get to the elevator banks for each tower. The gentleman at our tower literally had his head leaned back against the wall, and his eyes closed. When we walked up, he said nothing even after we spoke first. He just pointed to the scanner. Seems like on a Friday night, security might be a little more efficient if their head was in the game. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return again. Location can't be beat, and parking was super easy.

Service is great, always attentive and nice. Rooms are pretty standard and clean, no fridges in the Carson tower. Plenty of water bottles and I have heard room service will bring you more if you ask. The check in was pretty crowded when we arrived, but we were moved to another desk down the way to alleviate the traffic, that was pretty nice. The rep that helped us at the front desk was having a birthday, and enthusiastically gave us suggestions on the strip for our kiddo. Overall loved the service, rooms were standard. 8/10 would stay again.

The wait for check-in was over an hour, we were there shortly after 3. They appear to be severely understaffed but the place was absolutely packed. Also, unlike some of the nicer hotels/ casinos, they were not enforcing Nevada’s mask mandate. We upgraded for a larger room in a nicer tower which was great, but the carpeted floor was soaking wet. At the point of waiting in line for an hour already and having no one to ask, we just lived with it and wore our shoes. Overall this is a fairly tired, old hotel with mediocre service at best.

One star for the hotel itself. The staff was hit or miss but everyone was reasonably polite. There's not much to this area. If you enjoy times square NYC you will love the "atmosphere" here. Las Vegas is a collective attempt at fleecing visitors. They charge you 60 dollars a day to use a mini fridge, 12 for a Keurig machine. Most places this is a given, here it's an upgrade. The hotel is a mixture of drab and well worn with a splash of filthiness. Stuff doesn't work things are peeling off the walls they can't even put the hot and cold labels on right for the showers. We had our room upgraded, to something of a more reasonable standard. There's not much to do at the hotel and there's not much to see either.

Great value hotel right on Fremont st. Booked through TMobile and got a junior suite for only about $40/day. Only reason for deduction of a star is the major inconveniences and annoyances from COVID-19. I hope to visit again and have a more natural and satisfying experience. Poker room is much smaller than expected.

I booked this hotel because I wanted to stay off the Strip, and I'm glad I did. The deluxe room was clean and comfortable. There were a good selection of restaurants. The happy hour at Chart House was excellent. The casino itself was not overwhelmingly big and Fremont Street is always exciting at night. You should expect to hear some noise from Fremont Street from your hotel. Parking for hotel guests is also complimentary. This is a great hotel if you're tired of the Strip and want to experience something different. I didn't have high expectations when I booked this trip and was prepared for staffing shortages, longer wait times, vendors closed, and no daily room service. However, I was very pleased with all the interaction I had with staff - from check-in and on the casino floor.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff members were all polite and did what they could to help. I had a little mishap with the housekeeper coming in when they weren't supposed to but the main desk was very apologetic about it. It's very close to Fremont and the pool is awesome. Overall, I loved the entire experience and will be back again the next time I'm in Vegas!

We have had a great stay! Gambling is way more affordable than the strip and it has a positive atmosphere! The drink servers never seemed to come around while we gambled and we did for hours at black jack tables near the bar 42. Rooms were a good deal for the price

Fremont Street can be loud, and they close the slide through the shark tank at 4, but the rooms are clean, the pool is very nice, and it's surprisingly quiet as long as you don't get a room over Fremont. The beds are soft, plenty of comfy pillows that don't go flat half way through the night. Even their roll away bed are comfy. The toilets flush surprisingly fast. Wish they had bigger and more towels in the room.

Now I did not stay in a hotel room so I cannot rate those because I came for the casino. And I absolutely loved it. The table game minimums were nice and low and I could play without wiping out my bankroll instantly. The dealers were very kind and professional. Cocktail waitresses were constantly checking on the tables and keeping our drinks filled. Most of the slot machines are very new and even though I didn't win anything on the slots I did see people winning. Unlike the other casinos I went to this week. Honestly I think if you want at least somewhat of a chance to win this is the casino. If you're into table games and you don't want to pay more than $5 minimum bets this is the casino. Also I was able to get a electric scooter for my mother who has some issues getting around. It cost me $65 for the day. I will say that the daily rates are cheaper the longer you rent it. The Mexican restaurant was good and I have no complaints there. The next time I visit Las Vegas I would like to try out their hotel rooms.

Very cool experience to be in a swimming pool next to an aquarium with fish and sharks! The water slide was a good time and everyone young and old were going on it. We reserved 4 lounge chairs as we were staying at a different hotel but wanted the kids to experience the pool. The cost was $70 per chair so for 4 of us was $140, plus $25 for parking. They provided towels and had a washroom for changing into our suits. It was open 10-6. We got there right for 10 and it was fault quiet but picked up a lot after noon. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and nachos for lunch, both were not good so I don’t recommend those. Overall it was a very memorable time for our family vacation.

