Definitely the least impressive room I’ve stayed in in years. Motel 6 vibe. Room is basically bare, feels old and not super clean. The TV is at most 32” with maybe 6-8 channels that aren’t news/sports. No outlets near the bed. Toiletries had zero scent. Never received a welcome email or a check-out summary. But hey…the bed was comfortable.

My husband and I recently stayed here for a birthday trip and it was great! Check in and out was a breeze! We had an issue with our tv when we first got there but the maintenance man was there in under 10 minutes from us calling! The hotel was very busy but very nice and spacious! The beds are comfy and the service is great! It wasn’t too pricey to stay for 5 days either! The stadium pool passes are an absolute plus and a great one and free if you stay there! The location is right on Fremont which is perfect so if you want to walk around it’s easy to do so! They have concerts right next to the hotel so be wary it does get loud pretty late so just be aware of that. Highly recommended!

First time, stay off the strip. I wasn't sure what to expect. However, i loved the elevator system. It seemed much more efficient than others. Casino was nice. The dealers were friendly, and they knew how to pay and place bets. I know it is weird, but find good, friendly dealers in Vegas is harder than it should be. Walked away with money in my pockets 🤑

Last night 12-Nov at about 0430hrs the “fire” alarm goes off. This isn’t a normal fire alarm, a voice comes blasting into our room saying “emergency situation, please exit the building. Do not go on an elevator go to your nearest emergency stairs” and repeats this for several minutes. We get up and prepare to exit, we can still hear music blasting from the casino floor and there’s only about 50 guests that we can see exiting. We finally make our way down from our floor and an employee yells at us for using the emergency exit. We try explaining that an alarm is going off and they have no idea what’s going on. Nobody does. It takes several more minutes before someone comes out and directs us out of this emergency exit/back area. They give no update. Don’t tell us what’s going on. Nothing. We are left started, at 430am on a side street with no direction. Unsure if it’s safe to go back to the hotel or even our rooms, we remained on the street for 20min before another guest told us they heard it was all clear to go back inside. This morning, I go to the front desk and talk to a manager. The manager just offers to “comp” my resort fee for the night and didn’t want to come out of the office. I insisted to speak with him. He finally came out. The manager had no idea about the situation and no real explanation. He first stated it was a test, then a malfunction, then someone smoking. He didn’t write anything down nor did he offer any solution for if this happens in the future. Not acceptable! I was then directed at the security office to file a written complaint with them. They had no explanation either. They stated that “officers” should have been dispatched, to direct us and offer explanations. I told him that none of what should have happened did. If this was a real fire or active threat situation, The D Hotels response would have put guests at a greater risk. Truly unacceptable response to the situation and to a guests issues.

Long review - but bear with me! Lots of details for those looking to stay. 10/10 would not stay again. On this trip to Vegas, we wanted to stay on Fremont street for my boyfriend's birthday...experience something different. Day one and day five were the best days. Day one - because we were too tired to realize any problems and passed out as soon as we checked in. Day five - because we were finally leaving. I'll say the problems started when our floor reeked of smoke which went on for several days. The doors to the rooms did not seal properly, so we had to put a towel down at the bottom to keep the smell out of our room. On day two, we realized we were having issues with the A/C in the room. It would blow out hot air on "HIGH - A/C"....Maintenance came up and replaced the unit; however, that evening, it began making a horrible rattling noise. The front desk then moved us to another room of the exact size/price and comped a meal. This was better than nothing...except our new room had a broken shower handle & head and had cigarettes and a lighter laying in the room (not cleaned well). Housekeeping also did not visit this room our entire visit - causing us to request our own extra towels, etc. Because we had already moved rooms, there was no point in bringing this up again - just made the best of things and moved on. Aside from these issues, I'll second a couple of other reviews. No outlets beside the bed, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, LOUD music outside until at least 4 AM, and there was a lack of communication in emails during check-in/out. If none of these things bother you - then definitely stay here.

Overall a good stay, very clean room, comfy bed, all the staff very was friendly. We really enjoy Fremont St Experience, we enjoy the free live bands (if you want to sleep at a normal human hour then Fremont is probably not for you, live bands and music/light show til 2am), and that's what brought us here. Not 100% we'd stay here again though, our room was on the 3rd floor and the first morning we were there we were woken up by a very loud undetermined mechanical noise, and it didn't happen just once. The noise was intermittent and carried on for 2 hours, and it was not a noise you could sleep through either, we thought someone was doing construction next door at 6am. Maybe the other rooms are better, but beware the 3rd floor if you stay

We’ve had a terrible experience at the D hotel. The AC is so loud we haven’t been able to sleep at all. We’ve never experienced something like this. We are staying at room 2040, and I’m not looking forward to tonight. We tried to leave but people at the front desk didn’t seem to care at all when I explained about the noise in the room and wouldn’t give us a refund because it was after 11:00. So much for customer service. Of course they are lovely and welcoming when you arrive. We booked two nights thinking it would be nice to explore this part of the city, and thinking this hotel would be comfortable. There are so many options in Las Vegas, no need to come here an have such a horrible experience. Bottom line - avoid this hotel at all costs.

