If you have an opportunity give extra $20 and find somewhere else. It is a terrible place. The location didn’t make me feel safe. I waited for check in more than 30 minutes. I did my reservation via Capital one travel. I thought I paid all the fees already, but surprisingly they asked me to pay another $20 fee extra here. My room had two beds. They don’t have any door for the toilet and bathroom. The toilet is in your room. The room smells musty like you forgot your clothes wet. I did a huge mistake by coming this place. So dissatisfied.

Probably the best place we stayed in during our trip to Vegas. I came here with my girl friend last Friday and we loved it. The people at the front desk were beyond helpful, they even helped us print our boarding passes since we forgot to do it at the airport. Our room was on the 1st floor with an amazing view of the strip. I will be recommending this place to anyone!

The place was decent. My husband unfortunately picked it. But the staff was very friendly. I give them that. But, you can hear into the next room. It can be noisy. Would we stay there again no. Another thing the room was nice. Small, but nice. One thing I'll say they don't have a microwave and a mini fridge.

I stayed here one night and that was plenty. It's called a "boutique" hotel but there's nothing "boutique" about it. it's a renovated super 8 like hotel (this is connected to an actual super 8). The incidentals charge was $125. Caesars isn't that high. What bugged me most was being charged $20 for an "amenities fee". It was 40 degrees! The pool isn't open. I told them I don't care for that and they said it wasn't optional. The room itself is just okay. Bed was firm but the room was clean so happy in that respect. I recommend asking for a third floor room. I was on first and you can hear EVERYTHING especially the cars coming and going, door opening/closing, trunks slamming etc. One upside is that it's next to the Deuce Bus stop and walking distance to gold and silver pawn shop if that's your fancy. This is behind a wedding chapel so heads up when trying to find it. The area of town is a little sketch at night so travel in groups if walking to and from.

BOOK IF YOU LIKE ROACHES If leaving no stars was a thing I would give it a -0 the comments are fraud unless they somehow have gone horribly down hill since Covid happened this hotel is legit a hotel version catfish #1 the resort is not a thing hasn’t been open since Covid so your paying for nothing #2 you have unwanted roommates with antennas # they charge you a $125 deposit to sleep with the unwanted roommates (roaches) and yes I SAID ROACHES customer service not the greatest because if I come down to tell you there is roaches and your only concern is the smoking policy not good customer service the list goes on …. But an upside is they leave two water bottles In the room to share with the roaches …. Did I mention there’s roaches ? Oh ya there is roaches !!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed 5 nights here for EDC . It was a perfect distance from the hotel to the speedway and the strip . Check in was smooth we asked for a early check in and it was available 🙌🏻. Our room was two queen beds on the 3rd floor . Equipped with a TV , bathroom , closet . Our only goal for this hotel was to just sleep and recover and this place did what we we’re looking for a nice clean space to recoup . We would run into the cleaning staff when exiting our room and they were nice . Parking was fine for us we didn’t have any issues with that . I guess you can say the area wasn’t amazing but it didn’t affect us as much as people are stressing on the reviews. I saw on the reviews that there were bed bugs ? But we didn’t have that issue. The bed and towels were very clean . Overall I would stay here again, My group and I were very happy with our stay 😸🫶🏻

This whole staff is amazing! We had a large party stay at the venue for our weekend long event. We had people locked out, towel request and more answered promptly. The security was on point! Calvin is great. Made sure our party was safe and our vehicle security was never a concern with him around. Will definitely return!

Great location and price. A bit stressful as we could not find the lobby and the front desk was not answering the phone. But overall a great stay, we got two queens for one night for $80. Walkable distance to downtown

This has to be one of the worst experiences I've had at any hotel ever! The check in process at the Thunderbird Hotel in Las Vegas had me ready to gouge my own eyes out. My partner and I arrived at about 6PM on a Sunday night after a long day of driving through Arizona, Utah, and Nevada to about 5 people ahead of us in line. I didn't think it would be that bad, but the sign in system was not working. They ended up opening a second sign in counter in a different building around the corner and sent all guests that had arrived after us to the new counter. Meanwhile, in line for the original counter the process was very slow (over 15 minutes per guest) and we were eventually told to go to the other counter behind all other guests behind us! Altogether getting checked in ended up taking over 3 hours even though we had a reservation, i was ready to pee my pants as there were no amenities whatsoever during this wait time. As far as our stay? I requested no housekeeping so I could get some work done, and what do you know .... I was continously pestered by knocking. And then we were charged a housekeeping fee?? I give one star for the nice pool. Other than that will not be staying here again!