I have stayed multiple times in here. The location is perfect since it is in the heart of Fremont. This last time I was assigned a very old room I would say, it was for handicap probably. The sink was not fancy at all, in fact you can tell it was old. The sink would leak water from underneath when on. I mean, not a big deal as the room was only 40 dollars for the night. I must say, in the past I have been upgraded upon my arrival and I got better rooms. More upgraded and bigger. The pool is probably one of the best ones if not the best one around due to its giant aquarium which makes it perfect for families with kids to enjoy. I never had problems with the staff, they're usually friendly and helpful. I hope this helps. I would recommend to stay here.

The nugget is the second best property downtown. The room qualities vary a lot by which tower you’re in. This stay was in the least of the three, the Carson. It was a clean comfortable room with no coffee maker (normal for Vegas). The other towers can be much nicer, but you’ll pay for the privilege. The hotel and casino have something for everyone. An aquarium surrounding the pool creates a wait for access. All the food options are great. We’ve stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.

So we stayed here last week for four days and well it had been a long time since we spent time in this part of Vegas but we had family in town staying down this way. So first we pulled in had a nice parking garage right behind the hotel and when we got to the front desk the gentleman behind the counter was very nice. He noticed that I had just had knee surgery of some kind and told us about changing our room so we had a fridge and a better room with a couch where I could keep my leg up. Thank you for that. The casino is very nice and the smell of smoke is very light compared to the rest of the casinos down this way. The staff was all friendly, they have many choices of restaurants to choose from . The pool area is beautiful and the rooms were very nice . We would definitely stay here again if we were in this part of Vegas.

We've been visting Las Vegas a lot in the last couple of years and for a change we decided to spend a couple nights on Fremont. After reading some reviews we opted for the Golden Nugget, what a great choice! Upon checking into our room I gave the gentleman at the desk our Landry's card and he was able to upgrade us to a junior suite. What a fantastic room! Being a corner room we had two views, one of the pool and then one of Fremont looking towards to D. The room modern, stylish and clear. I would stay here again anytime, add in the party atmosphere of Fremont and the fact that it is half the price of staying on the strip and you can't loose. We also ate at one of the restaurants downstairs which was delicious and even though it was too cold to swim we did get a chance to wander around the pool and get a good look at the sharks. I highly recommend staying at the Golden Nugget. oh and the pillows and the shower were amazing!

We went to see a concert & there’s nowhere better then the small, intimate Showroom. There’s also a fantastic large pool area with huge swim through waterslide fish tank. Great place to hang out! Only problem is the insane Parking price of $25 daily & $50 on weekends! We were supposed to get our parking validated, since we were there to see the concert. But after a long run around the casino, not a single person knew how to actually validate us! It was a huge, time consuming hassle that never got resolved & resulted in us having to pay the $50 parking! This is insane. You obviously care more about $ then your guests are are unwilling to accommodate them even after promising them you would! Very bad business Golden Nugget. We won’t ever go back unless you remedy the situation & CAN NOT, in good faith, recommend it either! Too bad so much potential… 🙄🙁

I enjoyed my stay here because 1. The rooms are clean 2. It smells good when you walk in from outside and 3. Not just anyone can use the elevators. You need to have a room key. I feel a little on the fence about the pool area. It's definitely beautiful and a must see if you stay here, but it's way to small and can't accommodate the hotel guests. The bar is pretty tucked away and the drinks are minimal. It's hard to enjoy a drunk in the pool without getting pool water in it because the kids are playing splashing games. Overall the staff was friendly except for 1 lady (didn't catch her name) when we were first checking in. My sister and I walked up to her after the people before us walked away and she rudely said ( I'm not ready for you yet!) in an irritated tone. It just sucked that being our first interaction with a staff member .

I wouldn't recommend staying here right now. The hotel rooms are infested with crickets and grass hoppers. We stayed here for my bachelorette party and found a bunch of crickets in the four rooms we had. We called and they came and cleaned up about 20 that day just in my room alone. The next day they were all back, some we even found in the beds and our luggage. After a couple of us from different rooms talked to the front desk the best they would do is comp a service room fee for one night. They said it was a problem with the state and nothing they could do about it. After talking to people who stayed across the street at the Circa they had no bug problems at all. The location is great, the pool is great but the rooms were gross. It's a good place to visit for the pool experience but I wouldn't recommend staying there.

We always love our stays at the Nugget. The only reason for 4 stars this time is on check out day the elevators were malfunctioning and after a 30-45 minute wait for the elevator to come we ended up having to hike down 12 floors by way of the stairs carrying all of our luggage. My spouse has broken his back 2x in the past and this was extremely hard on him physically and it caused injury to my hip that is still causing me pain over 2 weeks later (would have been an amazing gesture of the house had instructed housekeeping to escort guests to a service elevator instead). Other than this our stay was amazing and all the personnel were professional and on point.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Pretty easy check-in. The pool is nice with in pool service. Just a heads up, e-cigarettes are not allowed in the pool area. Traditional cigarettes, cigars, and joints are fine. Must be the electronics. Mine was taken and held at the security station inside. They said they were going to be getting signs. The security guard was very kind. Just embarrassing on my part.