Really Really bad. As I was checking in another group was changing rooms because their room smelled terribly bad. My TV didn’t work, my phone didn’t work and the AC was really loud/squeaky. Lastly, the dealers at one of the craps tables were atrocious and just overall in a terrible mood. They are teetering on incompetent. Most of the other dealers and pit bosses were great. Sadly won’t be back. But location is really good if downtown is your thing.

The room and the location itself were nice. It was in the heart of Freemont street, and the beds were comfortable. However, the room did not have a mini fridge, microwave, or coffee maker. I do not know why a hotel with a higher price point does not have these basic amenities in the room. There is a small cafe in the lobby of the hotel, and it was over $20 for 2 coffees and 2 donuts, and the donuts left something to be desired. I do not not understand the what guests get for the cost of a room, when there are more cost efficient options with more amenities. Also, the second day there, Housekeeping never came and cleaned our room. We needed clean towels so requested from the front desk. Over an hour later we did not have the towels, and ended up using the dirty ones on the floor since housekeeping never serviced the room as we had to go to bed. Woke up in the morning, still no towels or any follow-up. After our reservation period ended at The D, we had reservations at a Hilton. The room at the Hilton had a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee/cream/sugar, and included breakfast.

The D Las Vegas offers a contemporary and energetic hotel and casino experience in downtown Las Vegas. With stylish rooms, a lively casino floor, and a variety of dining and entertainment options, it's a popular choice for visitors seeking a modern twist on the classic Vegas experience. The hotel's proximity to Fremont Street adds to its allure, providing easy access to the vibrant nightlife and attractions of downtown. While some may find the atmosphere loud and bustling, others appreciate the excitement and energy that the D has to offer."

Room was clean and well appointed. We went in January. The pool was closed for the season. We were charged a resort fee. With no pool it's not a resort, it's a CASINO. Somewhat noisy from Fremont St. bands until about 1am.

The WORST experience I’ve ever had in my 40 years of traveling to Las Vegas. Rudest front desk employees specially David the supervisor. Booked and paid for 4 days but had to leave a day earlier. Room was never cleaned despite hanging the Clean my room door hanger. Requested 2 extra pillow to prop up my son’s head because of difficulty of breathing due to smokiness and a health condition. The pillows was never delivered. We called everyday to request and no pillows was ever delivered. Toilet clogged, the safe didn’t work and it was noisy until 1-2 am due to Fremont Street. We had a busy schedule so we had no time to change rooms or keep calling to report these issues during our stay. I tried telling someone at checkout but they just took out 2 days of our resort fees. She told me to call Vegas.com and told me that she will make notes on the account. That’s not what I wanted her to do, I wanted her to listen, empathize, apologize and do something about the problem so this horrible experience doesn’t happen to the next person who will be visiting Las Vegas. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! There are better options. DO NOT BOOK thru Vegas.com. Too many restrictions once you’ve reserved your hotel.

Love everyone I dealt with at this hotel. Even the facilities, maintenance people, etc. They took the best care of us. Juan and the gang, Sasha and Autumn, everyone was a blast to deal with. Really great staff and we have been here three times now. If you are looking for a place to have your event, corporate, party, whatever, they are going to be a pleasure to deal with. Love them! We'll be back :)

I really liked this hotel even though it's right on the strip. It's so close to everything and can very lively at night because it's in the heart of Las Vegas. Check in was easy and I 😍 love the spacious and clean rooms. Nice 👍 clean bathrooms spacious and great shower pressure. Security is on point and makes sure all is safe. It's a casino hotel so it has a good crowd and every restaurant you can think of is in the area! My only drawback is the resort fee. I love their gym and want to go back next time I am in Las Vegas!

I want to start by saying that the hotel manager took real good care of my needs after they were bought to their attention . My only complaint was that the hotel has no excess to a microwave . And if you need a refrigerator make sure you make those arrangements when booking the room. I loved the elevator system. I appreciate the bottle waters given out at the bar. I loved the security system that they have in place at each entrance. My air conditioning went out on us but was immediately replaced. I needed a refrigerator and that too was bought to our room quickly. Thank you Julie Breeher, Hotel Manager, you made our stay worthwhile .

We were very surprised by the D. Fremont is not the strip and is a totally different feel and atmosphere. When we booked this hotel, we were not expecting much. When you put it in the GPS it brings you in on foot, so make sure you route around to the backside of the hotel if you are driving. There is a small covered area to drop bags and or valet your car. When you go in the check in is simple and the elevators are right there. The room was surprisingly in great condition and the bed was comfortable. The actual casino is smaller than your big ones in Vegas but they have what you need. The tables get very crowded because it is right on Fremont. Make sure you check out both levels, there are tables on both. We ate at McDonald’s, the service was terrible.

Perfect location for all the action on Fremont and variety of 24hour restaurants. But this hotel was like staying at Motel 6 on steroids. You couldn't get clean towels to save your life, had to push dresser up against the plug for the TV so it will come on. I know with covid now they don't clean rooms anymore, but it was just ridiculous. Only great thing is they did try and rectify my complaints and waived the resort fees for my stay.

It's a great hotel with a fantastic location. However, I believe as an international travel, my expectations around room cleaning, service, provision of amenities were below bar. Also no fridge in the room. The other challenge is noise, whereby street music can be heard up till 3am, even on the quiet side. It is better to pay the extra and go on the higher floor, above floor 31 Otherwise, great location in the heart of Fremont Street and really buzzing atmosphere on the ground

Room was great! Service was nice! Its in core downtown which is great if you want to party! But not so great if you want to come early to your room and want to have some decent sleep! You may end up getting loud music noise until 3-4am.