This is a motel, not a hotel. The area is not great. The staff is polite and kind. The rooms have paper-thin walls and you can hear almost anything going on around you. The beds are really hard and the pillows are not filled well. Also, for some reason our room had the window open and the curtains drawn - we were not notified. There was a gap under the door as well where we could see light coming through. This didn’t help with the loud noise problems, since we could hear a lot coming in from outside. The style of the rooms is decent, but I would never stay here again.

I didn't see any shady people but the Walgreens down the block did have a lot of homeless lying outside the front. The check in was painful, one person working and had to wait over 20 minutes. Check out was seamless and easy. I got my deposit back. Room 1103 had a weird lock ( didn't turn) which I told the front. My friend's room , their door lock turns. There was a long hair on the towel stack( wasn't mine). Overall clean enough and cheap enough for a night. Ac worked. I didn't have neighbors but if I did , I didn't hear them. I could hear people rolling their luggage though. Free parking was nice. If you are a first time tourist and want to be on the strip, this might not be a good location. This hotel was closed to a chapel and 5 minute driving from fremont st.

Exactly what the other Reviewers said rooms are clean and no mini Fridge , friendly staff and clean environment. When booking through other websites make sure you know all the charges, cuz once u are checking in a Resort fee of $20/day will be charged. TBH I didn’t feel like paying it but I did anyway. Walls are super thin and during day time lots of sounds from other gusts and cleaning staff can be herd. Good access to parking.

Good overall for a budget NON Casino stay. Room was clean with nice recycled wood furniture. The bed was a bit creaky and not the best mattress but it's ok for a brief stay. My biggest issue is there's NO microwave or fridge which is essential in my opinion especially for a weekend or extended stay. The check in process was smooth and FYI they require deposit for check in. It's close to the Strat and u can walk there but will need to drive or Uber to the main strip area. Good overall. Recommend!

Good morning guys,my experience with this hotel today was so bad especially with lady, when I ask the lady who works at front desk about one coffee she say no you can not have one because you’re check out. This is really rude and I don’t know how they want the customer get back for their hotel.

We can't really complain about the room, being that it was so affordable, but the website never mentioned that the restaurant and bar were both closed due to reconstruction. Nor did the desk clerk at check in. We had to discover that ourselves, excited and hungry, which was disheartening because theres not much around this place. We may not have stayed here if we knew this. We specifically said "at least they have a bar and food there". The joke and surprise was on us unfortunately. We did enjoy the coffee by the pool in the mornings and there was one lady in the check in office who was super kind. The room was cutely decorated and clean enough but wore socks as floors were sticky, lol They charged us a full resort fee even though our room was only cleaned once in 4 days and there was no bar or food on site. We are pretty self protective people, so thought it was funny that our door barely shut or locked but we made it work. Probably not so funny for many people staying in Vegas though. We won't come back but we're glad to say that we did it. The wedding couples at the white chapel were fun to watch. And the pool area was clean and stocked with towels. You may want to call and ask if the bar and lounge is open before booking if you want more food options.

The rooms are SUPER clean. This is a throwback to the motel days. I think it's great. What some reviews say about security it was 100% fine when I arrived at 9:30 p.m. 55+ lady traveling alone... and cute restaurants close by.

The room we had our stay in, was amazing! Spacious, with a great view of the strip. I was in a emergency and had to leave, so I didn't get to enjoy all the hotel had to offer, but from what I did see it was a great stay.

This was my first time staying at the Thunderbird Boutique Hotel and it did not disappoint! As they know it's my birthday, they got me a complimentary cake and champagne. The room was super clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had an enjoyable experience and will definitely be returning!