Boyfriend and I had never been to vegas as 21+ adults. I booked nugget and we had no idea it was on Fremont until we got there, it was convenient but also so fun! Our room was a standard king bed room, it was roomy! Had a vanity which is awesome for us girls. Room service was so nice and everything. Valet and the guy who came to get our luggage. Everybody was so nice. The pool was awesome too! I was not expecting the casino areas to smell like cigarettes. It bothered me allergy wise, so be sure to take allergy pills if you’re the same way. I ended up taking mine and we went a did a little bit of slots. Walked Fremont at night and it was gorgeous. 10/10 would stay at nugget again.

The place is super nice. Came here for a convention for my business. Didn't stay at the hotel. Just was in the convention center, and the pool area. Came back to Fremont another year and was hanging out in and outside of the Golden Nugget and I had so much fun. I didn't interact with anyone that worked there. Just drank and smoked and walked around.

Well renovated with comfortable and spacious suites. The Rush Tower is the better choice if one doesn't want to party all night long (or listen to the party). A good amount of restaurants and bars to pick from but also directly on Fremont with lots of other options. The Pool area and the water slide that's letting you slide "through" the huge fish tank is amazing. The spa is cozy and the massage package was well worth it. The casino floors are spacious and not cramped. Countless slot machines and plenty of live tables for Poker, Black Jack, Craps, Roulette,.. The only issue as non smokers was the air. Compared to the super high ceiling casinos on the strip, air quality is poor.

Stayed in the Carson Tower. The 2 king beds were more like full beds. There is no coffee or microwave in room. The pool closes around September and may not open until March. They say to call and check. On the upside, it is retro but clean. The chandeliers and decorations are elegant. There are marble tiles and retro carpet. The carpet is clean and in good condition. The pool is outdoor and a shark tank with a tube to slide through it is a main attraction, but you can pay an admission fee to get in. It smells like perfume and smoke when entering the lobby, which is expected of a casino. There is no free airport shuttle. You have to pay for the shuttle.

Our first room was not clean, no wifi available at all, light from the rooftop was in the room all night. I complained the next day and we were moved to a beautiful room in another tower. The person that looked after us was so nice and understanding. This is our second stay at the golden nugget and although dated, it’s still a fun hotel.

The employees that work here are rude, unintelligent, and incompetent. I never had an experience like this six years ago when I was here. Vegas is terrible now after COVID. Instead of having Juan from rewards yelling repeatedly, "no minors at this area, he can't be here;" and causing problems for us; he should had said, "Sir, may I see your ID, please;" courteously. I'm not blind and I know how to read a stupid sign at the desk and I'm DEFINITELY NOT A MINOR! Whom stated I was one?! The staff here don't know how to greet or address their valued guests politely like they use too and just judge people base on their appearance. Other casinos respect their valued guests better. Hospitality is vacant here!

Wife and I stay here all the time. Love the food choices. Location is great as other hotels/casinos are within a short walk. Gambling is good. Staff is friendly. My wife and I get a suite in the Gold Tower and it is great.

Golden Nugget has great food. Their Claim Jumpers restaurant is always amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t get the room with the king bed as I reserved. It also took almost an hour to check in and they only had 2 people helping at first. Other than that, isn’t too bad.

It's our first night staying at The Golden Nugget Casino and hotel and we were very excited. All was ruined from the moment we tried to check-in. After patiently waiting through the check-in process we headed to our room to get ready for a reservation that we had been looking forward to for forever. We opened our door and were welcomed by a very unpleasant guest that was already staying in there. We immediately shut the door before things could escalate and walk back down to the hotel lobby. There we waited again(longer than round one) to correct the situation. I thought with this screw up they could give an upgrade to help with our frustration. Instead, they took off some resort fees. Although they compensated us a little. This compensation will not impact our experience or help with the loss of time. For this I thought there was something more or different they could have done for putting a guest in danger with another guest. Hopefully/Maybe they will make up for the frustration on our remaining days here.

My husband and I came for our 11th anniversary and to renew our vows. The Golden Nugget has definitely been a fantastic experience and we will have so many amazing memories. The staff in the gambling area are knowledgeable and friendly, even for those people who don’t know the rules (me). The food is good every where we have eaten in the casino. Everyone was helpful and just made for a great experience. 10/10 would recommend the pool slide.