The D is a very awesome hotel. Valet is free please tip the driver, free parking for guests also. What a deal. They have great staff our grandma got tired and fainted and they reached quickly and professionally. The drinks are good and prices not crazy. The hotel rooms are nice and it’s a def smokers spot. It’s Right off the Fremont street strip which means they have live music and performances at 8p with a great dj. People surround the area dancing and enjoying one another. Really enjoyed the rooms are big and the shower is comfortable. Nice hotel and great staff. I am enjoying my stay with my family. They have a very nice pool, very big, great for everyone.

My family visits Vegas every year. We almost always stay at the D. They offer the best rates with the nicest rooms and amenities. They also have great places in the hotel for you late night snacks. They customer service is always great! They had an issue with our room this last trip so without hesitation they upgrade us to a massive suite with full living room, dining, kitchen with a separate large bedroom and soaking tub! We will be back in January!

Not bad for downtown. Much better than the nugget in my opinion. So easy to get in and out to other spots or into an Uber. It’s a fight to get in and out at other downtown locations. Not the D. You won’t be blown away overall but they’ve made some nice upgrades and it’s top 5 downtown for sure.

If they offer you an upgrade, do not accept it. "Extra $15 a night."We did, and all we got was refrigerator and a bigger window In a pull out couch. My mother-in-law was staying at the same hotell. Do not get the upgrade, And her room was basically the same thing. Beds are comfortable. Nice hotel.

I was very disappointed with the rooms. They didn't have a refrigerator, microwave or coffee pot. The rooms were very basic, not like they use to be. I will not stay here again. The only positive about the D Casino, is that it's right on Freemont Street. Great location and the employees were nice and friendly. But other than that, this is a money hungry casino, just like the rest of Vegas. No more $4.99 steak & eggs. Now it's $18-$20 cheeseburgers. It's sad, they are out pricing families who want to stay there.

I booked the reservation in July2021 and requested a single king bed. We checked in Sept 6,2021 they gave us room with 2beds. I immediately told them what I reserved. They said if I wanted king bed it will be additional $15 per day, I'm here for 4 days. I then spoke with manager who said they will accommodate us with a ADA (disability room) with no additional cost. This room is wheelchair accessible. When you take shower water is all over the floor. Also we left the room around 2pm and I spoke with housekeeping twice about cleaning the room. Came back at 9:20p and the room hasn't been touched. Spoke with housekeeping again and they immediately sent someone to clean the room. VERY BAD SERVICE. We stay at this hotel 3-4 times per year. We have never had any problems before. Also i spoke with management regarding compensation time, as of today no response.

Stayed here for our first ever trip to Vegas for my birthday. When making reservations we were unaware of the amount of noise that would be in this hotel. Had other family come in as well and one has a medical issue which requires that she have a little more quiet than the others. The first room she was put in was so loud you couldn't even think. We went down and had them moved to another room and were told it was quieter than the first. The front desk attendants should be aware of which rooms are loud and which are not. I wasn't expecting sound proof but I was hoping for something better. It was not better the only thing better was the view. That family member has a migraine every morning cause of the level of loud coming through the walls and windows. Be aware if you are going for the music and loud factor that Vegas is this is a hotel for you but if want just a bit of peace and not sensory overload then this is not where you want to stay. Plus they do nothing special for your Birthday.

It was better then what I expected honestly. The only problem I had was the TV signal. We kept losing signal while watching regular television. Other then that, it was cool. Easy access to pretty much anything you could want and need.

Loved the staff! Everyone from check-in, to security, housekeeping, and the bartenders were very courteous and friendly. Loved that it was near everything that you could literally walk outside and enjoy the entertainment. The reason for 3 stars is because we rented adjoining rooms and it wasn't available and wouldn't be available for a long time. So we took a room that was across the hall. Also our room was non-smoking but it smelt like there were smoking rooms near our room or on the same floor. Just wish we didn't have to deal with the smoke issue on our floor. Another thing was the walls seemed to be very thin, we could hear the people's conversations and I'm sure they heard ours. Other than that our stay was enjoyable.

Basic room-no mini fridge or coffee maker, can hear loud music from Fremont from 4pm to 3am (Good luck sleeping). Strong cigarette smell in non smoking areas, lobby/casino floor full of smokers, hotel front desk management Trent & Shane are rude, employees are not friendly either besides housekeeping who are actually nice! No real amenities worth the “resort fee.” Good location thats about all. Save your money stay elsewhere for better service & better amenities. Would NEVER stay here again. Terrible experience!

Hotel and Casino are both great lots of fun with good odd on slots. Recommend not going cheap on your room and make sure it is not on the side with a concert stage, unless you don't like quite til after 2 or 3am when the playing stops. Had a great experience and will Be choosing the D Again!

Nice location but not the room . I could believe hows old TV is and there no cable plugged for your phone by night stand or other side. Restroom shower glass only one side. We was expecting door was slice but unfortunately is just one size. Hair Blow dry dont use it because I can kill you with the heat, it almost burning my hair. Air-conditioned running but noise is loud. Never go back there again.