Last night we arrived in Vegas and checked into our room at your hotel. We just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the accommodations. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely appointed. We especially appreciated the helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely be recommending your hotel.

The Thunderbird Boutique Hotel is a must-stay for anyone visiting Vegas. Being here felt like a home away from home. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. All the facilities and amenities were top-notch. Most importantly, the location was perfect for exploring all that Vegas has to offer. Surely recommended.

This place has a nightclub upfront hostel and hotel type accommodations. This place was great. I need a place just to crash on a quick notice and this place worked out nicely. The grounds were clean, staff was friendly and room served its purpose. Thanks for everything I would highly recommend this place

The Thunderbird boutique hotel is very near to the strip. Transportation is easily accessible and you also get a restaurant discount with the partnered restaurant. The room are ok to stay in. They do housekeeping everyday and I am very thankful to the housekeeping team for that. You can get any information at the front desk. The hotel has a pool which is accessible from morning to dusk. I would suggest you the hotel if you are looking for a decent stay at a very reasonable price

Decent value for money. Not far from the strip but not the best area - across the road from the strippers and we saw a couple of ‘ladies of the night’ leaving the hotel during our stay. The room was large and the bed was comfortable enough - the pillows were bad though. Water pressure in the shower was great. Air con could be better. The lady who checked us in was lovely. It was what I expected for the money and would still stay here again if looking for cheap accomodation in Vegas.

Absolutely deceitful front desk representative. Was told I would be given a credit for canceled rooms & they actually ended up charging for multiple rooms which nobody stayed in and were conclusively cancelled. Do not stay at this absolute POS “ hotel “ . Rooms feel cheap, way at the end of the strip next to drug dealers and hookers. Stay away from this cancer of a place called hotel.

One week after and the deposit still not receive.. asked them for a papel with the details of the deposit and they refuse to give it to me because they say they don’t give a receipt of the deposit.. I seriously think they wont give it to me because in every hotel they give you a receipt with the deposit details, if they will keep something or not… so absolutely avoid this place, the surrounding areas are not safe and nice also..

The Thunderbird Hotel worked for us. It's not in the best part of Las Vegas, but that's ok too. The rooms have been remodeled and were very inviting. However, our first room had an issue and were were preparing to leave. Management handled the issue extremely well and professionally. We ended up taking another room and refunded accordingly. I was most impressed with management and for this reason I would consider staying here again. Things happen, but this all worked out in the end.

You don’t even get what you pay for - we were given one washcloth for 4 people. They provide awful, tiny pillows and refuse to give extras so it’s very difficult to actually sleep here. It’s loud outside with lots of fights and other disturbances in the parking lot overnight. Definitely not worth it. You can find cheaper places in Vegas that are better.

This place is looking for any reason to charge you. Beauty products on towels? Really? I thought for the location, they wouldn't be so ridiculous. I didn't feel safe because there because they were homeless and druggies held up so close to the rooms. Enjoy your stay in Vegas somewhere else.

Don't stay here. Pay the extra $5-$10 a night and stay in a East Fremont hotel, because the savings aren't worth it. It's a loud, old hotel with thin walls and floors. If you have a neighbor upstairs or to the right or left of you, you'll know it. The beds are very worn and the pillows are filled with hardened cotton balls. The staff are nice enough and I feel bad for them with all they have to put up with that is beyond their control. The owner needs to either reduce prices or remodel.

Recently stayed at the Thunderbird hotel located at 1215 S. Las Vegas Blvd on July 14th, 2021. Room was great but we, several guests who were up first thing in the morning, had NO running water at all. The front lobby was closed and throughout the next 2 days I tried to contact the front deck with no luck. I finally realized that the answering machine was telling people to press 9 to reach the operator and that just hung up the phone the operator can be reach at option 0. When I finally reach the front desk the lady was very short with me and told me that they cannot do anything about it but will have her manager call me. I give it 1 star for lousy customer service, for no emergency contact information of someone if there is an emergency, and for no running water

We stayed here for 3 nights and the room itself was very nice and spacious and fit us just fine for a couple of backpackers. They were very accomodating when we needed to modify our booking and was appreciated greatly. The pool is also lovely. The only downside is the neighbourhood. Would not recommend walking around at all even during the day as very dodgy and felt unsafe but closeish to a bus stop that can take you down the strip.