We were staying at the nugget for a bachelor party with about 15 of us. We had a great time overall. Although to start we had booked three rooms and they only put two next to each other, with the other on a floor above. Rooms were very clean and could put in a request anytime. Casino was always packed at main hours so we did our gambling later to be able to grab spots for all of us. Roulette table did not treat us very well. We did a Cabana at The Hideout on Friday and that may have been the highlight of the trip! Nicole was our bartender and she was very personable, always making sure we were having fun and getting us what we needed. Just so happened to be a wedding in the pool while we were there so we made the background of some photos. We went to many other casinos on Fremont and the nugget was by far my favorite. Although we may try and stay on the strip next visit out, definitely will be recommending here to future people going to stay in Vegas! Viva!

We've always had the best stay at Golden Nugget Las Vegas with the exception of this stay. We were not informed the floor we were given was pet friendly, l love pets but due to allergies can't stay in same room fur babies have been in. Was told no other rooms available.Tub to deep almost fell, and stayed 5 days looking at outside wall no view of beautiful outside . Also got card for free smart watch but was told by person at desk I did not qualify for free watch. Very helpful employees. Location is awesome.

We were in town for a wedding. Stayed in a deluxe double in Carson Tower. Everything worked, adequate towels for the 3 of us. Far enough from Fremont Street that noise was not an issue. No mini fridge. No housekeeping during your stay unless you call. Fremont Street Experience is right outside the door of the hotel. It is insane.

The hotel itself was great. However, the place wasn't at capacity and room is down 2 long halls?? I'm there Monday through Friday night. Someone that's there for the weekend has shorter walk than me!!! Also, they want the guest to text housekeeping with any matters, not the front desk? I'm in from out of town and I'm to text for towels?!?No refrigerator, no coffee machine. They charge extra for those. There were no tissues either. Guess I get charged extra for those too. Pool was nice.

Pretty great only problem was we reserved a gold tower and they tried to put us in a rush tower, but then fixed it and we got our room we reserved. Pool closes early, at 530 they had everyone out. Very clean and pretty hotel, was awesome swimming by sharks and fish.

I didn't end up staying here put played the slots. I loved the inside of the casino. Very pretty décor. Loved the slots too, they were pretty good to me. Had $5.00 Blackjack tables too, which was hard to find.

It was average. Rush tower room was very nice, but a lot of noise until 2am due to Fremont. If you are out till then -it’s Las Vegas! No issue. Second half of stay was Carson tower which needs renovation. Brown water out of faucet, drippy faucets, sporadic hot water in shower. Even these things I could overlook but what really chafes me is trying to get a folio/ receipt for my stay. Both times I checked out I was told it would be sent to my email which they verified was correct. It never was sent. I have called back a total of 7 times now, left a message with a return message once! I called the hotel manager and left my number. Nicole called back and left a message and a phone number that I am unable to access on my cell phone. I left a message on “contact is” on their website- no response at all from there either. I just got of phone a few minutes ago. Someone who answered as hotel manager, no name. Told her my situation and she said I need to call back with early tomorrow am when accounting shows up. I asked why she cannot just hit send as she reconfirmed phonetically my email. She told me just call back. Worst customer service ever! I know my email is correct because I even got another email for a special at their hotel as if to run salt in my wound. Bottom line- if you need a receipt- make everyone in line wait, kill a tree and ask them to print it right there or you can deal with the same problem here As this is not the first time this has happened but first time just took one phone call. Second time I had to call twice. This time no one there, manager included cares

Gold nugget finally made me want to gamble again in the future. My sister in law is a Las Vegas native and so I had been taken to all the fancy places on the strip and seen all the must see attractions but yet I didn’t truly see where the fun was in Vegas. Insert Gold Nugget here in the story. I finally got to a black jack table with awesome people just looking to have fun. The dealer was nice and talkative and the whole table had fun. All the new casinos felt stuffy and stuck up but yet the Golf Nugget was a good time. I will be staying here in the future for a good time in Vegas

We stayed here for a concert. Our room was in the Rush tower. We had a very nice room for $99/night. My only complaint about the room was there were 2 power outlets. One in the room and one in bathroom. All other outlets weren't accessible. Made no sense. We had 2 phones and 2 ipads to charge so had to take turns. When will hotels learn to make power outlets easily accessible and plentiful? This hotel had large signs everywhere "Masks are MANDATORY " yet there was no one enforcing it. Half the people walking around weren't wearing a mask. WHY have a rule if you're not going to enforce it? I dont care either way, but if you have a rule enforce it. If you're not going to enforce it, then DO NOT have the rule. Simple.

Super nice suite that was bigger than some apartments. Truly nice setup and attentive staff from the bell hop to the maintenance/repair. I do wish the street music wasn't as loud until 2 am, but hey it's Vegas.... and the self parking was fairly close.

It's a convenient stay close to Freemont St but not the cleanest or newest. Looks like it has seen better days. Air filters in the casino need lots of help. When I finished the day with some time at the tables I would come back smelling like an ashtray even though I don't smoke. I would recommend checking deals at other places on the strip before staying here.