I liked the ambiance. Their dealers(female) perform (dance around/that's it). Just the biggest issue is the smell of 🚬 smoke in the air. Not against it, however it is overwhelming. Of course the biggest thing is gambling which honestly isn't on my top "to do list" but I do 🤝 my sillies I guess.

The room was ok.. a few stuff we didn't like.. there's no bell boy in the valet parking so you have to take your stuff up. I had left my "refresh my room" sign out the door handle, left for a few hours, came back and my room hadn't been refreshed. I had to chase down the lady and ask her to please refresh it. The cigarette smell is very strong! I understand it's a smoking area but seems like the vents don't work cause the smell was very pungent.

Very nice rooms. King rooms have refrigerators, the other 2bed room we had did not. Very friendly and helpful staff. All the reviews saying stuff about the street music being loud is true. If you are trying to go to sleep at 8pm every night, this place might not be for you. I personally didn't have trouble sleeping. It was a great experience and I would definitely return.

Wonderful place! Great atmosphere. I like the security from the elevators to walking in off Fremont street. Front desk and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Tasteful decor & Color scheme. CLEAN. Great location and free parking!!! My only complaints are: the beds..Uncomfortable and broke down. The pool is separate from the hotel in its own area & open until 7pm. Make sure you stop a waitress yourself when you’re in the casino. I was in the casino all 4 days I was there. Got served once and that’s when I found the waitress myself. I’m sure they’re short staffed like everyone. I would most definitely still stay here again, without a doubt. The couple things I have to complain about wouldn’t stop me. This is a great hotel and above all, it’s clean!!!

Love going to the D! One of the best hotels on Fremont Street. It’s always clean, very modern and SUPER easy to access the Fremont Experience walk. I’ve stayed her many times and will continue to come back. There’s an escalator right off Fremont that takes you directly into the hotel and you have to show your room card to be allowed in. Love it!

Definitely needs some upgrades for the hotel portion! The check-in associate was pretty rude. Other than that everyone was nice. $30/night “resort” fee - consisting of wifi (which you can use free for a lower tier or then pay more if you’d like to use a higher tier). The room and hallways smell like smoke so if you have asthma or allergies I’d look elsewhere. My boyfriend was using his inhaler at least twice a day, where it’s normally about once every two weeks at most. Also be ready to soak your clothes when you get home! The rooms are also quite bare and the carpeting and decor is old. It looks like they’re upgrading everything slowly over time, but currently it is unimpressive. Of course it’s downtown right next to Fremont street, so it’s also loud nearly 24/7. Great for partying, but if you’re looking to get a good nights rest, definitely look somewhere else! (Or bring soundproof headphones that you can sleep in). Even beyond the 2 AM portion where they “stop” performances, it’ll be a party outside the window. Unsure of how early they start. But awoke at 6 AM today (Monday) and there was already music bumping.

Location was awesome. Staff is amazing……but the room was terrible. The sink was broken and had last person's hair in it. The bathroom door wouldn't close without a good shove. The same for opening it, it needed a good yank to open it. The room was HOT. The windows are extremely hot to the touch and the ac was having a tough time cooling the room. This is the last thing you want when it's 110 out. Lots of noise with no results the room was hot. Not having an ice machine for the floor was annoying. You had to go up or down a level for ice. The parking garage was filthy. I parked on level 5 and it was caked in who knows what. I'd recommend parking on level 8 no cars and a somewhat clean floor. Check out was easy.

WARNING it's a noisy hotel room until 1-2 AM so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs! I was on a high floor and facing away from Fremont but I can still hear the music quite well and across the street is also an outdoor techno music venue. We got it from both sides at times. Fortunately I am a heavy sleeper and I went to bed late during my stay. The hotel is in a great location more on the east end a bit. It's nice having McDonald's downstairs and across the way is the new Fremont food court and white castle. The inside is lively and fun. The service was good and the room was modern and clean.

This hotel/casino was awesome!!! I will definitely be going back! They were super accommodating when we got there at midnight the night before we had a reservation and they held our luggage overnight and let us check in at 5am. The tables were great and the slots were really cool! The room was nice although we were right above a music stage on the 8th floor that was thumping bass all night long but we somehow managed to sleep right through it every night.

I hate giving bad reviews. But I absolutely will never be going back to this hotel again. Between my room having hair all over in the bathroom when I got there, nothing in my room functioning correctly (remote, A/C, etc), the curtains don't block out any light, and the few interactions I had with employees that weren't bartenders were all terrible. The pool at their hotel is terrible, but you do get to go to their sister hotels pool down the street which was nice. It's a cheap place to stay, but you absolutely get what you pay for which is not much.

Had a great experience with my stay. The staff was very friendly & helped me with any questions I had. The valet team was FANTASTIC. Every valet I spoke to was friendly, professional, helpful & quick. Loved those guys. The rooms were pretty standard. Pretty much what you would get at any hotel across the US. They were clean & provided just about everything I expected. Overall very positive experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a standard hotel in Vegas.