Just had the best time with my baby girl here. My 8 year old daughter and I came here for 2 days and 2 nights and we loved our stay here. it is in the middle of everything. Just minutes from places like shopping and food places. Also the staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

They are scammers who charges $35 for some used up towels that thousands of people used already talking about damaged from hair dye. You guys have bugs everywhere and should be ashamed of yourselves. I do not recommend nor will I ever stay here. Trash!!!

Initially we were a little apprehensive about staying in a new hotel on the strip but we're so glad we did! The location was great and it was so nice to be able to come and go without having to go through a casino. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back!

The prices aren't to bad, check-in was easy, the employees were friendly and the room was better than I expected, but they do need some touching up and more attention to cleaning. The walls had a few holes in them, the bathroom door looked like it was melted, under the beds were dirty and a dirty washcloth was left under the sink. Bathroom is a bit to small though, it was hard to turn around after showering and not hit the toilet. I would stay there again though.

So I had to stay in Vegas because my plane had to do an emergency landing and got stuck overnight, I looked for something cheap of course without realizing it was far away from the airport I already booked it for $50 then had to pay $40 for an Uber, when I got there it didn't seem to be in best place in town but I walked in and the young woman was the desk clerk, she was very helpful she tried to help me and was very polite, after I had paid got my key and went to my room, it was okay I was just happy to have somewhere to sleep. The reviews about thin walls very true I heard people about walking and talking all night and the beds are on wood slabs, but besides that room was clean. Ohhh door lock latch was so lose it didn't lock!! Then when I left to get in my Uber the next morning I realized I couldn't find my id so I went to return my keys and see if they had it and they desk was closed till 7 and I was leaving at 6 but there was a security guard there and he took my information and went and looked and brought it to me and he really went above and beyond, so that's why I'm giving this place 5stars due the wonderful clerk and the security guard or they would of got a 3stars!!!

Great price for a good room for EDC. Just a short (daytime) walk to the Strat and loved that parking was free plus our car was right outside our door. Had an armed security guard checking the lot & parking passes which was great because the area is a little rough.

Our room was exceptionally clean. It was last minute thing due to flight cancellations. I booked then read reviews and was thinking what did I do. But was happy when I opened the door.

  • 1/5 Claudia P. 11 months ago on Google
Awfull location, neighborhood full of homeless and junkies, you can walk during the day but at night take a cab or uber. The room although it was clean, it was in bad shape, holes in the doors, stained walls, old furniture, and im pretty sure there were bedbugs or some kind of bugs in the linens. The manager is never around. The frontdesk lady is ok given the circunstances she has to deal with. The walls are thin as paper you can hear everything and there's always people coming and going talking very loud playing music smoking weed. I booked for 5 nights, only stayed 2 and went to a better hotel (a bit more expensive but totally worth it). Since i checked out early (didnt stay the whole 5 nights) they agreed to refund the nights i didnt stay. Well, its been more than 1 month and im still chasing my refund.

The rooms were really nice, surprisingly clean and well decorated for the price. Only issue that there was no mini fridge to store beverages. Staff was kind and worked with me on a small financial issue. The walk there was grueling though. Especially when paired when the heat. The front lobby was in a weird spot too

Me and my wife stayed here for 4 nights and we had a very nice time. Located right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. We give the Thunderbird 5 stars because we got above what we paid for. Peace and quiet, a nice pool, a safe environment, and a great staff.

My family and I liked the room. The outside of the hotel doesn't look like much but the inside of the room was nice and clean. It's very simple. No microwave, no fridge, no bath. The two ladies in the lobby were not very attentive but the one who checked me in was kind enough to change my room so I could have closer parking. It was a good price for a nice stay overall.