Great place for poker down on Fremont. It's a small room but it's very well kept and the service is top notch. If you're north of the strip and need a good game, come here.

The lobby of the hotel is very beautiful and has several restaurants to offer. Plenty of casino tables and slots available. We stayed in the Carson tower, which at first seemed like a decent tower. After finally getting the room, we go to relax after a long flight while waiting for luggage. Shortly after relaxing, someone opens the door but doesn't walk in. We quickly gather the little bit of things we had and went back to the front desk. They were apologetic and gave us another room. This time the room was 2 full beds instead of a king. We called down to the front desk and asked if they had another room since we originally booked for a king, they were all out. So we stuck it out for the night since we still sisnt have any luggage. The next morning around 6, we went back downstairs to pickup our luggage that finally arrived. Once getting back in the room to freshen up we realized in the bathroom there was hair in the tub, in the sink, the vent cover was missing and dirt and dust was exposed. So back to the front desk we go. This time we get moved to the Rush Tower. Once you walk on this side of the hotel you can immediately tell that this was the newer side. From entering the elevator and having to use your key to get to your floor (which was different at the Carson tower). There was double sinks in the bathroom, a nice size tub that was very deep and a private toilet room. The only downfall for the shower was you had to stand exactly under it in order to feel the water. The room was very nice with a great view. They offered earplugs for the noise. It was just all around a better night's experience. Overall the staff was very nice and helpful. They hold your luggage for you if your room is not available and they offer to bring to your room later. If you go stay in the Rush tower.

Great size room. Only negative was our room literally shaking on the 17th floor from the music outside. They do provide earplugs for light sleepers and early bed goers. Bed and pillows were amazing !! Vegas IS Back!! Pool, beautiful and heated. Fremont is an experience in itself. Definitely stay here! King suite is amazing.

Beautiful hotel and pool. Stayed for 2 nights in April and loved every minute of it. The slide at the pool doesn't open until noon so keep that in mind in case you're only staying 1 night. Stayed in the Rush tower with a view looking out towards the mountains and Circa and the music was bumping till about 2am. Everything just felt upscale and the service from everyone I spoke to was top notch.

Location what can I say,it's Fremont definitely recommend more security to keep the crazy out. Overall would recommend for a weekend getaway.

First I’ll give the good sides. The AC works great and there are several good options in the hotel. Rooms are spacious. Now for the negatives. The rooms are very tired. Our room was probably last updated in the early 2000’s and it shows. Everything is an upgrade or up charge including a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room. The WiFi is really really slow. Like early 2000’s slow. After asking they said it was because too many people were using it. Sure this makes sense if it was a small hotel. But this place is obviously designed to be packed. Speaking of packed. The parking is free for guests but incredibly packed. We are two nights into our stay right now and we circle for at least thirty minutes looking for parking every night. The Venetian where our convention is always had parking even during peak times. That convention has 30,000 people attending. The golden nugget struggles with a small band playing. The price for value is really poor. Overall not a good experience.

Golden Nugget is at a great location in Fremont street. I guess we didn’t do enough research on the rooms and we were disappointed to not have a refrigerator or microwave in our room. The pool was nice, but very crowded. We were also disappointed that the self parking was entirely full for the whole weekend. We either had to find somewhere else to park or pay for valet. Overall, it was fine. The hotel was clean. It’s a one and done for us though.

  • 3/5 GoddsChild S. 9 months ago on Google
They don’t have microwave in the rooms or in the hotel to heat up food. I will find another hotel to stay at… I kept coming back for base on my first experience hoping it would get better but no it has not. To checkout lat is an up charge, they don’t accommodate rooms with microwaves or have any on site.

  • 2/5 Đinh Việt H. 10 months ago on Google
I couldn't find a self parking spot (overcrowded) so I had to use valet parking for $20 plus a $38 resort fee. No toothpaste, no toothbrush, no comb, no shower gel, no slippers,... The swimming pool was designed with some giant fishes and a slide that was overloaded with people and the water was very dirty and cold. The positive is the location on Fremont Street with lots of entertainment and good restaurants.

  • 3/5 Christopher S. 10 months ago on Google
The pool is just great, really enjoyed the water slide, shark tank and sipping a drink pool side. Overall the hotel is just a little too close to the action for me. Kind of loud all night long. And our room was much worse for the wear. The shower was really beat up. But the beds! Oh so comfy, top notch!

  • 3/5 Philip Y. 9 months ago on Google
This place is okay. It's a smoking casino so that really sucks and I don't think their . I couldn't really walk the casino floor without my eyes burning from the smoke. Good part is the have low minimum tables so they have gbling for just about every budget. Being right on Fremont Street is great.

  • 3/5 Charles A. 9 months ago on Google
A taste of older Las Vegas. The rooms are fine, well maintained, but a couple notches below hotels on the strip. But priced appropriately. Only real complaint is internet is wide open no password. Be careful if you use it.