I (and my family) love the “D”. It is centrally located on Fremont St and easy to get to from the freeway. The staff is exceptional and caters to your every whim. I like that they have security at night and one must show a room card to get in. I was not happy to see their Bell Hops did not return after Covid, but I managed to secure a luggage rack and not run into anyone! Great hotel!! 😃

Downtown is great and the D is easy to get to off the freeway. The staff is always nice and helpful. I've been to all the restaurants and the food is great. Valet is helpful, the long bar is a nice place to have a drink and relax. It's not the biggest or fanciest but it nice. I've never stayed there before but my long time real estate client stays here when they come to town and it's their favorite place to be.

Our room was great but we picked a bad time to visit. The first two nights we had a rave outside our window... sleeping was not an option. After that, it was nice but our room was only cleaned once out of 4 nights. The casino was fun and the food options were great. If you are looking to be right in the middle of all the Crazy that Vegas offers you'd love this place.

Located on Fremont Street, the D hotel is located in a lively neighborhood. I can't speak for all rooms, but you could hear the music from the street until the bands closed down at 1 a.m. Room was clean, comfortable bed, but pillows were too hard for me. There was plenty of hot water and the shower was decent. Would I stay here again? I don't know; if I had a room where you couldn't hear the noise from outside, maybe. All in all an okay stay.

Absolutely love it here. The staff is always amazing and the black jack casino staff are always a delight. They have literally been the reason we changed plans and played at a table all day. We were even comped a dinner for 6 one night at Andiamo. I can't say enough about the place. Sure it's loud but it's the area. Fremont is party central so if you know that going in it just makes the time there that much more enjoyable. I wouldn't stay any place else. They always take such good care of us

Great place even with a noisy room, (normal for Vegas), clean room, front desk friendly and helpful but apparently trained not to mention the exuberant Resort fee until it's time to swipe your credit card. The guest Business Center needs work, copy machine did not work. For me the dream of fun and fortune in Vegas is drying up as fast as Lake Mead. 🤨 There's definitely great potential for enjoyment here. My visit was tolerable and interesting at best. 😀 🎲🎲♠️

Everything was cool except the non- smoking room smelt JUST like cigarettes. Reminded me of those cheap $60 hotels in LA. Other than that the rooms were spacious and clean. It was in a very convenient area as well

Great Environment, friendly staff, very accommodating. I stayed in a comfortable room thanks to my host, I wasn't able to catch a flight till a day later than anticipated and my host at "The D" really came through making sure I was taken care of. I recommend checking out this establishment, especially if you plan on seeing the original Las Vegas strip.

Too smoky in the casino and the room(it was a non-smoking room on the 12th floor) but, of course, it's Vegas. Room was clean, though. Staff were polite & helpful. My favorite part of staying there were the elevators. They take you to your floor without stops. Praise baby Jesus for that! The absolute worst part was the ridiculously loud music on the promenade. Had to take mass quantities of sleeping pills in order to get to sleep. Will not stay there again or any other hotel on Fremont. Pays to pay a bit more and look for deals on the strip-much quieter and not as smoky.

Great experience! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Security was in place over the weekend, checking ID before you could get in, which made me feel good

Good luck if you are a coffee drinker. It’s okay that they removed coffee and fridge from rooms but they didn’t leave you anywhere to get morning coffee inside the hotel. They have a coffee bar but it doesn’t open till later. They have a McDonald’s that is 24/7 except they where closed in the morning for cleaning, they are supposed to have the D bar also open 24/7 but it was also closed. Had to walk a few blocks down the street to get coffee. The only real restaurant they advertise is also closed. Had to go to other hotels to eat. Unless you want McDonald’s or a hot dog. Personally I will never stay here again. Sad that you can get alcohol at 6am but not coffee.

Nice place. They keep it very clean and polished in there. But like the rest of the casinos here, they all suck. I came down on new years eve and have played every day since being here, and I can't win for the life of me. Advice, don't gamble in Vegas on slots. Play table games.

We had a great experience at The D. The concierge and valet service were excellent. Beautiful room. A very short walking distance to 5-star cuisine, casinos, and entertainment. Be warned that the street music is loud and close if you're thinking of retiring early!

The checking in and out process was seamless. The rooms were nice and the housekeeper was delightful when we arrived she was doing the room next to ours and she provided us all we asked for and also advised us on more. The supervisor also helped clean our bathroom as when we arrived, it was dirty as if someone had smoked in the bathroom, but regardless, it was a great stay .

First time staying here and it's really nice! The parking garage elevators takes you right to the check in desks and then the elevators to go up to the rooms are REALLY close to that. So unloading and loading back into the car is super easy! The rooms are nice, like a standard room. The TV is maybe the smallest one I've seen here in Las Vegas, but that's fine! The bathroom has great lighting, the showers are nice. Overall had a great stay!

The D is a nice upgrade from the old Imperial Palace. The room was nice, but there was trash in the room and were were missing towels and soap. Housekeeping said it was because the room was not occupied before were checked in. It should have been checked. Otherwise the staff was polite and helpful. Free valet was nice. But no bell service? Would have been nice since I stayed four nights a day had lots of bags. There was a cart to use so all went well. I would stay again.

The staff at this hotel are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. They make sure that their guests feel welcome and taken care of, which is why it's so easy for me to recommend this place! You won't regret staying here if you're looking for clean rooms with great amenities in an exciting location close by.