Exactly what we were looking for - clean, quiet, and super friendly staff. Moved my weekend reservation to this hotel after being at a prestigious "strip" hotel for 1 night. Hotel is JUST OFF the strip - far enough away from the bustle but a 2 minute drive back to the bright lights. Room was SUPER clean, spacious, and super quiet (we had a first floor room). I have to admit that the grounds look like something out of a low budget horror movie, but once you get passed that, you'll notice how clean and remarkably well taken care of they are. Staff was super friendly. Room didn't have that typical nasty "hotel" smell, towels were nice and clean, and the double stand up shower was awesome. King size bed was comfy and I actually liked the pillows. After reading other Google reviews, there are some things that need to be addressed. The $125 fee is a DEPOSIT - as long as you don't trash the room, you get the full amount back. I'm sure you can imagine the types of parties that can happen just off the strip in Vegas - they're protecting their asset. We stayed here on a VERY BUSY weekend - there were no vacancies - and had ZERO issues with any type of noise. It was actually eerily quiet. We were surrounded by other rooms to the left, right, and above, and didn't hear a peep from anyone. Their overflow lot for parking is a bit of a walk (can't really see the car from the room), but had no issues at all with vandalism or theft parking overnight. Would HIGHLY recommend for anyone who wants to be close to the action without spending an arm and a leg.

Thunderbird Royal Showroom is the perfect place for your next event! Why? Because they know how to make their guests feel special. From the moment you step in, their staff will treat you like royalty. And their food? Delicious! I highly recommend this venue.

Don't forget to use HotelTully.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you won't be disappointed. Stayed at this hotel twice.. been a great experience!!! The guy that runs the place is super nice and helpful!!! Great rate.. very happy with my overall experience

Wish I could give none. They advertise on travel sites and I got the room. Come my anniversary they want me to pay $125 for the room (already paid for) then $20 for the key! I wouldn't mind the key but I'm not paying for the room twice! SCAMMERS!!!!!!! SPEND THE EXTRA SOMEWHERE ELSE!

This is horrible. I regret with my entire soul the day I decided this hotel like a good option. This is the second night. Yesterday I had a bad experience during the payment, there was an extra charge of security deposit, I am extremely careful when I read terms and conditions, nowhere was mentioned, I used the website to book the room and nothing related was there, I verified the email, nothing. The lady who works here, said “I can show you where is it”, she never found it. Anyways, I was really tired and I just wanted to sleep, I agreed to have an extra charge of 100$ of security deposit that will be reimbursed after they verify I didn’t damage the property. This morning, I left my trimmer in the bathroom, next to the sink with my toothpaste and toothbrush. My dirty clothes were in the top of the dresser, and on the top of my backpack I had a special setup for my religious beliefs, all these items were moved careless and without my permission to inside of my backpack, because of this, the trimmer is broken now. I went to complain to the guy who is in charge, I explained the situation, he said “the maids does not enter to a room”, I replied that they replaced the sheets of the bed, give me an explanation, he asked if I have another person, I’m traveling alone I added; his “I don’t know I don’t know” stressed me even more, Finally I requested to talk to a supervisor, manager, he said “tomorrow 10am”. I said “ok”, and I returned to the room. Because of that, few minutes later someone knocked the door, a security agent. I explained everything again, finally he gave a paper to write everything I mentioned. I just finished. Still stressed and frustrated. Lesson learned: cheap hotel = high chance of having bad experiences.

I originally made the reservation at the nearby Super 8, but I was offered this upgrade upon arrival. It was a confy enough stay at a cheap rate. Water pressure and wifi were decent, too. I would give an extra star if the rooms had mini fridges and microwaves (like most other hotels do these days.) I would stay here again if I need a cheap room.

I would like to add to my previous review because I scrolled through to find the other review about deposit not being returned. The hotel replied saying they don’t officially withdraw it so no money will be back in your account.. I keep track of my transactions and I’m missing the deposit amountZ so while the amount isn’t officially withdrawn there is a hold so you can’t use the money.. so when it is released the $125 should be back in my account.

The hotel has the potential to be so much more than it currently sets itself up to be. They have a Wedding Chappel, a Night Club, and an elevated garden patio area thats perfect for an exclusive private party package. With each area they're missing a They are at the old end of the strip. That being the case, they attract more the local business than they do with the out-of-the-area tourist crowd.