  • 4/5 Joseph S. 9 months ago on Google
Good hotel. Rooms are large, and there is a good pool. However, service leaves a lot to be desired. They leave you on hold for hours when you're making reservations, parking is limited (The auxiliary parking for vehicles taller than 7 ft. took 45 minutes to get in), and the pool closes way too early. However, it has great access to Fremont Street and a great view.

  • 5/5 Peter V. 9 months ago on Google
Got upgraded to gold tower with pool view. Fridge and kurig coffee maker. ☕️ No resort fees! This place is definitely worth the $67 for 3 nights stay! Dee at check-in was awesome! We usually stay on the strip but times are tough and we decided to scale back to get more bang for our buck.

Everything was so nice at this hotel. The pool was great and so were the rooms. They give you waters for free throughout your stay and free self parking. The prices of things around the hotel are affordable. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in the Carson Tower, and the rooms looked old. There was rust on the tub and the caulking was coming off by the sink, but not anything that's a deal breaker. One of the amenities is free bottled water. That was sooo useful! Had a perfect spot to watch fireworks at The Plaza from my room.

  • 4/5 Jimmy J. 9 months ago on Google
My stay here was fantastic. Ate at RED was both delicious and affordable, with amazing and attentive staff. Claim jumper was good, but they do not have KENO anymore, which devalued my experience. The pool was almost perfect, I was in a cabana, service was perfect, and I couldn't have asked for anything better, the only complaint I have about the pool area is that the hot tub was closed and won't be opened until next season ( which was stated to me by a manager at the pool). Also, gambling was very fun. Having 5 dollar minimum tables on the pool deck and in the casino really made my experience. Thank you for the memories, Golden Nugget. I'll see you soon

My experience this time staying at the Golden Nugget hotel was not as pleasant as it has been in the past The services dropped considerably within the reservations team Given four months notice of a particular requirement in the room and placement of the room for medical reasons I arrived to find out it was Not for Field on my query they said they can move me The next day and I was to come downstairs at 2 pm I went downstairs only to find out the person had made the note on the computer but hadn’t booked through again I spoke to someone and we repeated the process the following day only to be told the room wasn’t available and I had to wait another day I finally moved on the third day I had requested a room with a PowerPoint near the bed for medical reasons and I finally got shifted on the third day Before check out I went down to reception and the day before to speak to the Bell man and Reception regarding check out the following morning I was informed that there is always a bellhop on early and shift starts at 5 am I was downstairs at 5 o’clock after receiving no pick up through the phone whilst waiting at reception they informed me shift started at 5 am I waited there until 545 and no service had arrived Went back up to my room to try and move my luggage myself as I had a 730 flight we’re another guest assisted me because there was no staff available I ran the risk of missing my flight this day thanks to the poor service if I was a manager of this hotel I would’ve got Security or anyone to assist my guest if I had made documented notes of this happening I would advise a bit of process to be put in place for the future Otherwise the rooms were clean and tidy A little overpriced but everything that’s nowadays The restaurants were great Cleaning was to a high standard was really impressed with the housekeeping team Great swimming pool casino and central location

The Golden Nugget will not disappoint you. My wife and I got Married there in June. I will recommend anyone who is looking for a wedding venue, to look into The Golden Nugget wedding chapel. It has to be one of the nicest chapel for the price. Patty was very helpful and pleasant to work with. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The pool is definitely one of the best in Las Vegas. We went to Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse after our wedding reception and it was phenomenal. To top things off, you are on Freemont, on middle of the action and nightlife! I will definitely be staying at the Golden Nugget for my anniversary. Book your stay and you will not regret it

I visited the nugget the last few years for the Grand Poker Series the last few years. They have great mid stakes mixed games. Definitely seems like one of the better places to stay on Fremont. Especially if you like poker, it’s the only place downtown that has a poker room and they’re notorious for their uncapped 1/2 game where 100 bills play on the table. The hotel was decent, I stayed in the older tower. It’s great that it was away from the noise on freemont st at night but there was constantly issues with the doors not closing all the way. I wasn’t very impressed with any of the restaurants, the only one I didn’t try was Vic and Anthony’s but maybe I’ll give it a go next year. There are plenty of good places to walk to. Tables on the floor are lower limit compared to the strip which is nice. The pool is great to visit during the day. It has the cool shark tank with the water slide. Definitely not the cleanest pool though when it’s crowded (like all the other Vegas pools) Great access to Fremont. Overall a place worth visiting and staying if you’re headed downtown, but there are other suitable options as well. Definitely worth hitting it you’re into poker.

Husband and I stayed here for three days for our honeymoon hotel is a little bit older than what I would have liked and the breakfast in the restaurant was completely awful. There were several people around us returning their food. However, the manager was nice made up for it even gave us a nice big slice of chocolate cake as a wedding present we really enjoyed the pool.