Everything was great. Check in was easy staff was very friendly. Let us check in a little early even. Rooms were clean. Shower was great. I had a room facing Fremont Street and my room was still quite. Husband played and even won a little money. Fremont was the best as usual. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location on the old Vegas strip, aka Fremont Street. It is close to everything (driving and walking distance). It is loud in the rooms though. We couldn't get anyone to serve us drinks in the casino, so we had to go to the bar. The room is basically bare. You have to pay extra for a refrigerator and there's no microwave in the room. They do offer easy ways to check out which is a plus. Staff were pleasant.

  • 2/5 Roy F. 1 year ago on Google
Our first evening the AC was not cooling down enough. We called the front desk and it was fixed within an hour, which was great! There's nothing special about the rooms. There's no coffee maker, fridge, or microwave in the room but we called and asked for a fridge and got one. The casino is small and we could not get a drink while playing slots to save our lives. We were told they only had 1 server per floor (but plenty of dancers on the first floor) and we'd be better off going to the bar. If they wanted us to pay for drinks they should've mentioned it in the advertisement. The rooms were very loud but wasn't an issue since we went to bed late. But be aware if you're a light sleeper and want to sleep in or take a nap. The location on Fremont is great. You can walk right out and watch a live concert.

Born in Detroit and remaining there for the first 26 years of my life before moving to Vegas, I really like the D. I am able to pick up on all of the specific details that relate to Detroit that are included at the D, those that people who aren't Detroit natives would not recognize. They did a pretty good job representing my city. I think they should put a little more memorabilia from Motown out as Casino decor but other than that they're a fun place to go and reminisce about home as much as I can given the fact I am here in Vegas. . BUT no place is perfect, not even a Detroit theme property. And what I didn't like about the casino floor was that the music was blurring at an extremely high level. I love music like most people but when it's extremely loud like that and I can't even have a conversation with someone nor can I think straight, it's just doing too much.

I had a great stay at The D! I got a surprise upgrade to a corner suite on the 26th floor, and the room was amazing. Great view, the service was excellent, and the hotel is new and kept very clean. There was plenty to do in the hotel, and the food options are very good - I really enjoyed breakfast at Bacon Nation! If you're looking for something else, the hotel is conveniently located on Fremont Street, so you're sure to find entertainment, food, drinks, shopping, etc. within 5 minutes of exiting the hotel. The pool is nice enough, but I preferred the 21+ Stadium Pool at Circa - which is a sister hotel/casino just down the street. It's much bigger, with a party atmosphere. The kind concierge informed me that you can flash your "D" room key for free entry there!

Had a king smoking room it was great but could have been updated, also view and noise was terrible(all u could see was ac units on roof) I explained when we checked in it was our 11 year anniversary. We also had to wait 3.5 hrs for room to be ready. Once we got to our room and seen We asked 2 times to be moved with no response. But it was reasonable price and location was great. Cleaner than most hotels in Las Vegas wish they would have taken care of us a little bit better.

We stayed at the D for the second half of our recent Las Vegas vacation. Fremont Street is exactly the opposite of the southern strip and is “seedy” as described but in a fun way. As for the accommodations they are adequate. We had a room that was ADA accessible due to availability. The room showed its age and was just OK. The view from the room was great. We just needed a place to crash and this was inexpensive. The worst was the smell of sewer gas from the bathroom floor drains. Pool area is small but you get passes to the Stadium Pool.

Pros The room was clean on arrival ! The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the prices were quite cheap ! Parking ramp was free with room stay ! The casino downstairs is surprisingly accommodating super clean bathrooms clean machines super friendly staff The music and atmosphere is programmed for 70s to 90s kids ! I was also pleasantly surprised to be brought a free cocktail of Choice every 20 minutes while playing the machines in the D minus the staff tip of course ! Considering the drinks on Fremont outside are $22 Cons No shower door or curtain 🤷‍♂️ just a single non movable piece of glass half way across the shower …weird I know they were all like that.. No microwave or fridge But I didn’t care I was eating out the whole Time anyway This is a party town all day and all night, I knew that! But what I didn’t know the first night is you need to go to sleep at 3 am and wake up at 10 am Because Fremont is so loud you can hear the music through the entire Fremont side of the hotel ! I would totally stay here again on the other side of the hotel 🙂! Lesson learned

Loved staying here! Staying on Fremont is not for everyone. Every staff person we interacted with at The D were so great from the people working in the gift shop, to slot attendants, concierge, front desk and valet. Room was perfect, clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

  • 5/5 Alicia C. 9 months ago on Google
As a local sometimes it's cheaper to grab a room than a lyft to Fremont and back. That's exactly what I did! Room was clean. They had me on the other side of Fremont so there was no loud music or noise. Staff was great. Perfect location! Had a great time.

We stayed here as part of a military reunion. Initially we were a little disappointed the staff did not coordinate our discounted group room rate with our coordinator and we ended up paying full price, but in the end, we were very satisfied with the location being right on Fremont St! Plus, the slots were a blast, the coffee and bacon restaurant were ideal, and the staff were all friendly. The rooms are just average and they didn’t have a refrigerator in them, which is almost unheard of in today’s hotels. But the bathrooms were huge and we loved the showers and sinks in them. Not a bad place to stay if you’re looking to be on an exciting area of Las Vegas!