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown and unfortunately in downtown is riddled with homeless, and people using drugs. Woke up at 7:00 a.m. to get coffee and a homeless people were in the restroom, showering in the sink. Pool was really nice however the wait for water slide line can be up to 25 minutes and come early to claim your poolside chair. Around 3 or 4: 00pm, the pool is packed. We walked into a room and had no hot water and we needed a shower. It took almost 3 hours to get this to fixed. Plus we were never able to get our clogged sink fixed as well. The room is basic. If you want a refrigerator and microwave have to pay extra. Parking is free. Ensure you register your car when you check in or it will be towed. We saw 2 cars getting towed. I have learned in my many years of traveling when a hotel nickel and dimes you, there's usually issues. At this fact was proven here.

I would have given a full 5 stars but during our stay we rented lounge chairs at the hideaway there, 21 and over pool. Everything was great until it wasn’t. The winds picked up and we were forced to leave. I messaged the property 3 times asking if we would be reimbursed for our remaining 2.5 hours and got nothing back. Everything else was great!

Just popped in to experience the casino floor. Always nice to visit an old classic and this was one we enjoyed as they had obviously brought a lot of the casino up to date. Facilities were lacking in some areas, rest rooms or of order with no clear signage for others.

My husband and I were stuck on the freeway which was backed up for miles, so we decided to jump off downtown to get some breakfast at the Golden Nugget. It has been years since we went there and it was quite an “Old Vegas Style” treat. We went to the Claim Jumper and the food and service were good. The Hotel was still charming and we completely forgot about the shark tanks and the slide tube that runs through it and drops you into the swimming pool. So cool! The nice thing about the pool area is that it is on the center of the hotel surrounded by the building. You will only have direct sunlight overhead for a limited time and be shaded the rest of the day. So if you explode in direct sun as we do with our fair skin this is a perfect place to hang out. There is a bar and lots of Chairs and seating available - and sharks. Don’t forget the sharks. Lol. Had a great time and enjoyed the food. Stayed there long enough for the freeway to clear then headed home.

The room was nice and clean. We were on the 21st floor away from Fremont Street so it was overall quieter. Nice views of Vegas. Bed was comfortable. Shower and towels were very nice. Staff were nice and professional. Check in was a bit slow as lots of people checking in. The most NEGATIVE thing was about refreshing the room. It was 3 days before the room was refreshed. It seems you have to make appointments to have the room refreshed and how often. This was not told to me at check in. After calling housekeeping on the 3 day that I wanted DAILY service, on the 4th day it wasn't done. Another call was made and our room was not on the schedule. You have to call each day to tell them you are out of the room. This is really annoying. The location is good if you are looking to stay in the downtown area. It is a mess down on the strip right now as they are doing construction for the Formula 1 race in November. So staying away was nice. Taxi rides are $$$$!!!

Stayed here numerous times and while it's a great location and one of the better pools and amenities. I booked 6 months in advance directly through website where we were going to have potential 3 adults and I chose "hotel chooses bed" thinking we'd guarantee 2 beds, but in fact were only given one king. When I spoke to a manager I asked if we would get a roller bed of sorts, but that's an additional $50/night. I asked politely for 2 beds instead of 1 king and they kept saying "the system assigns based on on front of house" and said if I wanted 2 beds it'd be $50/night extra. So they made it seem as if the hotel was fully booked, but definitely could make the change to charge me over $200 to get the extra bed. Just be careful if you reserve for 3 or 4 adults as you're liable to get just 1 bed, I even asked the manager if that's what they expect for everybody to fit in 1 bed and she said "yes".

A hotel with a great history..but a little tired in places. Restaurants on site varied and largely good. Pools are quite small with limited opening...I would have liked a pool to swim in. No tourist information. Not too pricey. Located on the Fremont Experience.

  • 4/5 Joe De Los S. 6 months ago on Google
I have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. The Golden Nugget has always lived up to the class and sophistication that it advertises. You have a huge selection of room choices, restaurant options and a pool area that is the finest on Fremont street. The only complaint I have is that check in could be made to be much faster and more efficient. There is no self directed check-in, so everyone has to go to the front desk and this takes some serious time. Other than that, I have ALWAYS enjoyed my stays here.

Golden Nugget Las Vegas - A 5-Star Experience I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, and I must say it exceeded every expectation. The level of service and attention to detail truly set this establishment apart. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff's dedication to ensuring a seamless experience was evident throughout my stay. The room was not only impeccably clean but also beautifully appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of activities. The amenities offered were impressive, ranging from a vibrant casino to exquisite dining options. The dining experience was exceptional, offering a diverse selection to suit various palates. The culinary expertise showcased a commitment to quality. The Golden Nugget's location is also noteworthy. Situated in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, it provides convenient access to various attractions and entertainment options. In conclusion, my stay at the Golden Nugget was nothing short of outstanding. The combination of exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and prime location make it a top-notch choice for any traveler.