Worst experience ever! There was blood on 1 of the pillows. The safe would not open once I locked it. A second safe was brought in and had the same issue which they wanted to bring another 1 in but they wasted so much time alrea so told them to forget it. I did ask to be moved to another room and they said no. I will definitely not consider staying there again or recommend it.

Rooms are mediocre at best. Very NOISY, both with music pumping from Fremont and a bad AC system in the room. No frills, but if you stay out until 3am and like the Fremont experience, this room will do. Not recommend for those that like a quiet peaceful vacation.

  • 3/5 Brandon G. 9 months ago on Google
If you want to be right on Fremont in a clean casino hotel, this is good. But it's also a little too close to Fremont's night life. The rooms are far from sound proof. With a rock and roll stage right outside your room, good luck going to sleep before 2am.

Love the D! Perfect place to take in all that Fremont St has to offer. Unfortunately, my room was not up to par this time. Only there for the one night so didn't make sense to bring it up. Won't stop me from going back to the D, though. Consider it a blip.

I have stayed at The D 3 times over the last few years and I love this hotel!!!! The back entrance opens up to the heart of Fremont Street. The D has always been clean with exceptional customer service every time I've went.

I personally did NOT care for the Fremont situation. But...that's what people go to Vegas for so it was in a good spot that way. Room key gave me access to Circa's giant pool. I didn't use it. I was SORELY disappointed to find that there wasn't a single room with a bathtub. It was painfully obvious to me housekeeping has a different standard than I do for cleaning. Beds were harder than I ever expected or experienced in any room of such pricing.granted I got a low priced stay the hotel fees more than brought the price up to the average prices I've paid for much nicer rooms. All in all. It was clean, private, staff were VERY VERY friendly. Brian in concierge was above and beyond and valet was very accommodating.

The front desk people seem to be a little bit rude. Also, the people at the bacon nation restaurant are extremely rude. They never used to be like this. I think they moved all their good employees over to the circa! The rooms definitely need some upgrades.

  • 5/5 Rob P. 9 months ago on Google
You will love both the location and the room! The price really can't be beat to have a Fremont room with free secured parking, 60 seconds from elevator to Fremont Street, bar and McDonald's on-site...it's great! We always have so much fun here! You can always run back up to your room if need be, you're literally in the middle of the Casino Center. The pool is lacking, but they coupled with another hotel to utilize their pool, so no complaints!

My wife and I stayed at the D Casino during July fourth week. It is an excellent spot you can just walk outside and be in the middle of the Fremont experience close to everything! We bought an over 60 reduced fare 3-day bus pass for $10 and it worked great; we went everywhere up and down the strip. The D is a sister resort to the Circa so you can get into their Stadium pool area as well. This is the same hotel that used to be Fitzgerald's. They e taking pretty good care remodelling it and it is a nice place; lots of restaurants nearby or on the strip.

Had a guy's trip and was referred to the D Hotel. Our experience previously was all on the strip. What a pleasant surprise. Grill the check in to every interaction with the staff, ir experience was fantastic. We will definitely come here again. The value was phenomenal. Definitely take advantage of the pool at the Circa too!

Our stay at The D was great. The location is perfect on Fremont St. Rooms updated and includes one day pass per person for each night's stay for Stadium Swim at the Cierca. Which is worth the visit if you like sports and expensive drinks. There was a strange smell in the hallways to the rooms, especially on floor 7. I can't even describe it. one of our parties' rooms was missing a fridge.

I've been staying here for years since it was Fitzgeralds. Employees are always friendly. $15 minimum on table games was a bit high for us, and apparently for others, too, since tables were empty most of the time. $5 tables at the Grand were full. Seems to me, lower minimums brings more people to the tables, which has to be better than empty tables.

This is a good basic hotel room that has the staples. Rooms are a bit dated, but does what I needed. Bathrooms felt like they tried to update them but weren’t very clean- hair in the shower drain and sink upon checking into my room. Appreciated the blackout curtains and quietness of the room even though it was so close to Fremont Street. Didn’t really use the pool or gamble so I can’t comment on those. Restaurant options are decent but nothing to write home about. Appreciated the free parking for guests.

Great location and price but they only cleaned the room half the days we stayed. Thursday and Friday we're great. But the room was not serviced on Saturday or Sunday. Had to call down to guest service to get clean towels

Reasonable value, mostly updated. Had issues with A/C, which they replaced the unit while I waited. Noise level was high due in part to a gap around the A/C which let in concert sound from below. I recommend not staying on the top 34th floor and would favor east side of the building.

I found your security team professional and friendly. Some of the concierge workers could have used an iron on their clothing. And someone should be at the desk at all times. when went to return the luggage cart I had to wait over 10 minutes to retrieve my driver's license. The fellow was assisting another guest. I did however feel safe, which is very significant. I'm not clear why the shower door is not built to keep the water inside the shower. it's half a door. I do think the D offers value over a lot of the other hotels for the price. It was wonderful not to have to pay for parking while staying there. The banquet room was also nice.

The room was clean and that's it. The lighting was poor, very outdated TV and no fridge. The upside is the room was again clean, cool and the hot water worked perfectly. For what I spent it was good. I would come back for the same price and definitely for less.

So I'm giving it three stars but that's just in comparison to all the other Las Vegas hotels I been to. I did like staying here the past three days. Room is smallish but very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Casino is small but nice. Whole place is clean, interesting, and nice. Plus sharing a rewards card with Circa was a plus as well as access to stadium swim.

The D is a good Hotel if you want to stay downtown. It is close to Fremont Street, in fact you can't get any closer. I don't know what it is about all the hotels this guy whose first name starts with a D but they're a little weird. The one at the end of the street and also the Golden Gate are very old and I guess it's hard these old hotels and make them modern. I don't think we would ever stay here again especially since the pricing is very similar to some of the bigger hotels that have modern rooms. We did pretty good gambling here though and I have to say the casinos are fun, they have dancing girls we drink for free because we gambled all night long!

Okay this was our first time staying at this particular Casino on Fremont Street and it turned out to be a great choice! The value was awesome and the casino is very clean and safe! A little bit of cigarette smoke but not in the room areas where we were staying. Check in was pretty painless and we even got a free beer as we checked in! The parking area is Right adjacent to the casino and it has both ballet and south parking. We will likely be back to stay at this location during future visits to Fremont Street!

The D Hotel and restaurants were great. The only beef with The D is the noise and music until 2:00am. We stayed for 3 nights. Each night the bass rocked the room until 2:00am. The first night we asked to be moved but nothing was available. The next night we were moved to an alleged more quiet room. Turned out to be louder than the previous room. The D needs to reevaluate their clientele and decide whether or not a band until 2:00am rocking the rooms out is more of a priority than their guests sleeping.

I was told check-in is 3 pm. We arrived at 3 pm. Our room was not ready. I was told our room would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. It was 45 minutes before we could access the room. We were offered no accommodations while we waited. How about a free drink at the bar, or some gambling tokens to pass the time? Instead, we were forced to wait outside with our luggage in the heat. I was told they would call or text when the room was ready. They did not. It's not a bad place; reasonable prices, good location, free parking for guests in the attached garage; but they really need to work on customer service.

Located on Fremont, The D is a great place to visit. We did a pub crawl downtown and this was one of the stops. It is a nice place to have a drink and gamble. They even had horse racing.I had a blast betting on the "horses"! Fun place.

If you're looking for a luxury room then this is not the place. The rooms are old and tired. Mattress is lumpy and sunk to the floor. The bathroom has been recently updated. The elevators are AWESOME!. Put your floor number in at the kiosk, tells you what elevator to use and away you go. No more shoving and pushing to get on when crowded. Location can't be beat! Had a lot of fun staying downtown this trip.

Location is great in that you can walk to everything along Fremont St. If you need rest, don’t stay here because the bands played until 2 am and we could hear it all from the 9tth floor. No amenities in the rooms and only given 2 towels for our stay. We had shampoo, conditioner and lotion but they were only 1/2 full. Many reviews said parking was free but we had to pay $25/day for our stay. No information was given at check in. Minimal service at best.

The room was nice, right on Freemont street close to everything. The bartenders at the Long Bar were very friendly. The only complaint I have is that there was not a refrigerator, microwave or coffee pot, however the coffee bar was right outside the elevator in the lobby so we did not have to walk far for coffee. We had steak left over from dinner and it would have been nice to have had a refrigerator to put it in to save for later.

My wife and I weren’t guest of the hotel, but I just wanted to write this review to bring up the head valet (I believe his name was Cris). He saw that my wife and I were at the enterprise desk waiting for an hour for someone to come by, but no one from enterprise came. That’s when Cris to the liberty to help us out and that was really nice of him. Honestly, if he didn’t help me and my wife we would’ve bailed on renting a car and make our vacation limited to downtown Vegas only. So Cris really is an awesome guy and the D hotel is really lucky to have him be a part of the hotel.

Our room was clean, but it was dark and was a smoking optional room, so we had to wash everything when we got home. No biggie! The service was exceptional, and the amenities were great! This was my first trip to Vegas that I didn't stay on the strip. I will never stay on the strip again! Freemont Street is an entirely different experience. I felt safe, taken care of, and absolutely entertained all weekend! I usually leave Vegas thinking...I'm good if I never come back 😆...I left this visit thinking about the next time we can visit!

My wife and I have stayed at The D previously, but this time in January 2024 ended with the worst service experience we've ever had. Prior to our check out on Friday, I inquired with the front desk about a late checkout, and they told me to check in on Friday morning. So I called on Friday morning to request a 1pm checkout, and they gave us one for a $25 fee. Their normal check out time is 11am. Starting at 10:35am, the housekeeping staff started to knock on our hotel door and requested that we leave the room. Each time we told them that we had requested and agreed to pay for a 1pm check out time. The same person knocked on our door at 11:15am to request that we leave. At 12:10pm, a housekeeping supervisor again knocked on the door and told us she had not received any notice from the front desk. We told her again that we had a 1pm checkout time. She then told us to call the front desk to request that they inform the housekeeping staff about our late check out. All throughout the time from 10:30am to 12:45pm when we left, we could hear housekeeping yelling at each other from different rooms as they were cleaning other rooms so it was impossible to sleep. After we left, I noticed an extra $250 charge to my credit card, and followed up with the hotel to see what it was for. It turns out that the housekeeping staff reported substantial damage to the room, and they refused to remove the charge. We didn't do anything to the room! We won't be staying at The D again! Very disappointing experience!