Overall I’m happy with our stay. I think it’s a little silly that what are considered to be “basic amenities” like a mini fridge are considered upgrades here though. The location is good if you just want to see Fremont, but if you want to spend more time on the strip you’ll need to get used to ubering (consider this when you compare the relatively cheaper price of the nugget vs a hotel on the strip)

One of the nicest properties in downtown Vegas. Great restaurants and nice pool with a great water slide (limited hours for the slide). Rooms are very nice. Location right on Fremont street provides lots of great options for outside of the casino activities.

First time in Las Vegas and I enjoyed my stay. I like the room but it was a long walk, other than that very nice and clean. Everyone in there was very welcoming. Great location because we were close to everything. Will be back again!

We were in a standard room in the gold tower and were surprised at how spacious the room was. The bathroom was small though. Good location, middle of casino floor. Outlets in lamps were so loose our cords fell out and had to use wall outlets to charge phones. Housekeeping was great. Brought us more water, toilet paper and towels when requested pretty promptly. Room service food was really good. All staff very friendly. We had no view on 3rd floor. Our window was frosted and you couldn't open it. It was quiet though.

Very nice hotel. Clean and nicely decorated. Our room was comfortable and cozy. However, the AC is extremely noisy when it comes on, enough to wake you up. And it would be nice to have a small table in the room. For two hours on a Tuesday evening there were no cocktail waitresses serving the poker tables. Maybe okay for one night but I wouldn't want to stay there again.

We visited Nov 2-5, 2023. We stayed in the Carson Tower in room 856. We appreciated the location of this tower in the hotel. As soon as you get out of the elevator, there is a convenience store, Chick Fil A and a Starbucks all as soon as you exit the elevator hallway. The negative is that a few feet from the Starbucks, there is a timeshare desk and they are constantly trying to get you to stop by. The room itself was fair. The bed was comfortable, the bedding and pillows were nice and clean. The room is spacious but the downside to that, a lot of the room amenities were missing. There was no mini fridge, no coffee maker, no microwave, no hairdryer, no shower caps, not enough stock of supplies such as tissue or toilet paper. That was a little disappointing. The shower and sink both drained VERY slow. The tub was half full by the time I was done showering and it was not a very long shower. The sink filled up to about half just from brushing my teeth. We couldn't access the fish tank because the pool had been drained and closed off. I find it difficult to make sense of the resort amenities fees when there were so little amenities in the room or in the hotel. I will say, with the exception of the young man checking us in, everyone was the pleasant and friendly. The young man at the reservation counter was not very engaging and gave off the vibe that I was bothering and/or inconveniencing him. We ordered room service for breakfast one morning and it was delicious! It comes from the Claim Jumpers restaurant in the hotel. The location of the Golden Nugget is perfect! Everything was right outside the casino doors. The drinks we had at the casino bars were very well made, worth the price for sure. It was nice to have everything in such close proximity. I'd certainly give this casino another stay but I'd probably splurge for the more luxurious room.

We were heading to the restaurant that was located inside this historical hotel. It definitely feels like there's a lot of history. Retro style entrance, lots of mirrors and wood features inside. We didn't stay overnight,so cannot speak about the rooms, but it was a very pleasant walk through to get to the restaurant.

Dated rooms but fantastic restaurants. If you want to be on Fremont Street, this is a great option. We were in Carson Tower and the rooms were very dated. They had shampoowd the carpets before we arrived and our room was humid the entire 4 days of our stay. Bathtub was awkward and there was no refrigerator. The restaurants in the hotel were unexpectedly all great! Bars were crowded but the drinks were good. Great for the location but not the best property I've ever stayed at.

We had a great stay and my issues started after we left. I have tried multiple times to get a printed statement of my bill sent to email for business reporting. Called guest services and no one is willing to help. I love the Golden Nugget, but it will be my last time staying there!

Casino smokey, if you have breathing problems not good place to gamble. If you have scooter be careful mine was stolen. Drinks watered down. People were very nice. Food was good but overly priced. Dinner for 2 over a hundred dollars. Rooms poorly lighted.

We've stayed at the Nugget several times during our annual trips to Vegas. The staff is great and accommodating. That said, the reservations system leaves much to be desired. We requested five rooms on the same floor, with two adjoining, months in advance. There was no indication that might be a problem, other than saying adjoining rooms weren't guaranteed, but every effort would be made. When we checked in, we were told none of that was possible. No one called to ask about alternative room configuration or towers. In addition, my roommate's credit card was charged instead of mine, despite going to the desk during her checkout to confirm my CC number. After departure, when charges appeared on the wrong card, I called three times, on three different days. When I mentioned on the third call that I had left two messages with no result, the reservations person said she'd try to reach someone at the hotel. That was also unsuccessful. The on site staff is working hard to make guests happy, but it seems the reservations and accounting staff really can't be bothered with customer service. I'll be exploring other options next year.
